The Provincial Capital First People's Hospital is located in the city center. It is a modern building with more than 20 floors. When Lin Feng and the other two arrived, it was already 2:00 in the afternoon.

Zhao Mingxuan took them directly to the dean's office. The dean was a middle-aged man in his fifties named Chen Jianguo. He was very excited when he heard that Lin Feng had arrived.

"Doctor Lin, you're finally here." Chen Jianguo held Lin Feng's hand. "We're at our wit's end."

"What's the situation?" Lin Feng asked.

"It's getting worse," Chen Jianguo said with a frown. "Two more patients showed abnormal symptoms this morning. Now a total of fifteen patients have been affected."

“What are the family members’ emotions?”

"It's very exciting," Chen Jianguo sighed. "Just now, several family members came to me and said they wanted the media to expose our hospital."

As he was speaking, the office door was pushed open and several doctors in white coats walked in.

"Director Chen, the experts have arrived and are waiting for you in the conference room," said one of the doctors.

Chen Jianguo quickly stood up and said, "Doctor Lin, we have invited several well-known experts from the province to come for a consultation. Please come and take a look."

There were seven or eight experts sitting in the conference room, most of them gray-haired elders who looked highly respected. Chen Jianguo briefly introduced Lin Feng's identity, but it was clear that these experts did not take this young man seriously.

"Dear experts, what are your opinions on the condition of this group of patients?" Chen Jianguo presided over the meeting.

An elderly bespectacled specialist spoke first. "I've reviewed the medical records. These patients' symptoms are complex, but they all have one thing in common: neurological symptoms to varying degrees. I tend to believe this is a form of mass hysteria."

"I disagree." Another expert shook his head. "Mass hysteria usually has clear psychological triggers and relatively simple symptoms. These patients' symptoms are too complex. They are more like some kind of poisoning reaction."

"Poisoning?" a third expert questioned. "We checked the hospital's water, air, and food, and found nothing amiss."

"Maybe it's some new type of chemical." The second expert insisted.

Just then, the door was pushed open and a middle-aged man in a Taoist robe, with a goatee and a compass in his hand walked in.

"Director Chen, the Feng Shui master you invited is here," the head nurse introduced.

The so-called Feng Shui master walked around the conference room, looked at the compass seriously, and then shook his head and sighed, "Not good, not good. There's something seriously wrong with the Feng Shui of this hospital."

"Master, please tell me in detail." Chen Jianguo asked respectfully.

"Your hospital's orientation is seriously taboo, and the recent renovations have disrupted the original feng shui layout, causing a buildup of negative energy and the creation of evil spirits," the feng shui master said mysteriously. "The reason these patients are showing abnormal symptoms is because they've been possessed by evil spirits."

Several medical experts shook their heads after hearing this, but Chen Jianguo seemed to be listening very carefully.

The Feng Shui master continued, "To solve this problem, we must rearrange the Feng Shui layout. I have several magical instruments that can suppress evil spirits. But the cost..."

Lin Feng was amused by what he heard. What these people were saying was all nonsense. He stood up and said, "I want to go see the patient first."

"Doctor Lin, are you going to see a patient?" Chen Jianguo quickly stood up. "Okay, I'll go with you."

Several experts also followed over. They wanted to see what this young man could figure out.

The ward was on the 12th floor, and the elevator was very quiet, with only a slight hum. As soon as I got out of the elevator, I could hear all sorts of noises coming from the ward: some talking to themselves, some crying, and some shouting.

In the first ward lived a man in his thirties, who was talking to the air with a serious expression, as if someone was really talking to him.

"This is Mr. Wang, who was hospitalized for stomach problems," Chen Jianguo introduced. "He started experiencing these symptoms on the third day of hospitalization."

Lin Feng walked to the bedside and carefully observed the patient's expression and movements. The patient's eyes were a little distracted, his pupils were slightly dilated, and his skin was a little flushed.

"Mr. Wang." Lin Feng called softly.

The patient turned his head and looked at Lin Feng, his eyes full of confusion: "Who are you? Did you see it too? Those people, they kept talking."

"Who is it?" Lin Feng asked.

"Right over there." The patient pointed to the corner. "Three people in white clothes. They said I can't leave here."

Lin Feng looked in the direction he pointed, but there was nothing there. He took out the pulse pillow and prepared to take the patient's pulse.

"What are you going to do?" asked the old expert with glasses.

"Taking the pulse." Lin Feng answered simply.

"Taking the pulse?" The old expert sneered. "What era is this? Why are you still using such a primitive method? We have the most advanced examination equipment."

Lin Feng ignored him and concentrated on taking the patient's pulse. The pulse was a little strange, smooth and rapid, but with a hint of stringiness. He had seen this kind of pulse before, but he couldn't remember where.

Then, Lin Feng went to see several other patients. Their symptoms were different, but their pulse patterns were similar.

After seeing all the patients, Lin Feng fell into deep thought. These symptoms and pulse patterns reminded him of some records in ancient medical books.

"Doctor Lin, have you seen anything?" Chen Jianchang asked expectantly.

Lin Feng did not answer immediately, but asked: "What is the usual diet of these patients?"

"They are all nutritious meals from the hospital, they are normal."

"Where's the drinking water?"

"It's all municipal water, and the quality is fine."

Lin Feng asked a few more questions, then said, "I need to check it carefully again."

He returned to the bedside of the first patient, but this time he did not take the patient's pulse. Instead, he carefully observed the patient's fingers and tongue coating.

The patient's nails were slightly bluish purple and his tongue coating was a little greasy and yellow, details that had been overlooked before.

Lin Feng had a bold guess in his mind, but he needed further verification. He took out the silver needles from the medicine box and prepared to give the patient acupuncture.

"You want acupuncture?" The old expert jumped in again. "The patient is unconscious now. What if something happens?"

"Don't worry, I know my limits." Lin Feng said as he started to insert the needle.

He chose several special acupuncture points specifically for detoxification and clearing the mind. After the silver needles were inserted, the patient's expression immediately changed and his eyes began to clear.

About ten minutes later, Lin Feng put away the needles. The patient looked around blankly: "Where am I? I felt like I was dreaming just now."

Everyone present was stunned. The patient who had just been talking nonsense was now conscious.

"How is this possible?" The old expert couldn't believe his eyes.

Lin Feng ignored everyone's surprise and continued to give acupuncture to several other patients. After acupuncture, each patient's symptoms improved significantly.

Now, everyone looked at Lin Feng with admiration.
