The Japanese troops quickly landed, and their vanguards dispersed in small groups. Three low-ranking soldiers, led by a private first class, charged forward. The Japanese army continued its two-pronged advance, with two separate squads advancing.

They indicated that there were no enemies and they could continue to move forward.

Under the strong orders of the lower-level non-commissioned officers, the Japanese troops continued to advance towards the bush area, this time with much more caution and in a dispersed manner. Luo Hui saw that the time had come and ordered each group to open fire freely!
