"Give me some dynamite and an initiator!" she yelled, her voice almost drowned out by the gunfire.

"I didn't expect you to be so capable." He whispered, and there was finally a hint of certainty in his tone.

Cheng Yuwei reluctantly stood up, looked up at him, and said firmly: "I said I can help you. It's just that you are willing to believe me."

Ling Xiaotian didn't answer, but simply turned and walked away, his figure looming tall and lonely in the smoke of the battlefield. Cheng Yuwei watched him from behind, a sudden surge of inexplicable emotion welling up in her heart. Although this man was cold and ruthless, he seemed to carry a heavy burden of purpose within him.
