Each cell is sealed with dense rune locks and sacred rings. The technology from the Necrons makes escape a luxury. Even light and sound cannot escape from here.

This is a place that the Star God cannot gaze upon, and no force of destiny can reach it. The Black Stone technology from the Undead has blocked this place.

This is also the boundary between the warp and reality. If necessary, the jailer will pull the entire dungeon into the warp and let the God-Emperor ensure that no one escapes.

The jailers guarding here are the imperial guards among the imperial guards, the elite among the empire's elite, the shadow guards, also known as black corn or shadow prison guards.

The imperial guards, wearing black armor, will patrol here day and night to guard everything here.

Even as strong as they are, they can't help but feel uneasy when patrolling. Although not all the creatures imprisoned here are alive, each one who can come in contains enormous energy or a terrifying soul.

Some are imprisoned here because the Empire believes they have special uses, some are immortal and cannot be killed, and some will do more harm than good if killed. In the end, they are all imprisoned here. If any one of them escapes, the Empire will have a headache.

For example, there is a prisoner who was once a warlord in an unknown universe. He developed a divine plague virus. During the war with the empire, this virus dissolved hundreds of planets, and even the Abundant Pharmacist could not save them. They were shattered into ashes.

It almost killed two Primarchs, it was horrific. Now this man is locked up in there. If the time comes, when the survival of the empire depends on life and death, this virus will be useful.

The most famous ones in the dungeon are the "Four Bosses", four demons from the subspace, who are also the HR interviewers of Shadowguard. Only those who pass their tests can become a member of Shadowguard.

They are the Soul Driller, the Eight of Skulls, the Sevenfold Miasma, and the Granter of Six Wishes.

They were the first group of demons born in the subspace. To be honest, they were unlucky. When Hu Lei discovered that dirty things began to appear in the originally clean subspace, he captured four of them for research. They were the four unlucky guys.

"I have met my lord!"

Seeing Hu Lei coming in person, the Shadow Guards saluted one after another. Most of the Imperial Guards during the Great Crusade addressed Hu Lei as "Master".

However, after Hu Lei was captured, the new generation called him by different names. Some called him Emperor, some simply called him father, and some called him Divine Emperor. Most of the Buli people called him War Chief, but Hu Lei didn't care.

"Everyone, get up. I'm here for something. You guys continue doing your things."

"Yes, my lord!"

The loyal guards dispersed and continued their patrol. Since the emperor didn't ask them to follow, they shouldn't act on their own and should just do their own thing.

"Great Dark Lord, our loyalty to you is witnessed by the sun and the moon. Praise the God-Emperor!"

When the four jailers saw Hu Lei coming, they all knelt on the ground and praised him lavishly.

They are the first creatures in the subspace, and their level can only be considered as great demons, which is far from the four small vendors.

They are the great demons under the command of Tzeentch, Slaanesh, Nurgle and Khorne, but their masters have not yet been born.

After Hu Lei captured them and studied them, he threw them into the dungeon to let them shine. They were the only four prisoners who could move freely, and they were more like interviewers than prisoners.

Only the Imperial Guards who have passed their tests can serve as shadow guards and guard the dungeon.

The first interviewer is the Soul Driller, a Tzeentch demon with nine eyes. He is good at witchcraft and mind control. His job is to test willpower. Shadowkeep newcomers have to stare at the nine eyes without blinking to pass.

The second interviewer is Skull Eight, a Khorne demon who is proficient in fighting and killing. He is used to test Black Corn's fighting ability. The requirement is that he must not wear any armor or use any weapons and must defeat the opponent with his bare hands.
