Global Weirdness: People Survive in Ultra

Chapter 93 Jiro digging a spaceship

Meng Yao roughly calculated in his mind the strength of the two celestial monsters after their fusion, and then motioned Jiro to continue.

Jiro wiped the ice from his beard. "The enemy is very powerful. After the fusion, its body became boundless, covering the entire sky. It swallowed up Brother Xiang and the other Ultraman named Dyna."

"But I saw Brother Xiang suddenly summon a huge clock."

"Ultra Bell?!"

Meng Yao shouted out subconsciously, this is the sacred artifact of the Kingdom of Light in the Showa era.

Jiro nodded.

"Although the entire world was swallowed by the monster, Brother Xiang used the Ultra Bell to freeze time and space, and we were trapped in a three-day cycle."

"In the end, Brother Xiang was captured by the Snow Woman and Prismo, and Ultraman Dyna escaped from Bashmon's body, entangled in darkness."

Jiro clenched his fists, and his eyes suddenly flashed with light.

"Ultraman Dyna used his miraculous power to protect me at the last moment. He told me to find a way to go to heaven."

He pushed open the door of the tin house, which was filled with old and dirty furniture. There was a bonfire on the open ground, and the smoke was rising slowly through the hole in the roof.

Meng Yao looked up through the hole in the roof and saw melted snow falling drop by drop.

"What can you do in heaven?"

Jiro also looked up, not knowing whether he was looking at the snow or the sky.

"Before Dyna left, he told me that there are all sorts of stars moving inside the celestial monster, and one of them is its weakness."

"If we can find this star, maybe there's a way to help Brother Xiang."

Meng Yao suddenly realized, but then looked at the shovel in Jiro's hand.

Jiro raised his shovel. He also sensed Meng Yao's doubts. "Zhuomu Mountain was a small town a long time ago."

"At that time, there lived a young man named Sakuma Ryo in the town."

Hearing this name, Meng Yao finally remembered the story of Zhuomo Mountain.

The young man kept digging holes beside the river under the setting sun, and the heavy rain was filled with the sound of gunfire that reflected human fear.

He felt a little awkward and subconsciously asked, "That boy..."

Jiro said calmly, "I don't know when Mara disappeared, so long ago that Takuma Mountain was transformed into a tourist area."

"Maybe he's missing, or maybe he's dead."

Meng Yao smiled and said, "What if he found the spaceship left by the Meci people and left the Earth?"

His smile was a little forced.

Jiro said firmly: "The spaceship is definitely still on this land!"

"The renovation of Zhuomo Mountain into a tourism project was originally going to dig up the entire land, but for unknown reasons it was eventually stopped."

Jiro said no more. He leaned the shovel against the wall and bent down to stir the campfire.

After a while, the fire appeared and the room became a little warmer.

Jiro set up the iron pot, added rice and water, and turned to Meng Yao apologetically, "The conditions are relatively simple, do you mind?"

Meng Yao waved his hand to indicate that everything was fine.

He also squatted beside the campfire, fiddling with rice porridge with Jiro.

The wind and snow were silent, and the sky darkened.

There were chaotic footsteps outside the house, and it seemed that five or six people were approaching.

Meng Yao covered the pot and stood up alertly, while Jiro hurriedly picked up the iron pot and hid it under the table.

"Don't worry about me later, just take care of our dinner."

Jiro made some incoherent instructions, and before he could catch his breath, the door of the iron house was suddenly kicked open.

The cold air poured in, the flames swayed, and the human figure became longer and shorter.

Five or six men pushed the door open and rushed in. The leader glanced around the room and asked, "Hey, are you cooking?"

Meng Yao frowned: "What are you doing?"

The leading man glanced at Meng Yao, but the younger brothers behind him stole the shovel that Jiro was leaning against the corner.

Click!

The wooden handle of the shovel was kicked into two pieces by several men.

Meng Yao was about to speak when Jiro stopped him.

This sloppy man, this once lively boy, now shook his head numbly at Meng Yao.

His lips moved silently.

Leave it alone.

Meng Yao understood what he meant.

The men who suddenly broke in threw their broken shovels outside the house. The leader said, "Why are you still here? I've told you so many times not to dig here!"

"Brother, he is a madman, and he doesn't understand what he said."

"I think he's an alien. Who doesn't know there's a spaceship buried underground here?"

Several men burst into laughter.

They were much taller and more muscular than Jiro, and the shadows they cast around Jiro completely obscured his presence.

The leader patted Jiro's face and said, "Aliens are digging spaceships. You must be homesick, right? Do you have a home too?"

"That person from the star Meci who was beaten to death back then, couldn't he be your relative?!"

A man covered his mouth exaggeratedly, his face full of shock.

Then it turned into a sneer.

Meng Yao finally couldn't help it. He already knew what these men were going to do.

“That’s too much!!”

The men looked at Meng Yao jokingly: "Who are you? You want to help the aliens too?"

Meng Yao didn't answer, but threw a punch. The man covered his nose and took a few steps back, only to be supported by the others.

Meng Yao wanted to attack, but Jiro hugged him.

Meng Yao's face flushed red with anger: "Why is Jiro being bullied like this?!"

Jiro murmured, "It's okay, I'm used to it."

Meng Yao was confused and angry, but he stopped attacking and stared at Jiro instead.

"Those enemies know what I'm doing, but if I die, the world will just restart."

"So they simply sent some bewitched humans to stop them. This isn't the first time."

Jiro smiled miserably.

"Once I resisted and was knocked to the ground by the men. I saw a huge smiling face appear in the sky. That's when I knew it was a trick."

The man who was hit by Meng Yao wiped the blood from his nose, grabbed Jiro's hair in anger, and dragged him back several steps with great force.

"Alright, alright, look at you, your alien accomplice, you actually dared to attack me!"

The men pushed Jiro to the ground and started hitting him.

In the dust, Jiro smiled at Meng Yao, then curled up and buried his head.

The men cursed at him with vulgar language. Meng Yao hesitated for a moment, but still took action and beat several of them away with his inhuman physique.

He helped Jiro up, whose face was already bruised and red.

"Ahem...you shouldn't have done that." Jiro wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

Meng Yao gently pressed the swollen area for him: "Nonsense, I am Ultraman after all, I have to help you."

"But, there will be more of them tomorrow."

"Then beat them away again!"

Jiro smiled helplessly, and Meng Yao simply stopped what he was doing: "Don't worry, I'm here. Whether it's digging a spaceship or beating people, I'll help you!"
