Global Weirdness: People Survive in Ultra

Chapter 244 Searching for the Taiwan

After walking out of the restaurant, Meng Yao called Lopes who had been waiting outside.

As he approached, Dagu immediately noticed Lopus's appearance and was startled. He subconsciously took two steps back: "You...you are?"

The wanted posters are broadcast on TV every day, and I guess everyone knows the faces of Meng Yao and Lopes.

Meng Yao took off his mask and spread his hands: "Why, are you scared?"

"It's not too late to refuse now."

Dagu hesitated for a while, and finally said firmly: "It's okay, come with me."

Meng Yao chuckled and put on his mask. He followed Dagu and said as he walked, "You're not afraid of us. Do you really trust your intuition?"

"Afraid, of course I am."

Dagu walked in front without turning his head. He could only be heard saying reluctantly: "But I've been tortured to death recently."

As they were talking, the three of them came to where Dagu parked his car.

Looking at the small electric scooter in front of him, Dagu suddenly felt embarrassed: "I'm so sorry, I can only take this."

Da Gu in this world is just an ordinary office worker, which is a far cry from the rich and handsome pilot who used to fly Feiyan No. 1 every day.

Of course Meng Yao didn't mind. The three of them squeezed onto the electric scooter and headed towards Dagu's house.

The house that Dagu rented was just a very simple residential building located on a street in the east of the city.

When the three arrived, it was already 7:30 in the evening and it was getting dark.

"Please come in, and be careful where you step." Dagu pushed open the door.

Meng Yao walked in. The room was furnished in a very standard bachelor's style. He glanced at the shoe cabinet at the door and said with a half-smile, "Isn't Lina living with you?"

Dagu blushed and hurriedly closed the door. He explained in a low voice: "We are not married yet."

"His father is a university professor and a very conservative person. If he knew that Lina and I were living together, he would probably beat me to death."

Meng Yao's smile froze: "What's your father-in-law's name?"

"Oh...it's too early to call him father-in-law now. His name is Hayata Susumu."

Found another one.

Meng Yao muttered to himself and sat on the sofa.

Directly across from the sofa was Dagu's old TV. Meng Yao leaned over to turn it on, and after finding nothing unusual, he patted it.

Dagu walked out of the bedroom holding a radio.

Seeing Meng Yao's actions, Dagu hurriedly stopped him. This was his antique TV, and he didn't want Meng Yao to break it.

"The Snowflake Terrace will only appear after 11 o'clock at night. It's still early now." Dagu held up the radio in his hand. "It's mainly this radio. Since yesterday, I keep hearing a strange sound."

yesterday?

Dagu recalled: "It was like... someone was inside."

As he spoke, he turned on the radio, and immediately a buzzing sound began to sound.

Dagu debugged one channel after another, trying to find the strange channel, but failed after several attempts.

Dagu suddenly felt a little embarrassed: "I don't remember that channel either. It always jumps automatically every time and then returns to normal quickly."

Perhaps afraid that Meng Yao wouldn't believe him, he added, "Really, you believe me."

"I believe it." Meng Yao nodded.

Dagu put down the radio, poured a glass of water for Meng Yao, and then sat aside and looked at the structure of Lopu curiously.

Lopes couldn't stand being stared at, so he simply went in front of the TV and tried to find some clues.

Suddenly, the TV screen began to flicker.

Lopus hurriedly patted Meng Yao's shoulder: "Meng Yao, look!"

The three of them huddled in front of the TV, their faces turning pale as the flickering picture illuminated them.

Noise gradually appears on the screen.

"It's only eight o'clock, why is it snowing?" Dagu subconsciously reached out to tap the TV.

Just then, a face flashed across the screen.

Da Gu:!!!

Dagu was so scared that he fell to the ground, but Meng Yao suddenly rushed to the screen.

That face just now was actually Aix?!

"Why did Aix appear?" Lopus also witnessed the scene. "Could it be that all the strange things Dagu encountered were caused by Aix?"

He made a reasonable guess.

Meng Yao also thought it was very likely. Nowadays, satellite TV is still the most common TV in homes, and the signal is received through a small dish on the roof.

Meng Yao immediately slammed the table and stood up: "Take the radio and go to the roof!"

As they spoke, the two of them rushed out of the room.

Dagu followed behind, holding the radio: "Wait a minute, the door to the rooftop is locked!"

quack!

Lopus broke the iron chain hanging on the rooftop gate with just two fingers, which made Dagu swallow his saliva.

He almost forgot that the two people in front of him were wanted criminals!

When they reached the roof, Meng Yao extended the radio antenna in Dagu's hand, placed it next to the satellite dish, and began to search for signals.

Assuming that X now exists in the form of electromagnetic waves, the radio can definitely receive his signal.

But the problem was that the radio could receive a full four or five hundred channels, not counting the decimal point. Meng Yao wasn't sure how accurate he needed to be to receive Aix's signal.

After trying for almost an hour, everyone still found nothing.

Lopus couldn't help but feel a little discouraged: "Meng Yao, will this method work?"

Meng Yao rubbed his aching waist, stood up and looked at the night in front of him: "I don't know either, but we all saw Aix just now, so there is no doubt about it."

Dagu suggested, "If we try one channel at a time like this, even if we work non-stop for two or three days, we won't be able to figure it out."

"The radio has an automatic channel search function. Why don't we put the radio here and leave someone to watch it?"

"And the automatic search is definitely faster than our manual attempts. We should be able to find the Aix you're talking about by noon tomorrow at the latest."

Dagu's expression was much more relaxed than before.

After figuring out the source of the strange things, he was no longer nervous. Although Dagu also didn't believe that any living thing could exist in the form of electromagnetic waves.

But the two people in front of him are wanted alien criminals after all - with aliens, anything is possible!

Meng Yao thought about it and felt that it was right.

Lopus volunteered: "You guys go down, I'll stay here."

"Okay, let's go downstairs and get some sleep."

Dagu looked at his watch. It was almost 22 p.m. and he had to get up early for work tomorrow.

At that moment, I couldn't help but sigh: This is what office workers are like. Even if the house is haunted, they still have to go to bed early and get up early to go to work.

Watching Meng Yao and Da Gu disappear into the corridor, Lopus glanced at the radio and muttered, "Sleep?"

"The doctor did set up a sleep mode for me, and I can still dream. By the way, what does it feel like to dream?"

After gaining consciousness, he was eager to try all the activities unique to living beings.

In a moment of inspiration, Lopus found a flat place, put his hands on his lower abdomen, and started sleeping mode.

"The radio is right next to me. I'll wake up as soon as there's any movement... Well, it won't delay anything."

Thinking of this, Lopus's one eye disappeared and was replaced by an X.

He went into sleep mode.

About two or three hours later, intermittent electric current sounds suddenly came from the radio.

The sound of the current was very faint, accompanied by a chaotic hissing sound. If you didn't listen carefully, you wouldn't be able to hear it at all.

So Lopes didn't wake up.

"Run...Run quickly...Meng Yao..."
