Another point is that, to be fair, student union vice presidents, especially those at schools, are truly exceptional individuals. Even if some of them have connections, if their qualifications are too poor, even the strongest connections will be useless. They won't have a foothold in the student union.

They must then undergo an annual inspection, and only those who pass the inspection can continue to operate. If they fail the inspection, they will be revoked.
