It's not too late to meet in the book

As night fell, moonlight filtered through the slits in the curtains, casting a silvery patch of light onto the floor of Wang Jing's room. Wang Jing sat on the edge of the bed, her hands folded around her knees, staring blankly ahead, her thoughts already drifting back to the past.

The room was silent, broken only by the occasional chirping of insects outside the window. Wang Jing's heart, however, was like the surging waves of the ocean, restless for a long time. She recalled Renault's kindness to her, his gentle words, his considerate gestures, his meticulous care, all replaying in her mind like a movie.

She remembered once, when she was ill, Renault stayed by her bedside, staying awake all night, just to offer her a glass of warm water and tuck her in. His eyes were filled with worry and love, and she felt an unprecedented warmth. There was also another time when they went to the beach to watch the sunrise together, and Renault held her hand tightly, as if he wanted to hold her whole world in his palm. At that moment, she felt like the happiest woman in the world.

However, all this beauty was shattered by that doctored photo. She had believed Renault had betrayed her, that their relationship had come to an end. But when Renault stood before her with the evidence, when she saw the email records and screenshots of the photo metadata, her heart began to waver.

She began to wonder if she had been too impulsive and if she had not given Renault a chance to explain. She began to think that perhaps things were not what she had imagined, and perhaps Renault was really being wronged.

Wang Jing sighed and rubbed her temples, trying to clear her mind. She knew she couldn't go on like this and had to make a decision. But it was so difficult to make.

She looked up at the moonlight outside the window, and an inexplicable emotion welled up in her heart. The moonlight was bright and clear, as if it could illuminate the confusion in her heart. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and then slowly exhaled.

Just then, her phone suddenly rang, interrupting her thoughts. She picked up the phone and saw a text message from Renault: "Wang Jing, are you asleep? I'm still thinking about you. Finally, the first rays of dawn appeared on the horizon, heralding the arrival of a new day. After Wang Jing got up, washed up, and sat by the window, waiting for Renault to arrive. Her heart was filled with anticipation and anxiety, wondering if Renault would come and how their conversation would go.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Wang Jing's heartbeat quickened. She took a deep breath, walked to the door, and opened it. Standing outside was Renault, holding a bouquet of flowers, his eyes filled with anticipation and nervousness.

"Wang Jing, I'm here." Renault said, handing the flowers in his hand to Wang Jing.

Wang Jing took the flowers, and a warm feeling welled up in her heart. She looked at Renault and smiled. "Come in, let's talk."

The two walked into the house, sat on the sofa and began their conversation. Wang Jing looked into Renault's eyes and said seriously, "Renault, I may have been too impulsive before and didn't give you a chance to explain. Now, I want to hear your explanation."

Renault was filled with gratitude upon hearing this. He knew that Wang Jing's willingness to listen to his explanation meant that their relationship could still be salvaged. So, he began to explain in detail what had happened and how he had discovered Leah's conspiracy.

As Lei Nuo explained, Wang Jing's doubts and anger gradually dissipated. She began to believe Lei Nuo's words and re-evaluated their relationship. She knew that she still loved Lei Nuo, and Lei Nuo had always loved her. Perhaps they should give each other a chance and start over.
