The first rays of morning sunlight crept through the slits in the curtains, bringing a touch of life to the somewhat cluttered space. Renault sat on the edge of his bed, his brow furrowed, his eyes revealing a firmness and determination. "Hello, Leah. I'm Renault, Wang Jing's friend." Renault tried his best to make his tone sound calm and friendly.
