It's not too late to meet in the book

At six in the morning, the sky was just beginning to turn pale, and a faint ray of sunlight filtered through the gap in the curtains, stubbornly pouring into Lei Xiaoyue's room. The air in the room still seemed to carry a hint of the night's chill, but Lei Xiaoyue was curled up in her warm bed, sound asleep.

Wang Jing was already up, dressed in light home clothes, her hair tied back in a simple bun, her face a hint of excitement at her upcoming trip. She walked into the kitchen and expertly brewed a pot of hot tea, then carried the cup into Lei Xiaoyue's room. The room was filled with a familiar, warm atmosphere—the smell of home.

"Xiaoyue, get up, we're going to Songshan for fun." Wang Jing called softly. She walked to the bedside and gently pushed Lei Xiaoyue's shoulder. Lei Xiaoyue only moved slightly, mumbled a few words, and said vaguely: "Mom, let me sleep a little longer, it's still early."

Wang Jing shook her head helplessly. She knew Lei Xiaoyue was a lazy sleeper, but today was the day their family of four, plus their good friend Su Xiaoxiao, were going on a trip together, so she absolutely couldn't be late. In desperation, Wang Jing pulled out her phone and called Lei Nuo. Lei Nuo was Lei Xiaoyue's older brother, currently working out of town, but he always managed to surprise and help his family at crucial moments. "Hey, Mom, what's up so early?" Renault asked.

"Xiao Yue, guess who I am? I am a little monkey in the forest, squeak, squeak, come and play with me!" Renault imitated the little monkey's call, his voice was funny and vivid.

Lei Xiaoyue moved in the bed, as if attracted by the sound, but then fell into a deep sleep again. Seeing this, Renault immediately changed his approach.

"Xiaoyue, let me tell you a joke. One day, a little ant got lost and saw his friend and shouted, 'Brother, how are you getting back to the ant nest?' Hahaha..." Renault's laughter echoed on the other end of the phone, but Lei Xiaoyue just frowned slightly and still had no intention of getting up.

Wang Jing watched from the side, feeling both amused and helpless. She knew that although Lei Nuo's coaxing method was unique, it sometimes didn't work on Lei Xiaoyue. Just as she was about to give up and forcefully drag Lei Xiaoyue out of bed, Lei Xiaoyue finally moved.

She sat up sleepily, her hair tangled on her shoulders, her face full of reluctance. She rubbed her eyes and muttered, "Getting up so early is killing me."

Seeing this, Wang Jing immediately seized the opportunity and said to Lei Xiaoyue while helping her make the bed, "Okay, okay, I know you've worked hard. But today is our trip to Songshan, we can't miss it."

Lei Xiaoyue pouted but nodded reluctantly. Yawning, she began to get dressed. Wang Jing anxiously helped her pack, fearing she'd forgotten anything.

At this time, Su Xiaoxiao also walked into the room. She was wearing a pair of casual jeans and a loose T-shirt, with a smile on her face. She was relieved to see Lei Xiaoyue finally get up.

Su Xiaoxiao was in the living room checking her luggage, carefully checking the list to make sure every item was in place. Her face was serious and focused, as if she was carrying out an important task.

Lin Yuxuan stood at the door, carrying his schoolbag, his eyes constantly glancing at his watch. He knew time was running out, but he didn't want to put too much pressure on Lei Xiaoyue. So, he chose a relaxed way to urge her: "Xiaoyue, if you don't hurry up, we're going to leave you behind."

Lei Xiaoyue couldn't help but feel a little nervous when she heard this. She quickened her pace to pack up, and at the same time, she didn't forget to complain a little: "Really, getting up so early is killing me."

But despite her complaints, Lei Xiaoyue quickly packed up her things. She followed Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao out of the room, with Lin Yuxuan following closely behind. The four of them hurried to the door, ready to leave.
