It's not too late to meet in the book

On a weekend morning, sunlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains, lazily spilling onto the floor, adding a touch of warmth to this ordinary day. Lei Nuo, Wang Jing, Su Xiaoxiao, and Lin Yu brought Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan to the largest local supermarket to buy supplies for an upcoming birthday party.

The supermarket was bustling with activity. The shelves were filled with a dazzling array of goods, from fresh fruits and vegetables to a variety of snacks, from exquisite tableware to colorful decorations. As soon as the children entered the supermarket, they were captivated by the rich and varied merchandise, their eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Xiaoyue, Yuxuan, you can go to the toy area and snack area and choose what you like. But remember, you can only choose one!" Wang Jing said to the two children with a smile, her voice full of tenderness.

Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan nodded excitedly after hearing this. They held hands and skipped towards the toy area like two happy little birds.

The adults began selecting items for the birthday party. Lei Nuo and Lin Yu were in charge of selecting tableware and decorations, carefully comparing styles and prices, hoping to find something both beautiful and practical. Meanwhile, Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao headed to the food section, selecting snacks and drinks that the children would enjoy to add a touch of joy to the party.

Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan lingered in the toy section, looking at and touching toys one after another, as if transported to a dreamlike world. Lei Xiaoyue was captivated by a pink princess doll, gently picking it up and examining it closely. Lin Yuxuan, on the other hand, was captivated by a remote-controlled car, attempting to control it as he tried to navigate the shelves.

"Xiaoyue, look at this princess doll, it's so beautiful! Just like the princess in a fairy tale!" Lei Xiaoyue said excitedly to Lin Yuxuan, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Lin Yuxuan looked at the doll in Lei Xiaoyue's hand and nodded: "Yes, it's really beautiful. But I still like this remote control car more. It can run very fast!"

The two children were immersed in their own worlds, sometimes sharing their discoveries with each other, sometimes laughing. Their laughter was clear and melodious, adding a bit of vitality and energy to this bustling supermarket.

Not far away, the adults were also busy. Lei Nuo and Lin Yu had finally chosen the tableware and decorations. They looked at their work with satisfaction, as if they could already see the joyful scene of the party that day. Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao had also selected snacks and drinks. They smiled and walked towards the cashier, ready to pay.

Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan reluctantly put down their toys and ran towards the adults. They knew they couldn't buy too many things, but being able to choose one thing they liked was enough to satisfy them.

"Mom, I've chosen! I want this princess doll!" Lei Xiaoyue said excitedly. She held the doll high in her hand, as if showing her baby to the world.

Lin Yuxuan was not to be outdone. He held the remote control car and ran in front of Wang Jing: "Auntie, I've chosen! I want this remote control car!"

The adults couldn't help laughing when they saw the children's excitement. They knew that for children, these little wishes were their greatest happiness.

"Okay, let's buy these two toys!" Renault said. He looked at the cashier, ready to pay. "You can also choose some snacks, but remember not to eat too much!"

The children nodded happily. They knew that adults would always try their best to meet their wishes and give them the best. This love and care made them feel extremely happy and satisfied.

At the cashier, the adults were busy paying and bagging. The children were waiting nearby, their eyes sparkling with anticipation and excitement. They knew that once everything was ready, they could go home and start setting up the party.
