It's not too late to meet in the book

As the night deepened, the lights in the house dimmed, casting a warm veil over the tranquil night. In two adjacent bedrooms, Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao were telling bedtime stories to Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan respectively. This was the parent-child time they most looked forward to every day.

In Lei Xiaoyue's bedroom, Wang Jing sat by the bed, holding a beautiful picture book. The colorful pattern on the cover caught Lei Xiaoyue's eye. Lei Xiaoyue, wearing soft pajamas, her little face filled with anticipation and excitement. She snuggled tightly in Wang Jing's arms, ready to listen to tonight's story.

"Today, Mommy wants to tell you a story about a brave little rabbit," Wang Jing said softly, turning to the first page of the picture book and beginning to narrate. Her voice was gentle and powerful, as if it could bring every scene in the story to life before Lei Xiaoyue's eyes.

Lei Xiaoyue was mesmerized, her eyes wide open, fixed on the pictures in the book, as if she could see through those colorful images the brave little rabbit adventuring in the forest. Her little hands tightly grasped Wang Jing's sleeves, as if she could feel the warmth and strength her mother conveyed to her.

"The little rabbit met a big bad wolf, but it was not afraid. Instead, it bravely came up with a way to successfully escape the big bad wolf's pursuit." Wang Jing paused deliberately when she spoke here. She looked at Lei Xiaoyue and found that her eyes were flashing with admiration and yearning.

"The little rabbit is so brave!" Lei Xiaoyue said softly, her voice full of admiration for the brave little rabbit.

Wang Jing smiled and nodded. She continued to tell the story, while Lei Xiaoyue listened quietly, as if she was completely immersed in that world full of courage and wisdom.

Meanwhile, in Lin Yuxuan's bedroom next door, Su Xiaoxiao was telling him another story. Lin Yuxuan lay in bed, covered in a soft blanket, his little face brimming with curiosity and excitement. He occasionally babbled, as if engaging in a silent conversation with the characters in the story.

"This is a story about a kitten's adventure," Su Xiaoxiao said softly, flipping open the picture book and beginning to narrate. Her voice was crisp and rhythmic, as if she could vividly present every detail of the story in Lin Yuxuan's mind.

Lin Yuxuan listened with rapt interest, his eyes wide open, fixed on the picture book in Su Xiaoxiao's hands, as if he could see the kitten going through adventures again and again through the vivid pictures. He waved his hands from time to time, as if fighting alongside the characters in the story.

"The kitten encountered a big monster, but it did not retreat. Instead, it stood up bravely and fought a fierce battle with the monster." Su Xiaoxiao deliberately raised her voice when she spoke here. She looked at Lin Yuxuan and found that his eyes were flashing with excitement and excitement.

"Come on, little kitty!" Lin Yuxuan shouted loudly, his voice full of support and encouragement for the little kitty.

Su Xiaoxiao smiled and nodded, and she continued to tell the story, while Lin Yuxuan made "yayaya" sounds from time to time, as if he was experiencing those thrilling adventures with the characters in the story.

In the two bedrooms, Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao, with their gentle and infectious voices, told wonderful stories to Lei Xiaoyue and Lin Yuxuan respectively. Their voices seemed to have a magical power, bringing the children into one magical world after another, allowing them to grow up in those stories full of courage, wisdom and love.

As time passed, the story gradually drew to a close. In Lei Xiaoyue's bedroom, Wang Jing gently closed the picture book. She looked at Lei Xiaoyue and found that her eyes were already filled with sleepiness.

"Okay, the story is over. Now, you can sleep peacefully." Wang Jing said softly. She reached out and gently stroked Lei Xiaoyue's hair.

"Thank you, Mom," Lei Xiaoyue said softly, her voice filled with gratitude and happiness. She closed her eyes and soon fell into a sweet dream.

In Lin Yuxuan's bedroom next door, Su Xiaoxiao also finished her story. She looked at Lin Yuxuan and found that although his eyes still flashed with excitement and reluctance, he was already sleepy.

"Okay, the story is over. Now, it's time for you to go to bed." Su Xiaoxiao said softly. She stretched out her hand and gently hugged Lin Yuxuan.

Lin Yuxuan took Su Xiaoxiao's hand and said, "Mom! Can you sleep with me tonight?"

Su Xiaoxiao patted his little hands and said, "Yuxuan is grown up now, why do you still ask your mother to sleep with you? Your sister Xiaoyue always sleeps alone, aren't you afraid that she will laugh at you?"

When Lin Yuxuan heard this, he let go of Su Xiaoxiao's hand, "Mom, we still have to tell stories tomorrow!" Lin Yuxuan said loudly, his voice full of anticipation and desire.
