It's not too late to meet in the book

Sunlight filtered through the slits in the curtains, casting dappled shadows on the living room floor. Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao sat on the sofa, each holding a cup of hot tea. Their eyes betrayed a hint of fatigue, yet more so the joy and satisfaction of being new mothers. Just then, the doorbell rang. Wang Jing rose to open the door, only to be greeted by their neighbor—a gentle mother also carrying a stroller.

"Hi, Aunt Li, come in!" Wang Jing greeted her warmly, stepped aside to make way, and took the stroller from the neighbor mother.

Li Ma walked into the living room with a smile on her face. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the little baby in Su Xiaoxiao's arms, blowing bubbles and smiling innocently. "Oh, look at this little guy, he's growing so fast!" she said as she walked, her tone full of envy.

The three of them sat on the sofa, with the stroller gently placed aside. The little ones seemed to feel the presence of new playmates and began to communicate with each other in babbling. Although no one could understand, the innocent happiness infected everyone.

Wang Jing thought for a moment and said softly, "Actually, I've recently noticed that my baby wakes up frequently at night. Sometimes it takes a long time to coax him back to sleep. It's really a headache."

Su Xiaoxiao also said: "Yes, yes, me too. Besides, babies sometimes cry for unknown reasons, and no matter how much you try to comfort them, it really makes you feel helpless."

After hearing this, Mother Li smiled understandingly. "I've encountered these problems before. For night wakings, you can try establishing a regular bedtime ritual, such as bathing, massage, and storytelling, so your baby knows this is preparation for sleep. As for crying, sometimes it could be gas or a wet diaper. Paying more attention, changing it promptly, and addressing it can usually alleviate the symptoms."

Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao listened attentively and nodded from time to time, as if they had found the key to solving the problem.

"Also," Li's mother continued, "don't forget to take some time for yourself. Even if it's just taking a bath or reading a book, it can help you relieve a lot of stress. After all, when mom is in a good mood, the baby can feel it and will naturally be happier."

Su Xiaoxiao looked at Li Ma gratefully. "Thank you, Li Ma. Your advice is really useful. Sometimes, we really focus too much on our babies and neglect ourselves."

Wang Jing also added: "Yes, we should learn more from you in the future. After all, you are a veteran and have much more experience."

The sunlight outside the window gradually softened, and the light inside the room became warm and peaceful. The babies seemed to sense this harmony as well, falling asleep peacefully in their mothers' arms, their little faces filled with satisfied smiles.

"Time flies! We've been chatting for so long." Mother Li looked at her watch and stood up. "I've gained a lot today. We should get together more often and talk."

Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao also stood up and walked Li Ma to the door. "Of course, I look forward to seeing you next time!"

With a farewell, Li's mother slowly left, pushing the stroller, leaving behind a room filled with warmth and hope. Wang Jing and Su Xiaoxiao smiled at each other, their hearts filled with hope and confidence for the future.
