Chapter 132: An Outburst of Joy

In the hospital corridors, the lights are soft and warm, the air is filled with the faint smell of disinfectant, and the occasional cry of a baby intertwines to form a unique picture of life. In this busy yet hopeful place, every corner seems to tell a story of life.

Renault stood outside the delivery room, his hands clenched, his eyes a mixture of nervousness and anticipation. His heartbeat quickened with each passing second, almost as if he could hear the pounding of his blood. He glanced at the closed door from time to time, silently praying that everything would go smoothly.

Finally, the door slowly opened, and a doctor in a white coat emerged, a gentle smile on her face. She removed her mask, her eyes filled with relief and joy after exhaustion. "Mr. Renault, congratulations, it's a girl." The doctor's voice was gentle yet powerful, as if a single word could dispel all the anxiety of waiting.

When Renault heard this, he felt as if struck by an invisible force. His heart skipped a beat, and then an indescribable joy washed over him. His eyes lit up instantly, and the corners of his mouth cracked into a wide smile. That smile contained so many emotions: surprise, excitement, happiness... He could hardly believe his ears, but he was certain of it.

"Great! I have a daughter!" Renault couldn't help but shout out, his voice trembling with the intensity of his excitement. He leaped, his feet off the ground, his arms raised high as if to embrace the world. In that moment, all his tension and worry vanished, leaving only pure joy and an endless anticipation for the future.

The people around him were touched by this sudden joy, casting curious and well-wishing glances. Some patients smiled, while family members chatted quietly, sharing this rare joy. The atmosphere in the hallway lightened with joy because of Renault's leap, and even the air seemed to be filled with a sweet scent.

An elderly woman in a wheelchair, her hair graying and her face marked by the traces of time, smiled brightly. She gently patted the hand of a young woman beside her and whispered, "Look! This is the miracle of life! What a beautiful moment!" The young woman nodded and smiled, her eyes sparkling with longing for the future.

Not far away, a young couple was holding their newborn baby. They were also attracted by Renault's joy. The father whispered to his mother, "Look how happy that father is. I hope our child can bring us such happiness." The mother smiled gently, her eyes full of deep love for her child.

After landing, Renault was still immersed in great joy. He turned to look at the people around him, wanting to share this happiness with everyone. "Thank you, everyone, thank you for sharing my joy!" he said loudly, his voice full of gratitude.

The doctor looked at him with a smile, a hint of relief in his eyes. "Mr. Renault, you can go in now to see your wife and daughter. They are waiting for you."

Upon hearing this, Renault nodded quickly and walked briskly towards the delivery room. Before entering, he paused and glanced back at the people in the corridor. Their smiles and blessing eyes filled him with warmth and strength. He took a deep breath and silently said to himself, "I will be a good father. I will love my daughter with all that I have."

Pushing open the door, the delivery room was warm and peaceful. His wife lay on the bed, her face pale but radiant with maternal energy. In the crib beside her, a tiny being slept peacefully: his daughter, his little princess. Renault gently walked to the bedside, knelt, and cautiously reached out, gently touching his daughter's tiny hand. At that moment, his heart melted completely, all his hardness and defenses crumbling before this tenderness.

"Welcome, my little baby." Renault whispered, his voice full of tenderness and firmness.

His wife looked at him with a smile, tears in her eyes, tears of happiness. "Look, she is so beautiful."

Renault nodded, tears welling up in his eyes, but he didn't let them fall. He knew that from today on, his life would be different because of this little life, and he would spend his whole life protecting her and loving her.

At this moment, there was a slight noise outside the door. It was the people who had just been infected by Renault's joy. They were standing or sitting, silently watching this heartwarming scene through the glass windows on the door, with blessing smiles on their faces.

"What a happy family," a middle-aged man whispered, his wife holding his hand tightly, her eyes full of approval.

"Yes, I hope their daughter grows up healthy and happy." Another lady responded, her voice full of sincere wishes.

Renault looked back through the glass window and saw those blessing eyes, and a warm current surged in his heart. He knew that although the world is full of challenges, as long as there is love, there are infinite possibilities.
