Ultraman Tregear

Chapter 76 Naomi's Request

After a heart-wrenching battle, Orb ultimately transformed into a dazzling particle of light, dissipating into the vast universe. Hong Kai silently landed at the spot where Juggler had fallen, his eyes filled with sorrow and determination. "I have avenged you, Juggler," he whispered softly, a single, glistening tear slipping silently down his face before landing on his trembling hand. The tear, seemingly scorching hot, instantly burned his skin, and his heart ached as if seared by fire.

The complex smile Jagger wore as he collapsed replayed in his mind. It was like a sharp sword, piercing Hongkai's heart. The beautiful moments they had shared, thousands of years ago, flowed through his mind like an ancient scroll. Back then, they had adventured together, laughed together, and faced countless challenges together. But when did their relationship change so drastically, turning sword against sword?

Was it after that horrific supernova explosion, which destroyed countless lives and hopes, and sowed a deep rift in their hearts? Or was it when Juggler resolutely chopped down the Tree of Life on Planet Ganon? In that moment, their positions seemed to diverge, with the former companions now standing on opposing sides. Or was it when the light of O50 chose them over Juggler? From that moment, the gears of fate began to turn, leading them down different paths.

At this moment, on Earth, when Naomi saw Hong Kai, he was sitting alone on the stairs at the entrance of the SSP. The sun was shining from behind him, and against the light, it was difficult to see the expression on his face. However, just from his lonely figure, one could feel the aura of loss emanating from his body. Hong Kai slowly raised his head, and Naomi met his lifeless eyes. Those eyes, once full of determination and courage, now only contained endless confusion and sadness. "What's wrong with you, Kai-san?" Naomi asked softly, her voice full of concern. Hong Kai looked at Naomi with a dull look, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, and he forced a bitter smile. "I seem to have lost him." His voice was low and hoarse, like a sigh from the depths of his soul.

Meanwhile, aboard a spaceship in outer space, the Mefras were gloating over their own triumphant fantasy. "Jigura wasn't all that great. Even though he couldn't defeat Ultraman Orb and even lost to Ultraman Knuckle, it wasn't a loss. How could I possibly give up this ultimate trump card? Hahahaha! Hahahahaha!" His laughter echoed through the empty spaceship, filled with arrogance and conceit.

However, just as he was laughing uncontrollably, a sword-wielding figure, like a demon from hell, quietly appeared before him. The figure exuded a powerful aura that sent shivers down his spine. "How are you still alive, you bastard? The Nakkel clearly shot you in the heart!" Mevlana's eyes widened in disbelief. Garugula silently raised a card—Space Monster Bemundstan. The Mevlana, enraged, launched a laser beam, but Garugula easily blocked it with his Serpent Heart Sword.

The smoke gradually dissipated, and sparks slowly fell behind him. Jagger tilted his Serpent Heart Sword slightly, its face reflecting the face of the Unreal Demon. His expression seemed to contain a mixture of disdain and mockery. "That's how you outsmart yourself, Nostra. Your time is over." With the sweep of the Serpent Heart Sword's Crescent Slash, a powerful light instantly enveloped the "great" Mefilas. Faced with this overwhelming force, Mefilas was powerless, and his reign ended at that moment.

A streak of purple light flew into Juggler's hand, and Ultraman Belia's card appeared before him. Juggler looked at the card and smiled an ambiguous smile. Perhaps that smile held the joy of victory, perhaps anticipation for the future, or perhaps a nostalgia for the past.

Back on Earth, Hong Kai stared at Naomi in shock, as if he couldn't believe his ears. "What did you say?!" His voice was filled with surprise and confusion.

"Be my boyfriend, Hong Kai!" Two clattering sounds were heard as Asen and Zenta sat down on the ground. They were so shocked by Naomi's bold confession that they sat down on the ground with disbelief on their faces. Naomi ignored the two little followers who sat down on the ground in shock. She stared at Hong Kai with anticipation in her eyes. "Please! You're the only one I can ask for help!" She said again, with a hint of pleading in her voice.
