Spoiled after marriage

Chapter 1: Kicked Out of Bed on the First Day of Wedding

September in Rongcheng is still very hot. It seems that this year's summer is reluctant to leave, just like Xia Kui doesn't want to go home.

There are two major families in Rongcheng, the Shengxia family and the Xia family, who have been friends for generations and have business cooperation.

But Xia Kui never thought that she, a collateral relative of the Xia family, could marry into the Sheng family.

Xia Kui, who was still in class on Monday, received a call from her father, asking her to come back and marry Sheng Yan, the eldest grandson of the Sheng family and the president of Changsheng.

Xia Kui had no classes in the afternoon, so as soon as she got home she asked her father, "Shouldn't the marriage be arranged for my great-grandfather's family? Why isn't it my turn?"

In the president's office of Changsheng Group, the man sitting at the desk is 186 years old, with almond-shaped eyes, handsome features, and is cm tall. He is Xia Kui's marriage partner, Sheng Yan.

Sitting on the sofa was his childhood friend Gu Jun. The man crossed his legs and said leisurely, "I heard that the old man wants you to marry a beautiful university teacher." He smiled gloatingly after saying this.

Sheng Yan paused typing on the computer, his eyes raised, "It's just a few more people to feed. The Sheng family can afford it."

Gu Yun said jokingly, "Who knows, maybe she'll like it."

Sheng Yan pursed his lips and said nothing. The two of them were not discussing.

Xia Kui also knew that generally speaking, a phone call to notify her to come back was basically a done deal, and she only needed to act as a tool to go through the motions and tie the two families together.

Sheng Yan was quite busy, so a week before the wedding, the couple finally met for the first time.

The two of them met at a coffee shop after Xia Kui got off work. Xia Kui was wearing a light-colored suit, and Sheng Yan was wearing a black suit. They sat facing each other, not discussing marriage, but negotiating.

Xia Kui raised her eyes and met his almond-shaped eyes. Sheng Yan held the coffee cup lightly in one hand and looked at the woman opposite with inquiring eyes.

Xia Kui is 1.68 meters tall, which is considered tall among girls. She doesn't wear any jewelry, has long straight black hair, fair skin and beautiful looks.

There was a brief silence of two minutes, with no one speaking. Xia Kui also glanced at him and summed it up in three words: Quite handsome.

Sheng Yan spoke first, "What do you want to say?"

Xia Kui calmly replied with two words "No"

This was the first time Sheng Yan met someone who was even less talkative than himself. He couldn't help but look at her again and summed her up in three words: pretty.

Seeing that she didn't say anything, Sheng Yan said again, "Let's get the certificate tomorrow."

Xia Kui just nodded this time. She had no say in the matter anyway, so it was good enough that she could come.

Sheng Yan paused holding the cup, then slowly raised it and took a sip. "Do you not want to get married or do you not want to talk to me?"

"Can I say all of them?" Xia Kui said directly.

Sheng Yan chuckled. It was really interesting. "That's mutual," he said, and left without looking back.

Xia Kui cursed him in her heart. He really thought he was a boss.

The next day, the two got their marriage certificate. In the photo on the certificate, the man was handsome and the woman was beautiful, but neither of them smiled, as if they were forced to get the certificate.

After leaving the Civil Affairs Bureau, neither of them spoke a word, and left in opposite directions, one on the left and the other on the right. They were like a newlywed couple who were strangers to each other.

When it comes to the wedding, the two parties involved are like outsiders and go about their business.

Everything was arranged by the elders of both sides. Shengyan's grandfather had always hoped that his grandson would get married and have children as soon as possible to continue the Sheng family's bloodline, and it would be best if he could have a great-grandson next year.

Unfortunately, Sheng Yan didn’t think so. For a woman he didn’t like, it was just a matter of having an extra pair of chopsticks.

The two major families, the Sheng and Xia, were getting married. All the important people in Rongcheng came. The wedding was luxurious and grand, and the house was full of guests.

There was no joy on the faces of the newlyweds.

Sheng Yan was wearing a high-end custom-made groom's suit and looked tall and slender, while Xia Kui was stunningly beautiful in a white wedding dress. Everyone who saw them praised the perfect match of talented man and beautiful woman.

When exchanging rings, Sheng Yan picked up the ring and looked at the new wife chosen for him by his grandfather.

Xia Kui was beautiful. She was wearing a one-shoulder wedding dress, and her delicate collarbone and fair neck and shoulders dazzled his eyes.

In this wedding of the century, everyone was an actor, especially the newlyweds, who exchanged rings with smiles on their faces, and the emcee made passionate declarations of love.

After the ceremony, Xia Kui felt so tired that she almost passed out. She was the only one in the festive bridal chamber, and Sheng Yan was still toasting with her.

She wanted to change her wedding dress; it was too tiring. After all, it was an arranged marriage, and her husband wouldn't be looking forward to coming back to see her as a beautiful bride.

Xia Kui changed her clothes and washed up early. When Sheng Yan came back and leaned against the door, she saw a woman in pajamas lying on the head of the bed, drowsy.

Sheng Yan was still in his wedding attire, and he seemed to be slightly drunk. Xia Kui was awake, looking up at the man who walked into the bridal chamber, waiting for him to speak.

Sheng Yan sat down and asked, "Mrs. Sheng, let's talk."

Xia Kui seemed even more aloof than him, "You say"

Sheng Yan raised his eyebrows, "You don't have to look like I'm going to do something to you. I'm not interested in you. Playing hard to get is useless."

"Same here, you think too much." Xia Kui thought to herself, you are really narcissistic. Sheng Yan caught the contemptuous corner of her mouth and curled his lips slightly.

The two of them negotiated terms, one sitting at the end of the bed and the other leaning against the headboard.

The couple said it very well: they are husband and wife outside and neighbors at home, they respect each other like guests, and life is like a play, and it all depends on your acting skills.

And sleeping in separate rooms!

"You're overthinking it again. I don't want to sleep with you." Xia Kui couldn't help but roll her eyes. Sheng Yan handed her a card and said, "This is your pocket money." He was very generous with this, giving her one million a month.

Seeing that Kasha Kui took it without hesitation, she liked this kind of husband who was handsome, paid and didn't need to sleep with her. She even wanted to give him a certificate of being a good husband.

Sheng Yan saw her smile and was attracted by the money.

"Okay, get out. I'm going to sleep." Sheng Yan immediately drove her away. Looking at the girl lying motionless on the bed, he raised his eyebrows and said, "Hmm?"

"This bed is mine, you go to the second bedroom to sleep." Xia Kui also drove him away without any hesitation.

Sheng Yan: “…”

"Mrs. Sheng, I need to remind you that I have the final say here."

"Then I'll tell you too. Now I have the final say on this bed!" After saying that, he lay down to sleep, not forgetting to say, "Remember to turn off the lights when you go out."

……

Just as the two were fighting over a bed, the housekeeper came up and said that Mr. Sheng had arrived.

Sheng Yan hurried downstairs, but he didn't expect that his grandfather came to give him a task: to give birth to a baby as soon as possible!

The old man gave a strict order, asking him to go up and consummate the marriage as soon as possible, not to neglect the bride, and it would be best if she conceived a great-grandson within six months.

……

Sheng Yan walked upstairs with a reluctant look on his face, only to see that the lights in the new room had been turned off. He could even hear the even breathing sounds on the bed.

Fell asleep?

In fact, he was quite tired. He glanced at the person on the bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Xia Kui, who had a good night's sleep, woke up very early. She stretched and wanted to lie down for a while. She went to bed early and didn't know where Sheng Yan went to sleep.

I was just thinking about how I touched something hot when I heard Sheng Yan's lazy voice in my ear, "Have you touched enough?", with a bit of a bad temper.

"Huh?" Why is it Sheng Yan's voice? Xia Kui looked up hurriedly and found that he was looking at her, with her hand on his chest.

"Ah!" Xia Kui screamed and kicked him off the bed, "Sheng Yan, you hooligan!"

Sheng Yan: ...
