Could this be northern Myanmar? Chi Li's heart rang with alarm. She took two steps back, wanting to warn He Youqian.

He Youqian smiled sweetly. She held the man's hand and said in a coquettish voice, "Senior Jiang Ze, you are so handsome and charming!"

"Thank you. Could your friend please hand over his phone?" Jiang Ze said gently.

He Youqian glared at Chi Li: "What are you doing? Didn't you hear what the senior said?"

He Youqian's plane had been taken away by Jiang Ze's men. Chi Li gritted her teeth and put her cell phone in the box.

"Lao Hei, take this lady to her room." Jiang Ze took He Youqian's hand and walked away.

Lao Hei, the dark-skinned burly man who collected the phones, said, "Let's go!"

Chi Li followed him and observed his surroundings. She smiled and said, "Dude, you're so handsome. Give me your phone! How about I give you all the money I have?"

Lao Hei looked Chi Li up and down. He didn't say anything, but let out a mocking sneer from his nose.

"I admit that I'm dressed a little poorly, but my friends are super rich." Chi Li continued chattering.

Lao Hei didn't bother to pay attention to her. He opened the car door and looked at Chi Li: "Get in!"

"Ah? We still have to take a car. Your island is really big. It should be as big as half a city." Chi Li asked.

Lao Hei didn't say anything and drove calmly.

What a waste of saliva! I'm a little thirsty now. Chi Li closed her mouth helplessly.

The car drove for half an hour and stopped in front of a tall house that looked like a B&B.

Chi Li was attracted by the busy figure behind the cart at the door. She walked forward and turned her head to look at the man's face.

"Bai Zhenxi? It's really you. What are you doing?" Chi Li was surprised to see an acquaintance.

The man who was beating eggs looked up. There was no expression on his handsome face, and his dark blue eyes seemed to be frozen, dull and wooden.

Chi Li felt that something was wrong with him, so she stretched out her hand and waved it in front of his eyes: "Bai Zhenxi, can you pay attention to me?"

Bai Zhenxi stood there motionless like a wooden log, his eyes fixed on the spot. After a long pause, he stumbled over his words, "Want to...buy...egg fried rice?"

"Ah?" Chi Li then saw the words "Egg Fried Rice" written on the cart in front of Bai Zhenxi.

Lao Hei scratched his head and asked doubtfully, "Do you know this fool?"

"Fool? Bai Zhenxi, don't scare me, how did you become a fool?" Chi Li was shocked. She was thinking, if Bai Zhenxi became a fool, could she still date him?

"He was a fool when he first came here a year ago. I heard that he was highly educated. I don't know how he became so stupid." Lao Hei sighed.

Chi Li had already accepted the reality. She was indeed hungry. "One, please! How much?"

"Five dollars." Bai Zhenxi said lifelessly and continued to beat eggs with his head down.

"So cheap?" Chi Li took out five dollars and put them in the box on the cart.

Lao Hei took Chi Li's suitcase out of the car and said, "Since you know him, you can live across from him!"

Chi Li took the fried rice cooked by Bai Zhenxi, gave him a complicated look, and followed Lao Hei into the house.

There was a very long corridor with many rooms on both sides. Chi Li followed Lao Hei to the innermost part. She took the key from Lao Hei and opened the door.

"You're going to put me in jail? I'll really go crazy."

Chi Li screamed as she looked at the small room without even a window.

Lao Hei frowned and said, "What are you yelling for? Having a bed is good enough. There are only you and Xiao Bai in this house, so it's pretty safe."

"So many rooms are empty?" Chi Li found it unbelievable.

"Yes, it's empty." Lao Hei said firmly, but a quick light flashed across his eyes.

"Where is my friend? Where does she live?" Chi Li asked.

"She is the daughter of the richest man, of course she lives in the VIP room," said Lao Hei.

Chi Li looked at the only remaining bed in the room she was in and asked, "What kind of room is this?"

"Of course this is a room." Lao Hei answered the question irrelevantly.

Chi Li was speechless. She grabbed her hair and started brainstorming.

Lao Hei told Chi Li where to eat and where to find the supermarket, then left.

When in doubt, Chi Li would just sleep. She finished the fried rice in her hand, locked the door, and fell asleep on the bed.

There was no cell phone and no clock in the room, so when Chi Li woke up she didn't even know what time it was.

She opened the door. The corridor was dark and eerily quiet. She walked to the room opposite and knocked on the door, but no one answered.

Bai Zhenxi is not here. Is he still selling fried rice outside?

Thinking of this, Chi Li decided to go outside to take a look. When she passed through the dark corridor, she seemed to smell a smell of blood, and her body shivered involuntarily. She didn't know if it was an illusion.

Don’t scare yourself. Chi Li hugged her arms and quickened her pace to run out.

After running out, she saw the silent figure at the door, and Chi Li finally breathed a sigh of relief.

She ran to the stall and this time looked at Bai Zhenxi carefully.

He was wearing a loose grey hoodie, paired with comfortable sweatpants and a pair of sneakers, looking very fresh. In the smoky aroma of fried rice, Chi Li always felt that she could smell the refreshing scent of lemon soap on the other person.

"Do you want to... buy some fried rice?" Bai Zhenxi noticed her and asked haltingly.

Chi Li sighed. She felt that this world was simply the beginning of hell: "Give me one!"

"Silly, give me some fried rice."

A vulgar voice sounded, and Chi Li looked over and saw a man with a murderous look between his brows.

Chi Li noticed that there seemed to be a hint of dark stain on his black pants.

Was it blood? Or ketchup? Chi Li looked away, feeling uneasy.

"Beauty, what kind of business do you do? You are so pretty, are you from Building 3?" The man's eyes were filled with obscene intent.

Chi Li took two steps back and said, "I am a guest of Senior Jiang Ze."

The man looked away and smirked, "I see. I was mistaken."

Bai Zhenxi cooked two servings of rice. The man took one and threw a dollar into the cash box.

After the man left, Chi Li asked, "Bai Zhenxi, you don't know what money is, do you?"

She took out a one-dollar bill and a five-dollar bill, and waved the one in front of Bai Zhenxi: "Brother Bai, how much is this?"

Bai Zhenxi's lifeless eyes followed the dollar and he said, "Five dollars."

Chi Li shook out another five yuan bill: "What about this?"

Bai Zhenxi: "Five dollars."

Chi Li was silent for a long time, then she said, "Will you really not go bankrupt like this?"

"Do you want to expand your business?" Chi Li said in a low voice, as if she had thought of something.

Bai Zhenxi took a moment to reflect on her words, then nodded: "To become bigger and stronger?"

"Come to my room and I'll teach you how to make your stall bigger and stronger."
