A faint blush gradually appeared on the man's face, as white as ice and snow. It was hard to tell whether it was due to shyness or anger.

Seeing how charming he was, Chi Li grew bolder. She even moved closer to him, gently sliding her hand across the back of his hand and saying, "I once met you in a dream. Your name is Bai Zhenxi, right? I never thought such a beautiful dream would become reality. Perhaps this is fate destined by heaven."

Bai Zhenxi felt a subtle, tingling current run through his body the moment Chi Li touched the back of his hand. This unfamiliar sensation left him somewhat bewildered, so he quickly swam to the side, his beautiful, deep blue tail waving, trying to maintain some distance from Chi Li.

"It hurts. I'm not a bad person. Why are you so far away from me?" Chi Li covered her heart and pretended to be sad.

Bai Zhenxi stared at her expressionlessly, his eyes as cold as ice. After feeling bored, Chi Li began to observe the surrounding scenery carefully.

She was surprised to find that she could still breathe freely in the water. This wonderful feeling made her excited and curious. She looked down and saw that the stone bed beneath her was as white as snow, smooth and delicate, like a fine work of art.

This underwater palace is truly breathtaking! The walls are inlaid with dazzling gemstones, the floor is covered with colorful corals, and the ceiling is adorned with countless pearls.

Chi Li's sight finally fell on Baizhenxi's scales. The faint blue light added a mysterious and dreamy atmosphere to the entire space.

"Why can I breathe freely?" Chi Li asked curiously.

Bai Zhenxi actually answered her, even though his tone was cold: "I swallowed a pearl for you."

"What's so powerful about pearls? By the way, I'd like to ask if your aquatic tribe has a water lotus?" Chi Li did not forget the purpose of her coming here.

"You are very presumptuous." Bai Zhenxi said coldly.

"Okay, I'll ask this question later. I have two friends who want to come down and play. Do you think it's possible?" Chi Li asked.

"This is not a place where ordinary people can come. Stop dreaming." Bai Zhenxi's tone was flat and there was no ups and downs in his voice.

Chi Li was a little worried about Lu Sen and Xiao Wu at the beach. It seemed that she had to complete this treasure hunt alone.

Bai Zhenxi looked at Chi Li who was distracted and said, "I have already told the clan leader about your situation. Whether you leave or stay depends on what the clan leader says."

"Are you worried about me?" Chi Li said with a smile.

"Stop joking." Bai Zhenxi was so angry at her impropriety that he turned around and swam away.

After Bai Zhenxi left with her tail wagging, Chi Li got down from the stone bed and wanted to walk around. Before she took two steps, a mermaid with a white beard and a green tail swam towards her from a distance. Two strong black-skinned mermaids followed her, who were probably guards.

"Hello." Chi Li greeted politely.

The older mermaid carefully identified Chi Li and suddenly bowed to her, saying in an extremely respectful tone, "Master Demon King!"

Chi Li was horrified. As a person without a script, she didn't know how to deal with the situation for a moment.

"Long time no see, haha." After a long time, Chi Li finally uttered a word.

"Please move to the main hall, Lord Demon King. If our young man Bai Zhenxi is negligent, please don't blame him." said the elf chief.

Chi Li followed the team leader and shook her head and smiled, saying, "He didn't neglect me. I quite like him."

The main hall was bustling with activity, as if one were in the middle of a grand carnival. Chi Li's eyes widened; she had actually seen an enormous pink jellyfish!

This jellyfish, a captivating pink, sways softly, creating a dreamlike scene. Even more surprising, this giant jellyfish can actually speak! Its voice is so gentle and melodious, like the sound of nature, truly captivating.

Chi Li was attracted by this wonderful sight and took a few steps closer to observe this amazing creature more closely. When she got closer, she found that the surface of the jellyfish was shimmering with a faint light.

"What are you looking at, you rascal," said the pink jellyfish.

"Don't be rude to the Demon King," the clan leader scolded.

The jellyfish shook its soft body in grievance and said, "I'm sorry, Lord Demon. You can do whatever you want to me."

Good guy, Chi Li exclaimed, good guy, the most charming is the most dangerous. Knowing this very well, Chi Li had no intention of taking action.

"Why did the Demon King suddenly come to the water tribe's land?" asked the chief after he sat down.

Chi Li also sat on the glass chair. She thought for a moment and said, "For me, it's nothing serious. I just want to take a walk around."

"I thought you meant to lift the seal? The punishment the water tribe has suffered has already..." The patriarch drank the wine in his hand bitterly, he looked at Chi Li and swallowed the unfinished words.

Punishment? What punishment? Chi Li really wanted to pry open the clan leader's mouth and force him to continue.

"Hey, a hundred years have passed..." The drunkenness was clearly visible on the patriarch's face. He sighed and was helped away from the table by a maid.

Chi Li's thoughts were in a mess. She had too many questions and didn't know what to do. She returned to the palace where she first woke up, lay down on the stone bed and closed her eyes.

If she is undecided, she might take a nap. Maybe she will have a clear mind when she wakes up!

Not knowing how long she had slept, Chi Li drifted off into a daze when she suddenly heard a slight noise. It was so soft and subtle that anyone else might not have noticed it, but with her current physique, she was able to detect this unusual sound.

She struggled to pry open her heavy eyelids and slowly opened her eyes, only to find that the palace, which was originally brightly lit, was now pitch black, and the strange noise became clearer and louder.

Chi Li listened attentively and soon determined that the source of the sound was Bai Zhenxi, who had come in at some point. In the dim light, she saw Bai Zhenxi standing in front of the table, seemingly fiddling with something.

Chi Li lay quietly on the bed, curiously tilting her head to observe his every move. Bai Zhenxi seemed dissatisfied with the object in his hand. After putting it back in its place, he picked up another object and made a gesture as if he was about to smash it down.

Looking at Bai Zhenxi's actions, Chi Li felt a chill at the back of his head for no reason.

Unable to sit still and wait for death, Chi Li threw back the quilt and suddenly sat up from the bed...

Bai Zhenxi was so frightened by the noise that the box in his hand dropped to the ground with a crisp sound. He stammered, "You...you...when did you wake up?"

Chi Li sneered, "Oh, I woke up when you were choosing a suitable weapon."
