"Gift?" Su Wanning looked at Bai Ye and saw him nod seriously.

"Yes, just consider it as your birthday present this year." Bai Ye said.

Su Wanning didn’t know when her original body celebrated her birthday, but her birthday had indeed passed a long time ago.

After confirming again and again, Su Wanning carefully observed the entire yard.

The yard is big, but the layout is simple. The layout of the house is similar to where she lives, but it is bigger than where she lives. There is a small pond in the yard with a few lotus leaves floating on the water.

There is a small pavilion not far from the pond, and there is a large open space on the western side of the house where you can grow some vegetables.

There is still a lot of room for development in the yard, so Bai Ye pulled Su Wanning through the main hall.

What she didn't expect was that there was a yard behind the house. The house only had three rooms, and there was a long corridor behind the house, which was next to a flowing river.

There is a tea table at the end of the corridor. Sitting there, you can clearly see the waterfall falling from the cliff in the distance.

This is a perfect place for retirement.

Su Wanning looked at Bai Ye in surprise, "Are you sure it's for me?"

Bai nodded, then pulled Su Wanning to the woodshed next to the kitchen. He reached out and pressed an inconspicuous stone beside him. A very light sound was heard. Su Wanning first thought of the mechanism in the treasury before. He looked carefully at every brick on the ground, but found nothing unusual.

Bai Ye directly pulled Su Wanning to a floor tile in the corner, took out a dagger, and stabbed it down in the corner of the floor tile. The floor tile bounced up directly, and when the floor tile was lifted up, there was a staircase leading down.

Thinking it was a cellar, she took out the night pearls she had collected from under the treasury one by one and placed them on both sides of the aisle to illuminate them.

"You actually have this kind of thing, where did it come from?"

"It was stolen from the national treasury." Su Wanning said bluntly, but Bai Ye rolled his eyes.

"If you said it came from the same place as what I ate before, I might believe you, but if you said it was stolen from the national treasury..." Bai Ye didn't continue his words. Su Wanning thought to herself: See, no one will believe her even if she tells the truth.

After lighting up the space, Su Wanning discovered that the space inside was very large, at least not less than the place with mountains of gold and silver under the national treasury.

It was not until she had looked through the entire cellar that Su Wanning felt that the gift Bai Ye had given her was a surprise.

There are four entrances and exits to the cellar. One of them is located on the floor tile in the corner of the woodshed. There is also one in the mezzanine of the master bedroom wardrobe, near the top of the mountain, and another one is halfway up the mountain.

Even if someone accidentally breaks in, they still have to pass through three mechanisms before they can get in.

What has always puzzled Su Wanning is why they didn't feel uncomfortable due to lack of oxygen after being inside for such a long time.

Thinking of this, Su Wanning asked directly.

Bai Ye pointed to the bamboo on top and said, "We thought about this when we built these."

Su Wanning nodded as if she understood, thinking that it would be safer to put the large amount of valuables in the house she had bought in the city.

Thinking of this, he and Bai Ye took a carriage to her house. Du went in alone and put all the silver she had put back into the space.

After walking out the door, he got on the carriage.

"I'm fine, let's go." Su Wanning said.

"Is this your house? Are there any valuable things inside?" Bai Ye supported his head with one hand and looked at several beggars squatting on the side of the street.

Su Wanning shook her head. "There's nothing inside."

Bai Ye looked at Su Wanning, "That must be because you've been too bold recently and someone is keeping an eye on you."

Su Wanning followed her gaze and saw the beggars. She remembered that the beggars were there the last time she came.

"It must be because I carried a box of silver ingots to exchange for silver notes during the Lantern Festival." Su Wanning said lightly.

"Then you are really brave." After Bai Ye said that, he waved the whip in his hand and let the carriage go to the house where Bai Ye was going to send her.

After the two men left, a group of people appeared shortly afterwards, including an official.

"Brother, she just left and I saw she didn't take anything with her. She'll have to share some of the things in the room with us."

"Don't worry, you'll definitely get some benefits after this is done." The officer glanced at the beggar who spoke. "Is there really a wall of gold bricks inside?"

The beggars all nodded repeatedly, "We saw it with our own eyes when we went in that night."

The officer walked over with a few people, reached out and knocked on the door, but when no one answered, he kicked the door open.

The beggar pointed in the direction of the storeroom and said, "Brother, that's the room."

As he said that, he walked over quickly and pushed the door open with force, but who knew that the door was not closed at all, and he stumbled and fell into the room.

"Brother, look..." Before he could finish his words, he saw that the room was empty and there was nothing in it.

The officer walked in and kicked the beggar on the ground. "Is this the wall of gold bricks you mentioned?"

The beggar on the ground stood up and looked around the room. "How could it be? We've been squatting there since we found out. We haven't left. Unless... that woman has some kind of magic and just took all the silver."

The officer was so angry at his words that he attacked him with both hands and feet.

"Witchcraft, I think you look like a demon. You made me come here for nothing. Pah."

After saying that, he walked out and saw two men in black standing at the door, with their arms folded and swords in their hands looking at them.

"What are you two doing here? Get the hell out of here." The officer looked at the two men unhappily.

The two looked at each other, and in the blink of an eye they both fell to the ground.

Then the two men tied the man up here temporarily, one guarded him while the other flew out of the yard.

Su Wanning and her partner returned to the house that Bai Ye had given her and put most of the valuables in the space into it.

Now there is only one floor in the space with a few boxes of silver and gold ingots for emergency use.

After the show, the two went back.

After being busy all afternoon, she was starving. Fortunately, Yue Shu and the others had already prepared the meal, and they had just finished eating and were ready to take a rest.

Zhan Beiwang walked up to Su Wanning and told her what had happened in the city.

"Thief?"

"Yes, they have all been caught and tied up in the yard. One of them is even wearing the uniform of an official."

Su Wanning raised her eyebrows. Bai Ye had just said that someone was targeting him today, and they took action right after that. It was just a matter of when did they discover the things inside.

"Go to the city and report them all to the police. Tell them that the banknotes we exchanged two days ago were stolen by a few people. Unexpectedly, they came to steal again and caught them red-handed."
