Peking Opera Cat: I Became A Zi's Brother

Chapter 63 Teaching Ah Zi to Cook

Mo Yun's heart seemed to be soaked by the continuous drizzle. Every time she saw her sister Mo Zi's increasingly haggard appearance, she felt as painful as being pricked by a needle.

"You're so tired, you should take a rest."

He knew very well that the mountain in his sister's heart was much heavier than anyone could imagine.

So, he chose to accompany her silently, interpreting his brother's affection and responsibility with his actions.

Two and a half days seemed like an eternity to Mo Yun.

He stayed by Mo Zi's side day and night, watching her sometimes frown in thought, sometimes groaning in pain, the pain in his heart was beyond words.

"I'm sorry, it's all my brother's fault. If I could always be by your side, you wouldn't be like that."

He gently wiped the sweat from her forehead and carefully adjusted the temperature and light in the room, just so that she could feel a sense of comfort and peace in this small space.

Finally, on that morning, when the first ray of sunlight penetrated the clouds and poured into the room, Mo Zi's body could no longer support him and he slowly fell onto the bed.

"Azi, what's wrong with you? Azi, don't scare your brother."

At that moment, Mo Yun's heart seemed to be hit hard, and all the worries and fears surged into his heart in an instant.

"Azi, lie down here for a while. I'll go get you a doctor right away."

But he did not panic. Instead, he quickly and calmly summoned a doctor and gave his sister a comprehensive examination and treatment.

Under the careful care of the doctor, Mo Zi gradually regained consciousness.

"Brother, Ah Zi really misses you! I will definitely listen to you from now on and never abandon me!"

When she opened her eyes and saw her brother's bloodshot yet gentle eyes, a warm feeling welled up in her heart. She realized that during these difficult days, it was her brother who had always been by her side, protecting her without leaving her.

"Brother, thank you for staying with me all this time and letting me be willful for so long."

This deep affection and kindness made her feel extremely warm and at ease.

As his body gradually recovered, the relationship between Mo Zi and Mo Yun also quietly changed.

She began to open her heart to her brother and share her joys, sorrows, anger and happiness as well as the changes in her inner world.

"Brother, I have done a lot for the sect today. I am now able to handle sect affairs."

"Today I went to that little stage and played the guzheng, and everyone praised me for my excellent playing."

"I was chosen as a representative today. I can perform on behalf of everyone. Everyone is very supportive and helpful to me."

Mo Yun patiently listened to every word of his sister and used his broad shoulders to support her.

On a warm afternoon, Mo Yun looked at his sister's increasingly cheerful face, and an idea came to his mind.

He knew that cooking was not just a life skill, but also a way to relax and enjoy life. So, he gently said to Mo Zi, "Azi, I want to teach you how to cook. This way, you can not only learn to take care of yourself, but also find joy and a sense of accomplishment in the cooking process."

Mo Zi's eyes flashed with surprise and anticipation when she heard this. She had never thought that her brother would make such a suggestion, but after thinking about it, it was indeed a good idea.

"Okay, I'm going to make something delicious for my brother too."

So she gladly accepted her brother's suggestion and started her cooking journey.
