The next day

"Well, it's already dawn. I was so happy with the pickled fish I ate yesterday! I must make it for Ah Zi when I get home. He'll definitely adore me to death. Haha."

After Mo Yun woke up, she started laughing foolishly.

"It's time to go, okay? Let's wash up and go say goodbye to them."

Mo Yun walked towards the bathroom

……

"Well, Mr. Mo, why are you carrying luggage? You look like you're leaving."

Xiaoke's mother was a little surprised when she saw me.

"Yes, I am a traveler. I want to see all the places in Cat Land and not stay in one place for too long. So I have come to say goodbye to you."

Mo Yun looked into the distance and said firmly

"Really? But you can say goodbye to Xiao Ke. The child has become less withdrawn since you came. Now he has become more happy and lively."

Xiaoke's mother requested

"Of course, well, I'm not in that much of a hurry. I've spent my life seeing everything in the world anyway."

Mo Yun looked at the direction of the sun and said

"But boss, is Xiaoke still playing outside?"

Mo Yun asked curiously

"No, she saw you cook such a good dish yesterday. She was a little interested and wanted to practice. Maybe she wants to cook it for you."

Xiaoke's mother said jokingly

"Haha, it's great that you're interested! But don't make it for me. Make it for my family. I'm just an ordinary passerby, it's not worth it for her to do that. People should have their own goals. Having goals is a good thing, but if they're not practical, then there's no point."

Mo Yun looked at the noisy scene outside and said

"Haha, really? Then I have to let her learn cooking skills. But Mr. Mo, come down, where are you going? Is there any place you want to go?"

Xiaoke's mother asked curiously

"I haven't. I'll just take it one step at a time. After all, for me, as long as I can see something that makes me happy and gives me insights into life, then this place is worth it to me."

Mo Yun did not speak out what was in his mind.

"That's great! When my daughter grows up and my husband and I retire, we must go out and see the world."

Xiaoke's mother said longingly

……

It's almost noon

"Hey, big brother, you're here. I made some new friends today and had a lot of fun. Hey, how did you get your luggage? Are you leaving?"

Xiaoke comes in jumping and skipping

"Yes, I'm leaving. I'm a traveler. I'm here to experience life and see the sights."

"Really? But Xiaoke can't bear to leave you!"

"Xiao Ke, this is for you. Take a bite. It's very sweet."

Mo Yun took out a string of candied haws and handed it to her.

"Mmm, it tastes good. Sweet on the outside and sour on the inside. So delicious."

Xiao Ke said with satisfaction

"Look, it's delicious, isn't it? Life is like taste. How can you know if you don't try it? So I go out to see the scenery of the world so that I can have a better understanding and experience. So don't be reluctant. You can treat me as a passerby and apply what I learned here to yourself."

Mo Yun touched her head and said

"Really? I remember that. Then, big brother, you can go now!"

Xiao Ke said with his back turned

"Really? Goodbye then."

Mo Yun took the things and left, but she turned back to look at Xiao Ke's back.

The shadow gets longer and longer, slowly disappearing around the corner

"I will catch up with you, Brother Mo."

Xiao Ke suddenly turned around and looked at his disappearing back and said

……

"Oh, I don't want to leave. I miss you so much! Xiaoke's voice. It reminds me of A Zi."

Mo Yun sleeps alone in the woods again at night

"It's ridiculous that I'm not like before. I'm so bored that I actually go out on adventures. Yearning for those unknown places is bullshit. I'd rather just make money honestly."

Mo Yun recalled the days when she went on adventures in her previous life

"What's the point of constantly separating and increasing the regrets in my heart? I only want to protect Ah Zi in this life. Hurry up and complete my mission! Stop doing those boring things."

Mo Yun slowly fell asleep

(The dream world is loading)

The first rays of sunlight in the morning filtered through the gap in the curtains, gently brushing my cheek and waking me from my deep sleep. As an explorer, I'm used to waking up during my journeys. Every awakening means a new beginning and a new challenge.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. While not luxurious, this motel room was incredibly cozy, a temporary haven, offering a moment of peace during a stormy journey. I took a deep breath of the fresh air, feeling grateful for this brief respite, a chance to gather my thoughts and prepare for the adventure ahead.

I stood up, walked to the window, and opened the curtains, letting the warm sunlight fill the room. The world outside was still bustling, people hurried by, and I was about to embark on another unknown journey. I gazed into the distance, my heart filled with anticipation and longing. I knew that there were secrets I longed to explore, scenery I had never seen, and dreams I wanted to pursue.

I returned to my bed and began packing. Each piece of gear had been carefully selected; it would accompany me across mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas, weathering storms and lightning. I carefully inspected each item, ensuring it was in top condition, knowing that on an expedition, even the slightest negligence could lead to unforeseen consequences.

My backpack was heavy, but I knew it held more than just my gear; it also contained my dreams, courage, and determination. I shouldered my backpack, left the room, and said goodbye to the hotel receptionist. The receptionist smiled and wished me a safe journey. I nodded, and a warm feeling welled up in my heart.

Leaving the hotel, I took a deep breath of fresh air, feeling the breath of freedom. I looked up at the sky. Beneath the blue sky and white clouds, I saw a vast world I was about to conquer. I took a step forward and embarked on a new journey.

Sleeping outdoors has become a daily routine for me. I enjoy the close connection with nature, the solitude and freedom that coexist between moments. During my travels, I met all kinds of people, some of whom became friends, while others were just passing encounters. Regardless, they left a mark on my life and enriched my adventures.

I firmly believe that as long as I have a dream in my heart, I will find a way forward. No matter how difficult and arduous the road ahead, I will bravely move forward until I reach the sacred place in my heart. Because I know that there is everything I desire—the unknown, challenges, growth, and self-transcendence.

And so, I continue to move forward, using my feet to measure the breadth of the world and my eyes to witness the wonders of nature. I look forward to the arrival of each dawn, because I know that it will be the beginning of a new day and a new adventure.

……

"Recalling these things again, the more I think about it, the more uncomfortable it becomes. Let's just keep moving forward."

Mo Yun shook his head

……

……

(P.S. Don’t take it too seriously, I mostly write from my own perspective. I write whatever comes to mind, and I hope I can be freer and explore. I don’t want to be confined to a certain place. Just think of this as a place for me to express myself, so I can let my imagination run wild and experience it! Thank you.)
