The Rebirth of the God of Law: The Lord of the God Realm

Chapter 84: Breaking the Crystal Ball Guardian (2)

Breaking the Crystal Ball Guardian (Part 2)

Amidst this nightmarish, chaotic flow of space and time, Carl, like a wise man steering the ship amidst turbulent waves, gradually dispelled the fog shrouding the mechanisms of this turbulent flow of space and time through his interpretation of the runes. Those ancient runes, like a mysterious nautical chart, guided him and allowed him to see a glimmer of hope in this chaotic and disordered world.

"Hey, elf, I think I've figured out the ropes of this turbulence! It's like solving a super-complex puzzle," Carl shouted excitedly to the elf, his eyes gleaming with confidence, a light that shone brightly against the colorful yet treacherous turbulence. His voice was clearly audible over the whistling wind, carrying a sense of pride that came from overcoming all odds.

The elf struggled to stay aloft beside him, flapping its wings as fast as a hummingbird. "Really? That's great, Carl! Will we soon be able to escape this hellhole and enjoy my favorite nectar?" The elf's eyes were full of anticipation, and his voice was filled with joy, like a child who had just heard good news.

Carl smiled and nodded. "That's right, but we still have to be careful. There are still many obstacles along the way." With that, he began to cast his spell, using his exquisite control of magic to find relatively stable nodes within the turbulent force of the turbulent flow. His movements were like those of a graceful dancer, his wand waving in his hand, each gesture precise and accurate. Magic flowed from his fingertips like a nimble silk thread, weaving and entwining in the turbulent flow.

He first released a trace of magic, like a tiny probe, letting it weave through the turbulent waters. This trace of magic was like a brave soldier, searching for a safe route through a dangerous battlefield. When it touched a relatively calm area, Carl could keenly sense it, like hearing a subtle call amidst the clamor.

"Look, little elf, there's a stable point over there. Let's go!" Carl shouted, and his body suddenly rushed in that direction. His figure drew an arc in the turbulent flow, like a meteor streaking through the universe, rushing towards the target. The little elf followed closely behind him, constantly shouting, "Wait for me, Carl! You're flying too fast, my little wings can't keep up!"

As they approached the stable node, the surrounding spacetime turbulence grew even more turbulent, as if unwilling to allow them easy passage. Powerful forces assaulted Carl, attempting to push him off his intended path. But Carl held the Icefire Sword firmly in his grasp. The icy and fire power of the blade resonated with his own magic, forming a resilient shield. Flames danced on the shield, like a group of cheerful elves fending off an enemy; the ice solidified into a solid barrier, repeatedly repelling the turbulent currents.

"Hmph, you want to drive me away? No way!" Carl gritted his teeth and said loudly, his eyes becoming more and more determined, revealing a determination not to give in.

When they successfully reached the first stable node, Carl breathed a sigh of relief. This node was like a safe haven in the storm. Although the surrounding turbulence was still roaring wildly, there was a strange calm here.

"Wow, we did it! It feels pretty good here." The elf flew around the node happily, a happy smile on its face.

"Don't be too happy too soon, elf, we still have a long way to go." Carl reminded, but he couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth. After all, this was an important step towards their goal.

Carl then continued searching for the next stable node. During this process, he needed to concentrate even more, as every move was fraught with danger. He was like an acrobat walking on a tightrope; any small mistake could send him plummeting into the abyss.

However, beyond the threat of spacetime turbulence, even more insidious spacetime traps lurk within. These traps, like black holes in the universe, are silent yet incredibly deadly. Hidden beneath the surface of turbulence, once triggered, they could trap Carl forever in a spacetime rift—a fate far more terrifying than death.

"Carl, look over there, that place that looks a bit strange, could it be a trap?" The elf suddenly said nervously, pointing to an area that looked ordinary but exuded a strange aura.

Carl followed the direction of the elf's finger and observed it carefully for a moment. "Well, it's possible. We have to avoid it. We can't touch this thing casually." He said seriously, a hint of vigilance in his eyes.

Just as they were carefully bypassing the suspicious area, a space-time trap suddenly appeared from the other direction. This trap was like a huge vortex, mercilessly swallowing up the surrounding light and emitting a creepy aura.

"Look out!" Carl yelled, grabbing the elf and quickly casting magic, trying to escape the sudden danger. His magic surged like a surging tide, propelling them away from the trap. But the trap's suction was too strong, and like prey trapped in a quagmire, they were slowly being pulled towards it.

"Carl, are we going to be sucked in? I don't want to be trapped in some crack in time and space!" The elf screamed in horror, its little claws tightly grasping Carl's clothes, its body trembling.

"Don't be afraid, little elf! We can definitely get rid of it!" Beads of sweat formed on Carl's forehead, but his gaze remained resolute. He increased his magical output once more, wielding his ice and fire sword simultaneously, using the power of ice and fire to disrupt the temporal and spatial forces surrounding the trap. The flames, like a furious dragon, charged at the trap, attempting to break its suction; the ice, like a sturdy chain, attempted to create a barrier between them and the trap.

Thanks to Carl's efforts, they finally got rid of the threat of the time and space trap. But this thrilling encounter made them more clearly realize that every step on the road to breaking the protection of the crystal ball is full of thorns.

"Phew, that was close! We have to be more careful with these traps." Carl said with lingering fear, his chest heaving violently. The struggle just now consumed a lot of his magic power.

"Yes, these traps are like naughty little devils, coming here specifically to cause trouble." The elf patted his chest and said, with a look of fear still on his face.

Despite the numerous difficulties, Carl had no intention of retreating. He and the elf continued to search for stable nodes in the turbulent space-time, dodging space-time traps and moving closer to the crystal ball. Every successful dodge and advance brought them closer to their goal, and Carl's determination to break the crystal ball's protection burned like a burning flame, growing stronger and stronger.

Throughout this challenging journey, Carl and the elf support and encourage each other, each a source of support in this chaotic space-time. Their figures weave through the turbulence of time and space, like warriors chasing light in the darkness. No matter how many difficulties and obstacles lie ahead, nothing can stop them from moving forward.
