The Rebirth of the God of Law: The Lord of the God Realm
Chapter 75 Relics of God
Relics of God
Carl's figure weaved through the mist, like a lone boat sailing a mysterious sea. Finally, the divine ruins loomed at the end of the mist. The ruins resembled a vast, ancient castle, yet possessed a sense of otherworldly wonder. Its walls were built of massive stones radiating a mysterious glow. Those lights seemed to speak of past glory, each streak a fingerprint of time. From the cracks between the boulders, a faint aura of divine power occasionally flickered, as if the ruins were quietly breathing.
"Wow, this is the ruins of God? It looks so cool, but also feels fraught with danger!" Carl couldn't help but exclaim, his eyes gleaming with a mixture of excitement and vigilance. He stood before the ruins, tilting his head slightly, surveying this magnificent and mysterious building. The wind whipped through his hair, bringing a touch of tension to the air.
Powerful divine forces permeated the ruins, weaving a complex web of obstacles and traps like living guardians. Some of this divine power transformed into blazing walls of flame, eerie hues: blue tinged with purple, purple with a hint of gold. Each flame resembled a ferocious demon, dancing freely across the walls, emitting a suffocating heat. The flames jostled and collided, crackling as if vying for first access to the intruder. Waves of heat spread outward, distorting the surrounding air. From afar, the scene resembled a burning, dreamlike sea.
"Hey, these flames look formidable, like the hair of an enraged fire spirit. I don't want to be roasted to a crisp," Carl said as he carefully skirted the wall of flames. His steps were light and cautious, feeling the heat of the ground with every step, fearing that a single careless move might trigger even greater danger. He leaned forward slightly, his eyes fixed firmly on the front, ready to respond to any unexpected situation.
Other divine powers formed a maze of swirling wind blades, like transparent wings, yet incredibly sharp. They whistled through the air, emitting a sharp whistle that sounded like the whisper of death. As the wind blades collided, blue sparks of electricity flew, illuminating the surrounding air with a flickering effect. The sparks lingered briefly in the air, like twinkling stars in the night sky, yet carrying a deadly threat. The wind blades spun at an incredible speed, forming a series of indistinct barriers, each like a merciless meat grinder, waiting for its prey to approach.
"If I enter this wind blade maze, I'll probably be chopped to pieces, reduced to a pile of magical minced meat." Carl frowned, trying to find a flaw in the maze. He slowly walked around the wind blade maze, his eyes fixed on the swirling paths of the wind blades, trying to find a pattern. His brows alternated between furrowing and relaxing, and he muttered analytical words from time to time, like a scholar focused on solving a problem.
Carl carefully searched for a safe path into the ruins, like an adventurer searching for treasure amidst a thorny rose bush. Each step was taken with extreme caution, as he channeled his divine power, sharpening his perception and not missing a single subtle clue. His divine power formed a faint aura around him, which shimmered subtly with his perception, like a sensitive detector.
Finally, Carl found a seemingly safe entrance. He took a deep breath and slowly stepped into the ruins. As soon as he entered, an ancient and mysterious aura washed over him, as if the torrent of time surged around him. The air was heavy and silent, and only the sound of his footsteps echoed through the empty ruins, like the sound of a great bell from history. Each step bounced off the walls, forming a strange rhythm, as if the ruins were both greeting Carl and warning him.
"This place is so quiet it's a little eerie, like all those old-timers are staring at me," Carl muttered softly, his voice resonating loudly in the silence. His eyes scanned the surroundings warily, his body slightly tense, ready to respond to any possible danger. His hand unconsciously clenched around his wand; it was his support in battle, and now it was his reassurance.
Numerous ancient artifacts lay within the ruins, suspended in mid-air or resting upon ancient stone platforms. A sword radiated a rainbow of light, its blade engraved with mysterious runes. These runes resembled flowing rivers of light, constantly shifting in shape, as if telling tales of ancient battles. A gentle halo enveloped the sword, like a sacred shield protecting its majesty. Occasionally, strange patterns flashed within the halo, resembling ancient emblems or mysterious seals. The sword's hilt was inlaid with a dazzling gem, its radiance reflecting that of the runes on the blade, making the entire blade appear even more magnificent and mysterious.
"Wow, this sword looks amazing! If I could get my hands on it, I might be able to defeat a bunch of little monsters." Carl's eyes lit up, and he involuntarily moved closer to the sword. His steps were eager, his eyes filled with desire. He reached out, wanting to touch the sword, to feel its power, but he stopped just before the halo touched, a wave of awe welling up in his heart.
There are also crystal balls scattered everywhere, each one seemingly containing a miniature universe, stars twinkling and spinning within, each imbued with mysterious power. Some crystal balls have tiny cracks on their surfaces, from which wisps of light leak, as if the universe is revealing its secrets. These rays of light drift through the air like silken threads, weaving together beautiful and mysterious patterns. Some patterns resemble mysterious magic circles, others the faces of ancient gods, each exuding a captivating charm.
Besides the artifacts, there are also numerous records of the power of the gods. Ancient scrolls lie spread out on the stone table, their pages shimmering with golden light, like a dancing flock of spirits. Carl has never seen these words before, yet he can sense the immense power and profound wisdom they hold. Each word is like a tiny sun, radiating a warm and mysterious light. The words seem to be connected by some invisible connection, echoing one another to form a series of mysterious scrolls, telling the legends of the gods.
"What the hell is this? It feels even harder than the most difficult spellbook in our academy." Carl scratched his head, trying to decipher the mysterious records. He leaned in close, his eyes fixed on the shimmering words, his brow furrowed, a look of confusion on his face. His fingers gently ran across the pages, trying to find some clue from the touch, mumbling to himself, as if in dialogue with the mysterious words.
However, Carl's intrusion did not escape the notice of the ruins' guardians. As he concentrated on the artifacts and records, a low rumble suddenly erupted from the ruins, like the roar of a sleeping beast awakened. The sound reverberated through the ruins like thunder, rippling dust from the walls and causing the ancient artifacts to tremble slightly, as if in fear of the impending battle.
"Hmph, outsider, you dare to trespass into the ruins of God! You will pay the price!" A commanding voice echoed through the ruins, seemingly coming from all directions, making Carl's eardrums buzz. The voice was filled with anger and majesty, and every word was like a hammer, hammering at Carl's heart.
Immediately, beams of divine power shot toward Carl from every corner of the ruins. Some resembled sturdy pythons, twisting their bodies as they pounced upon him. The python's body was composed of light, its scales clearly visible, each scale gleaming with a dangerous light. It opened its massive mouth, revealing sharp fangs, and from its mouth blasted smaller beams of light, like venom, toward Carl. Some beams resembled sharp spears, charging toward him with unstoppable momentum. The spear tips flashed with a cold light, as if they could pierce through anything. As they flew, the spears sliced through the air, emitting a sharp whistling sound, as if announcing their mission.
"Oops, it looks like I've been discovered! Can't you guys be a little more friendly?" Carl shouted, quickly casting a spell and conjuring a golden shield to block the beams. The shield trembled violently under the impact of the beams, its light flickering. Carl could feel a tremendous pressure coming from all directions. Every time the beam hit the shield, it made a deafening sound, like a hammer hitting a bell. Ripples appeared on the shield, like a calm lake being broken by a stone. Carl's body swayed slightly as the shield trembled, and he pushed hard against the ground, trying to steady himself.
"I won't be defeated so easily! I still have the secrets to explore!" Carl gritted his teeth, his eyes determined. He began to nimbly move through the ruins, dodging the beams while searching for ways to counter the guardians. His figure moved swiftly between the beams like a ghost. He leaped, rolled, each movement with impeccable precision, dodging one deadly beam after another. He kept a close eye on his surroundings, trying to find terrain he could exploit to avoid the attacks.
While dodging the attacks, Carl discovered that the beams seemed to follow a pattern. Their paths left faint streaks of light on the walls of the ruins. These streaks gradually formed patterns, as if guiding him. Some were circular, others triangular, intersecting and overlapping to form intricate patterns. These patterns seemed to hold some kind of message, and Carl felt as if he were deciphering an ancient code.
"Hey, this might be an opportunity!" Carl's mind raced. While dodging the attacks, he carefully observed the patterns, trying to find a clue to a breakthrough. His eyes were fixed on the streak of light, his brain racing, analyzing the patterns. An expression of excitement crossed his face, as if he had already seen the dawn of victory.
The guardian force seemed to sense Carl's intentions and intensified its attack. The beams grew denser and more ferocious, filling the entire ruins with light, as if it were daylight. New beams rained down like raindrops, some splitting into more branches mid-air, attacking Carl from all sides. The beams intertwined, forming a vast web of light that trapped Carl.
"Hmph, you want to stop me? No way!" Carl roared, his figure gleaming like a star in the light. He stubbornly resisted the attacks of the guardian forces and advanced deeper into the ruins, where more secrets awaited him. A more intense divine light erupted from his body, countering the surrounding attack beams. He swung his wand faster, muttering to himself as he cast various defensive and evasive spells. His eyes burned with an unyielding fire. In these perilous ruins, he was a fearless explorer, forging ahead courageously for truth and power.
Carl, like a fearless warrior, embarks on a thrilling battle against the powerful guardians of the Gods' ruins, a battlefield rife with danger and mystery. His every movement and expression is filled with tension and excitement, making this battle a magnificent magical feast that captivates the reader, as if they were themselves immersed in these perilous ruins, fighting alongside Carl.
