The test in the passage

Stepping into the secret passage is like entering a mysterious and dangerous maze. As soon as Carl and his allies entered, they felt the dangers coming towards them.

"Wow, this place looks like a bad-tempered wizard's playground. Dangers are everywhere." The elf said loudly after flying a quick circle in the air, his voice echoing in the passage with a hint of tension.

The walls of the passage seemed like living demons, periodically flashing with blinding lightning, followed by bolts of lightning that lashed towards them like angry silver snakes. Meanwhile, the ground itself held a hidden mystery. Beneath the seemingly ordinary sand lay hidden quicksand traps, like hungry mouths, ready to devour them at any moment.

"Everyone, be careful! These lightning bolts are formidable. If we get hit, we'll be roasted like birds!" Carl warned loudly. He quickly pulled out his crystal ball and concentrated his mind to mobilize its power of space and time. The crystal ball emanated a soft, mysterious light in his hand, extending like nimble tentacles toward the walls of the passage. With the power of space and time, Carl seemed to be able to see the timeline of the lightning strikes, and he calmly directed everyone to dodge.

"There's lightning on the left, quickly dodge to the right!" Carl shouted.

"Hey, this feels like a crazy game of dodge, but the cost of losing is a bit higher," an ally said as he nimbly jumped to the right, narrowly avoiding a passing lightning bolt.

The situation was equally critical when facing a quicksand trap. When someone unwittingly approached, the quicksand began to surge, emitting a powerful suction force. Without hesitation, Carl donned the Star Gloves. The star power within them shone like a brilliant galaxy. With a powerful wave, the star power enveloped the quicksand trap, stabilizing the surrounding space. The formerly frantic quicksand ceased its surge, as if under a spell of immobilization.

"Thanks to these magical gloves, otherwise I would have been swallowed by the sand, and I would really have become a part of the desert." Lina said with lingering fear. She patted her chest and looked at Carl with gratitude.

However, this is only the beginning. The passage is also dotted with puzzles about the history of the desert and divine power. These puzzles are like solid gates blocking their way forward. Each puzzle is like a mysterious code left by an ancient desert civilization, waiting for them to crack.

Carl stood in front of a puzzle, which was a mysterious pattern carved on the stone wall of the passage. There were all kinds of strange symbols and graphics in the pattern, which were intertwined and dazzling.

"This looks like graffiti left by aliens. I can't understand it at all." An ally scratched his head and said helplessly.

"Haha, don't worry, let's work together to unravel the secrets of this alien graffiti." Carl said with a smile, his eyes full of concentration. He used the rich knowledge accumulated from his previous adventures and his innate wisdom to carefully analyze every detail of the pattern.

The allies also gathered around and started discussing the matter.

"Look, this symbol seems to be similar to the one we saw in the desert ruins before."

"Yes, and this pattern, could it be related to the flow of divine power in the desert?"

As everyone was discussing heatedly, the Ice and Fire Sword in Carl's hand trembled slightly, and the mysterious power on the sword seemed to convey some information to him. That mysterious power was like a breeze, blowing away the fog in Carl's mind and providing him with some key ideas.

"I understand! Look everyone, this symbol represents the source of water in the desert, and this shape symbolizes the origin of divine power. Let's combine them..." Carl said excitedly, his words like a key, unlocking the puzzle. As he manipulated the puzzle, a soft glow emanated from the stone wall, and one of the obstacles in the passage vanished.

"Great, Carl! You're like a walking treasure trove of wisdom." The elf flew happily around Carl and patted his shoulders with its little wings.

Thus, they journeyed through the passage. Carl used the crystal ball to dodge lightning strikes, the star gauntlet to counter quicksand traps, and with the help of his own wisdom and the mysterious power of the Ice and Fire Sword, he and his allies solved puzzle after puzzle. Each successful solution brought them one step closer to the passage's exit, and deepened their bond. In this passage filled with danger and challenges, they supported and encouraged each other, moving steadfastly towards the mysterious valley.

"I don't know what's waiting for us at the end of the tunnel. I hope it's not something more terrifying." An ally said with some concern.

"No matter what it is, we will face it together, just like we have always done." Carl looked ahead firmly, with a fearless light in his eyes.

Their figures continued to shuttle through the passage, and the sound of their footsteps echoed in this mysterious space, as if it was a battle song of the brave, playing in this adventure full of challenges.
