After strolling through the maple forest, the two went out for a midnight snack. It was almost ten o'clock when Xiao Hecheng sent Mo Yu home.

For a moment, everything in the world was eclipsed, leaving only him smiling in the bushes. Even from a distance, he could see her standing by the window.

"Go back!" she mouthed to him.

Xiao Hecheng smiled, waved, and turned to leave.

"Brother...you...when did you come back?" Ni Jiamu's sudden appearance really scared her, and when she saw his stern face, her panic became even worse.

Ni Jiamu took a step forward. "Who did you go out with today?"

"With Xiaoxiao, have you forgotten what I told you?"

"Oh, really? But right after you left, Lin Xiao came looking for you."

Mo Yu clasped her palms together. Although it was already winter, she felt extremely hot and sweat was already appearing on her forehead.

"I went to her house and saw no one there, so I went shopping on my own."
