Grandma Han looked up at the vegetable patch that Jiang Lijia pointed to, and reached out to pull apart the lush cucumber vines. Tempting and delicious little cucumbers appeared in front of Jiang Lijia. Jiang Lijia's favorite cold dish is cold cucumber salad.

"Grandma, how long will it take for these cucumbers to mature?" Jiang Lijia reached out and grabbed a small cucumber and asked Grandma Han.

Grandma Han glanced at the vegetable patch and said, "It won't be long. If you like it, I'll plant more next year!"

Jiang Lijia nodded excitedly when she heard that, but the smile on her face disappeared in an instant.

She had to go back to South City as her vacation was about to end.

Thinking about the next holiday, Jiang Lijia thought that she probably wouldn't be able to catch up with the ripening of these cucumbers.

"By the way, grandma, I have to go back to South City to continue my classes in two days. I will come back to see you during the next holiday." Jiang Lijia reached out and peeled off the vines that were blocking Grandma Han's way. Grandma Han strode out of the vegetable garden neatly.

"Okay, studying is important for you." Grandma Han was not surprised and answered Jiang Lijia's words very calmly.

It was another quiet night in the countryside. Jiang Lijia sat on the bed packing her luggage, thinking about how to tell Han Fangyuan about her plan.

She bit her fleshy lips with her pearly teeth, smacking them but not knowing how to start talking next.

"Hey, what are you worried about?"

Fang Li took a cucumber from somewhere and appeared in front of Jiang Lijia's room while chewing it. He leaned against the door frame and looked at Jiang Lijia, who was struggling beside the bed, with an amused look on his face.

The sudden voice behind her startled Jiang Lijia, and she turned around and glared at Fang Li. The aroma of her favorite cucumber filled the air, "What do you care!"

Fang Li was not surprised by Jiang Lijia's aggressive tone and sat beside her calmly. "Yes, yes, it's none of my business."

He habitually broke off the untouched half of the cucumber in his hand and handed it to her, "Hey, have a cucumber?"

Jiang Lijia snorted lightly, but still took the cucumber, took a bite in frustration, and chewed it with a crunching sound.

While refusing, I was worrying about how to start the conversation.

Fang Li pretended to be indifferent, but his eyes still fell lightly on Jiang Lijia's chubby face which was constantly fiddling with the food because of chewing, and a smile could not help but appear at the corner of his mouth.

But the cute cheeks didn't last long.

Fang Li secretly thought it was a pity. As expected, half a cucumber was too little for Jiang Lijia. Jiang Lijia finished it without eating a single bite.

After eating the cucumber, Jiang Lijia turned to look at Fang Li who was still sitting beside her bed, "Why did you come to see me?"

"I want you to take care of it!"

The expected answer was met with the expected eye roll. Jiang Lijia rolled her eyes at the man and stretched out her hand as if to chase him away.

"Who wants to care about you! Get out of here!" He said in a bad mood. He was already very upset, and this blind guy was the one who came to make things worse for him.

As he was pushing the person to the door of the room, he was caught by Grandma Han who came to call for help.

Although Grandma Han has not been exposed to too many new-age affairs, she does not interfere with the young people's free love affairs.

She took in the two figures, turned around and walked back to her room.

The two people at the door didn't notice Grandma Han walking away with a smile not far away.
