Your posture has the sorrow of two dimples, and your delicate body seems to be burdened by pain. There are tears in your eyes, and you gasp slightly. When you are quiet, you are like a delicate flower reflected in the water; when you walk, you are like a weak willow swaying in the wind. Your mind is more intelligent than Bi Gan, but your condition is as beautiful as Xi Shi. The word 'Pinpin' is the most appropriate, and it suits you exactly." As he said this, Baoyu showed a proud smile and looked at Daiyu expectantly, hoping that she would like this new name.

Daiyu blushed and neither said she liked it nor disliked it. She just said unclearly, "What a fool." Then she picked up her handkerchief and covered her mouth with her hands and laughed.

Jia Baoyu looked at Daiyu and felt a surge of joy in his heart. He thought Daiyu's smile was as beautiful as the peach blossoms in full bloom in spring. He then asked, "Sister Lin, do you think this jade of mine is beautiful?" As he spoke, he handed the spiritual jade to Daiyu.
