Coming to the StarCraft to Be a Kindergarten Teacher: Perfect Transformation
Chapter 72 "We Will Be Good"
Seeing the children's sad and self-blaming faces, I felt so distressed that I decided to tell them why Daphne had left. "Children, do you know that Principal Daphne was once a very powerful Imperial soldier?" I said proudly.
The children opened their mouths in surprise, their eyes sparkling with curiosity and admiration.
"She once fought bravely on the battlefield and suffered many injuries to protect our country and people." I gently stroked a child's hair, my tone full of respect for Daphne.
"Wow..." the children exclaimed.
"What happened next?" Lele asked in a low voice, his eyes full of anticipation.
"Later, the head teacher was too seriously injured to continue going to the battlefield. But she did not give up. Instead, she chose to come here and become our head teacher, taking care of and educating every lovely child like you." I explained gently.
The children were silent for a moment, with expressions of emotion and admiration on their faces.
"It turns out that the director is so great..." Zi Tong said softly.
"Yes, she is really amazing. So, when she felt that she could no longer take good care of you, she chose to leave. But her heart will always be here, with us." I said with a smile.
The children nodded in understanding and acceptance, tears glistening in their eyes.
"We will definitely be obedient and live up to the principal's expectations." Lele said firmly.
"Yes, we need to be braver and stronger," Carl agreed.
Seeing the children gradually smile again, I felt incredibly happy. Perhaps this is the power of growth.
"So, Principal Daphne didn't abandon us. She just needs to heal her wounds and make herself healthier so that she can come back and be with us better." I comforted her with a smile.
The children nodded to show that they understood.
I hope they can accept this fact as soon as possible, and I also hope that Principal Daphne will recover soon.
After explaining to the children why Principal Daphne left, and watching their brows gradually relax, I knew they had finally understood. Though young, these little ones are filled with kindness and tolerance. They've begun to accept this reality and try to understand it in their own way. I feel incredibly relieved, knowing they've learned an important life lesson from this experience: Changes in life are inevitable, but we can choose how to face them.
There was a strange light in Vaughan's eyes that we hadn't seen.
"Alright, kids, isn't it time to get ready for our morning exercise?" As soon as I finished speaking, the listless children, seemingly suddenly invigorated, instantly became full of energy. With brisk steps and bright smiles on their faces, they quickly ran towards the classroom door.
Although they moved at breakneck speed, they were always organized. The older children would look after the younger ones, helping them grab their clothes and water bottles; Yuyun and Xueni would patiently wait for Lele, ensuring she could keep up with the others. Watching all this, I couldn't help but marvel at the friendship and mutual support these children possessed.
When everyone came outside, the fresh air hit me, refreshing me. The children also excitedly breathed in the fresh air, as if to expel all the bad smells from their bodies. Their eyes were bright and full of anticipation, as if they couldn't wait to start their morning exercise.
The children stood neatly in a row, their heads held high and chests puffed out, exuding confidence and determination. I stood in front of them, smiling and saying, "Are you ready?" The children responded in unison, "Yes!" I then led them in some simple stretching exercises, such as head rotations and arm stretches, to gradually acclimate their bodies to the exercise. As the music played, the children's movements became increasingly fluid, their small bodies brimming with energy.
Looking at these adorable children, I sensed their deep love for life and their vision for the future. Their innocent smiles and positive attitudes touched everyone around them, moving them deeply. As a teacher, I think it's such a blessing to witness and guide their growth!
"Let's play a new game today!" I announced excitedly.
The children cheered immediately, their eyes sparkling with anticipation and curiosity as they gathered around, eager to learn what this new game was.
"This game is called 'Relay Race'. We will divide into two groups and see which group can run across the entire playground first! Now the teacher will tell you the rules of our game, and then the children will organize the activities on their own," I said.
When the teacher gives the order, the first person runs with the baton to the second member on the opposite side. The second member takes the baton and continues to run to the third member on the opposite side, and so on, until the last child.
The rules are as follows:
1. The next runner must wait until they receive the baton from the previous runner before running. They are not allowed to pass the starting line to receive the baton. Failure to do so will be considered a foul.
2. If the baton is dropped, the person who dropped it must pick it up and return to the spot where it fell to restart the race.
3. When preparing to start, if your feet step on the starting line or any part of your body touches the ground in front of the starting line, it will be considered a foul and your results will be invalid.
4. All participating teams must complete the baton handover in order and no team member may be skipped or omitted.
5. During the competition, athletes should maintain a good competitive spirit, abide by the rules of the game, and refrain from cheating. Any violation will be subject to appropriate penalties.
6. After the competition, the rankings of the teams will be determined based on the order in which they reach the finish line, and rewards will be given.
7. During the competition, the referee has the right to penalize violations and ensure the fairness and impartiality of the competition.
8. We hope that everyone can respect their opponents and referees, and work together to create a positive, harmonious and friendly competition atmosphere.
When I finished explaining the rules of the game, Abel grabbed Bailey and Yaheng, who were eager to split into groups. These two children were usually naughty, but they were unusually well-behaved in front of Abel. Abel quickly divided everyone into two teams:
Team 1: Vaughn, Ken, Lele, Zitong, Yaheng, Yuhan;
Team 2: Yuyun, Carl, Maggie, Bailey, Abel, and Xueni.
After Abel divided the teams, he gave the order and the competition officially began!
The children rushed out like arrows, holding the baton tightly in their hands, their eyes determined and full of passion. As they ran and passed the baton, laughter and cheers echoed over the playground.
Watching them running happily, my heart was filled with warmth. This little competition not only made the children forget all their worries, but also cultivated their team spirit and competitive consciousness.
On this beautiful morning, the children, with their energy and brilliant smiles, injected vitality and vigor into the entire campus. The sunlight shining on them formed a beautiful picture, which made people sigh at the beauty of youth.
