I chatted absentmindedly with Wei'er for a while. Neither Wei'er nor the other hospital staff showed any signs of abnormality, which got me thinking. Could it be that they really couldn't see the phone in my hand? If this was true, then this phone would be a huge advantage for me.

After all, if I were the only one in this strange interstellar world who could see and use this phone, it could become a key tool for me to communicate with the outside world, obtain information, and even solve problems. With this in mind, I decided to do some more experiments to verify my idea.

Over the next few days, I began to intentionally or unintentionally show my phone in various situations, observing the reactions of those around me. Whether in hospitals, on the street, or in stores, no one seemed to notice my "secret weapon." However, to be completely sure, I decided to test it with more people.

So, I began to actively communicate with more interstellar residents, trying to get them to notice my phone. Surprisingly, they still ignored my phone, as if it didn't exist. After many attempts, I was finally able to confirm that this phone was indeed only visible and usable by me.

This discovery excited me because it meant I had a unique ability to use this phone to access even more information and resources. Of course, while enjoying this advantage, I also had to be careful not to let anyone else discover my secret. Otherwise, if it caused unnecessary trouble or was exploited by someone with ulterior motives, the consequences could be disastrous.

While secretly celebrating my happiness, I also realized I needed to cherish this opportunity and fully utilize my phone to better adapt to this unknown interstellar world. At the same time, I also needed to remain vigilant and protect myself and my phone. After all, in this unfamiliar environment, any negligence could lead to unforeseen consequences.

After a series of experiments with my phone over the past few days, I've begun to delve deeper into the practical applications of the optical computer. Through it, I've gained a general understanding of the history of interstellar space. In the days that followed, I frequently used it to search for various resources and record any useful information. Over time, my understanding of the interstellar world has deepened.

By chance, I discovered that the camera function of my phone was still working properly, so I started using it to record everything around me, including beautiful scenery, unique buildings and interesting people.

That day, I was snapping photos of my surroundings with my phone, as usual. Suddenly, I spotted a familiar figure in the camera. Upon closer inspection, it was my neighbor, the welcoming Wei'er. My heart raced, and I quickly ran after her, wanting to say hello.

However, when I approached Wei'er, I noticed she looked a bit dazed. I asked her what was wrong, but she seemed not to hear me and continued walking on. Feeling a little strange, I was about to call her again when I saw her walk into a secluded alley.

I stood there, feeling torn. Should I follow and see what was happening? On the one hand, I worried this might be someone else's private matter, and barging in would cause them trouble. On the other hand, I was afraid something might happen to Wei'er, a girl walking into this dark alley all by herself.

After a fierce internal struggle, I decided to wait at the alley entrance for two minutes. If Wei'er didn't emerge by then, I would go in and look for her without hesitation. Time ticked by, each second feeling incredibly long. I anxiously stared at the alley entrance, hoping Wei'er would appear soon.

Finally, the two minutes were up, and Wei'er still hadn't emerged from the alley. My heart began to race, and a sense of foreboding washed over me. I couldn't wait any longer! I took a deep breath and walked back into the alley. The further I went, the dimmer the light, and the more oppressive the atmosphere. I moved forward cautiously, keeping a close eye on my surroundings.

Walking into the alley, I saw Wei'er squatting on the ground, crying. She was crying so hard, tears streaming down her cheeks. I approached her cautiously, gently patted her shoulder, and asked with concern, "Wei'er, what happened? Why are you crying here?"

When Weier heard my voice, she slowly turned around, hugged my waist tightly, and continued to cry loudly. As she cried, she said intermittently: "I met Doudou in this alley. It's a cute stray cat..." Her voice was full of pain and sorrow.

Wei'er then recounted the story. She said she heard a faint cry at the entrance of the alley and, curious, walked in to investigate. When she entered, she found a tiny kitten huddled in a corner. Its body was covered in scars and looked pitiful. It seemed extremely wary, and upon seeing Wei'er, it began to growl fiercely, trying to scare her away.

However, Wei'er was not scared off by the kitten's roar. She slowly approached it, spoke to it in a gentle tone, and repeatedly conveyed to it that she meant no harm. After some effort, the kitten finally let down its guard and gradually relaxed. But it didn't want to go home with me, so I had no choice but to come here to feed it every day, rain or shine. One day I came as usual, but that day was strange. I waited for a long time but didn't see it. Just as I was about to leave, I suddenly heard a faint voice. The voice sounded very weak, as if it was made with the last bit of strength. I walked in the direction of the sound, my heart filled with worry and anxiety.

Finally, I saw it. It was dragging its blood-soaked body slowly towards me from a short distance away. Its steps were unsteady and each step seemed incredibly difficult. My eyes widened in disbelief. Its once pristine white fur was now stained red with blood, and its body was covered in wounds, some of which were still bleeding. Its eyes revealed an endless pain and sorrow that was heartbreaking.

I was so anxious that I rushed him to the local veterinary hospital, but the doctors there said his injuries were too severe and they could do nothing more, so they had to transfer him to a more professional veterinary hospital for treatment. However, unexpectedly, when I went to visit him yesterday afternoon, he was apparently fine. But this morning, before I even got up, the hospital suddenly called me and told me that Doudou had passed away due to his injuries.

Heartbroken, I walked slowly towards the hospital, each step painful as if on the tip of a knife, as if the whole world had lost its color and vitality.

Arriving at the hospital, I trudged to the counter and silently handled Doudou's funeral procedures. Every step was a painful pain in my heart, as if a sharp knife was constantly cutting into it.

When I finally stood beside Doudou, watching it lying there quietly, my tears flowed uncontrollably like a flood. It was so small, so cute, and should have had an infinitely bright future, but fate had so cruelly deprived it of all that.

I couldn't accept this cruel truth, and my heart was filled with endless pain and despair. Doudou had once brought me so much joy and warmth, and his presence had made my life so fulfilling and meaningful. And now, he had quietly left me, leaving me in deep sorrow.

I gently stroked Doudou's soft fur, feeling its last bit of warmth, trying to imprint its image deeply in my mind. I knew this might be my final farewell to Doudou, and from now on, I would never see its lively and lovely figure again.

After the matter was settled, I walked out of the hospital in a daze, and before I knew it, I was at the place where I first met Doudou.
