Coming to the StarCraft to Be a Kindergarten Teacher: Perfect Transformation
Chapter 135: Journey to the Sun Star (End)
An hour later, the snowstorm died down, the dark clouds began to disperse, and the sun shone again. Wei'er and I leaned against the cliff face, gazing at the scene outside the cave, our hearts brimming with anticipation. Just then, a distant voice called out, "Miss Wei'er, Miss Sui'er, where are you?" It was the voices of the people from the spaceship rental company! Wei'er and I erupted in excitement, shouting, "We're here, we're here!" However, after waiting for two minutes, the voices suddenly died down. Our hearts sank in our throats again. Had they not heard? Or had something unexpected happened? Just as we were growing anxious, the man's voice echoed from outside the cave: "We've found them." Then, more figures appeared. It turned out to be the people from the spaceship rental company; they had finally found us. We excitedly stood up and approached them. "Are you all right?" the leading man asked with concern. "We're fine, just a little hungry," Wei'er replied. "That's good. Come back with us," the man said, leading us out of the cave. The entire journey down the mountain was silent, no one spoke. I could sense everyone's heavy hearts; this experience was undoubtedly a tremendous test for us. Back at the spaceship rental company, the staff immediately prepared hot drinks and food for us. We gratefully accepted them and found a corner to sit down, eating while awaiting further instructions. Wei'er and I sat opposite each other, her eyes somewhat hollow, as if still lost in the terror of the moment. I gently patted her hand and reassured her, "Don't worry, we're back safely." Wei'er nodded, but the worry in her eyes didn't dissipate. After eating, we rested for a while, finally regaining some energy. Then, the person in charge of the spaceship rental company came over and said, "Ladies, we've contacted your families, and they'll be coming to take you home as soon as possible. In the meantime, please rest well and let us know if you need anything." Wei'er and I nodded in gratitude. We were then led to a lounge to await our families' arrival.
Just then, a middle-aged man approached us with an apologetic look on his face. He was the owner of the spacecraft rental company. He bowed deeply, apologized, and explained, "This snowstorm is a once-in-a-century event, and we didn't anticipate its severity."
He pulled a slip of paper from his pocket and handed it to me. Puzzled, I unfolded it and saw a set of numbers written on it. He explained, "Due to our work error, we didn't monitor the weather in real time, which resulted in you not having a good experience this time. This is our compensation to you. I hope you'll accept it."
I looked at the figures carefully and found that the amount was quite substantial, enough for us to spend the next few days on the Sun Planet and the ship back to Ceres. I was a little surprised; I didn't expect them to make such a compensation.
Wei'er and I exchanged glances, each with an indescribable feeling in our hearts. We had originally been full of anticipation for this adventure, but we had encountered unexpected difficulties and dangers. However, now that we had received a substantial compensation, it seemed we had new hope.
Although this adventure was filled with danger and unexpected events, it also provided us with many valuable experiences and memories. We learned how to cope with unexpected situations, how to support each other, and how to overcome difficulties together. These experiences will become invaluable assets in our lives, making us stronger and more mature.
We accepted the compensation and gradually calmed down. Wei'er suggested, "Since we still have time, why don't we try some of the local specialties?" Her eyes sparkled, and she seemed eager to try. I readily agreed; after all, good food always makes you happy. So, with a brisk pace, we made our way to a restaurant at the foot of the mountain.
The waiter greeted us warmly and introduced the restaurant's signature dishes with a beaming smile. When they recommended the roasted whole lamb, our taste buds were instantly piqued. The golden, crispy crust and the alluring aroma seemed to beckon us. We ordered one without hesitation, eagerly anticipating the feast to begin.
Soon, the fragrant roasted whole lamb arrived. The rich aroma of the steaming meat made our mouths water. We eagerly picked up our knives and forks, slicing a piece of the tender, juicy lamb into our mouths. The tender texture of the meat melted in our mouths, leaving us intoxicated. Paired with a glass of fine wine, this delicious meal reached its peak.
As we savored the delicious food, we chatted about our journey. Laughter and conversation filled the restaurant. In that moment, we forgot all our fatigue and worries, focusing solely on the wonderful moment before us. As time passed, our strength gradually returned. After a satisfying meal, we left the restaurant, feeling satisfied and ready to continue our journey.
At this moment, a pleasant ringtone suddenly rang from Wei'er's computer. She quickly opened it and saw that it was a call from her family.
"Hello?" Wei'er answered the phone and her parents' worried faces appeared on the screen.
"Weier, mom and dad have arrived at the space station on Snow Star! We will soon take the nearest spaceship to Lieyang Star to see you!" Weier's mother said anxiously.
When Wei'er heard this, her heart tightened and she quickly said, "Mom and Dad, don't come over. We are all fine now and there is no problem."
Dad frowned and asked worriedly, "Really? Are you and Sui Sui okay? You can't hide this from us!"
Wei Er smiled and shook her head: "No, Teacher Sui and I are fine. It's just that when we reached the top of the mountain, there was a sudden storm. Later, we hid in the cave and were not hurt."
My mother still didn't believe it and asked, "Do you really not want us to go over and take a look?"
"Really, there's no need!" Wei'er answered affirmatively again, "We have already descended the mountain safely. The staff found us as soon as possible and compensated us. Now Sui Sui and I are sitting at the dining table enjoying the delicious roasted whole lamb!" As she spoke, she turned the camera of the light computer to the table, and saw a golden, crispy and fragrant roasted whole lamb appear in the camera, making people salivate.
After repeated confirmation, Wei'er's parents finally gave up the idea of coming to Lieyang Star, but they still couldn't help but repeatedly remind Wei'er to pay attention to safety, take good care of herself, and take good care of me.
I took the laptop, greeted my uncle and aunt with a smile, and told them that I would take good care of Wei'er and asked them not to worry.
Finally, Wei'er hung up the video call, breathed a sigh of relief, turned to look at me and said, "It's a good thing I persuaded them to stop. Otherwise, they would have kept nagging again if they had come."
I smiled and patted her shoulder gently: "Yes, but uncle and aunt also care about us."
Wei'er nodded and said softly, "Well, I hope they can be safe at home."
In the days that followed, we thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful experiences that Lieyangxing brought us. Every morning, we set out to greet the rising sun, embarking on a new journey. Along the way, Wei'er ran happily, her laughter echoing through the mountains. And I followed her footsteps, exploring this mysterious and beautiful land together.
We traversed dense forests and climbed towering peaks, overlooking the magnificent mountains and rivers. We played by the crystal-clear streams, enjoying the refreshing coolness of the water. Wei'er loved picking up beautiful stones and examining them carefully in her hands, as if they were the most precious treasures in the world.
During our journey, we encountered many fascinating creatures. There was a small, dainty bird with vibrant, colorful feathers and a clear, melodious song. There was also a unique plant whose blossoms, when in bloom, shone like dazzling flames, leaving us mesmerized. These wondrous creatures made us feel the wonder and charm of nature.
Of course, the trip wasn't without its culinary delights. We sampled traditional local dishes, each with its own unique flavors, which left a lasting impression. Wei'er particularly enjoyed a fresh fruit juice, which she drank several glasses at a time. We also tried some unique snacks, some of which were unusual in flavor, but nonetheless left a lasting impression.
As night fell, we chose to camp by a tranquil lake. We lit a campfire, gathered around it, and shared the day's fun. Wei'er would recount her experiences back home, and those heartwarming stories warmed my heart. I would also share my dreams and aspirations with her, hoping for her understanding and support.
On our last day on Lieyang Star, we arrived at a vast grassland. A gentle breeze rippled the grass like waves, and distant mountains loomed. Wei'er ran excitedly across the grass, exclaiming, "It's so beautiful here!" Watching her joyful figure, my heart was filled with emotion. Here, far away from the hustle and bustle of life, immersed in the embrace of nature, we found inner peace and tranquility.
As night fell, the starry sky shone brightly. We lay on the grass, gazing up at the sky. Wei Er pointed at the stars and told me their names and legends. At that moment, it felt as if time had stopped. We were the only two left in the world, enjoying this rare tranquility and romance.
The next day, we packed our bags and prepared to leave Sun Star. Although we were filled with reluctance, we knew this wonderful journey had come to a perfect end. Before leaving, Weier gave me a beautiful photo album filled with photos we had taken on Sun Star. She said, "These are our shared memories. No matter where we are, just opening this album will bring us back to those wonderful times."
As the spaceship slowly rose into the sky and the Sun gradually disappeared from sight, I held the photo album tightly and made a silent wish in my heart: I hope that one day in the future, we can return to this beautiful place again and continue our story.
