Coming to the StarCraft to Be a Kindergarten Teacher: Perfect Transformation
Chapter 110: Going Out to Forage
After I had spoken out everything, the heavy stone in my heart finally fell to the ground, and I felt much more relaxed. At this moment, I just wanted to have a good sleep and relax my tired body and mind.
I told Admiral Ed and the unnamed individual my entire story, but I chose to keep the secret of my cell phone a secret. When I first arrived in the interstellar space, the military escorted me to the hospital for treatment. They knew exactly what I was carrying, and this phone was my last resort. No matter what, I would never reveal the details of my phone to anyone, not even Veil. It was a matter of personal safety, so I had to keep this secret tightly, never revealing it to anyone else.
As I thought about things, my consciousness gradually blurred and I slowly fell asleep. In the dream, I seemed to be in a peaceful world, without worries and troubles, only endless peace. When I woke up again, I found that I had been asleep for a long time.
I blearily opened my eyes, the strong sunlight streaming through the window glaring onto my face. I rubbed my eyes, adjusting to the light, then checked the time, surprised to discover I'd slept so long. I stretched, and every bone in my body crackled, feeling refreshed.
Sitting up, I gently shook my head, my thoughts gradually becoming clearer. Recalling everything that had just happened, a wave of emotion welled up in my heart. Now, I had finally let go of the burdens of the past and could face the future with a fresh mindset.
Just as I was lost in thought, my stomach suddenly growled. I touched my stomach, smiled, and shook my head. It turned out that my body had almost recovered, which was why I felt this pang of hunger. Before, when I wasn't feeling well, I couldn't eat anything, let alone feel hungry. But now, my stomach's protests indicated that my health was improving. Thinking of this, I couldn't help but feel relieved.
"You're awake. I told you that if you didn't wake up, I would wake you up. Otherwise, you'll sleep too much during the day and won't be able to sleep at night." I looked at Wei'er coming in from outside, and she kept talking all the way. "Wei'er, have you been here for a long time? You should have woken me up when you came. I've been waiting for you for so long." I said to Wei'er.
"It's okay. I saw that you were still asleep, so I went to find my sister and asked about your current physical condition. She said that all your physical indicators are recovering and getting better and better. The hormones have been removed, but your weight loss depends on your own efforts, exercise and diet. Now that the hormones are gone, you can lose weight normally." I couldn't help but feel happy when I heard Wei'er's words.
"Really? That's great! I can finally start losing weight." I said excitedly.
"Of course it's true, so you have to work hard!" Wei'er encouraged.
"Yes, I will! Thank you, Wei'er." I looked at her gratefully.
"What are you thanking me for? We are good friends! By the way, do you feel unwell anywhere?" Wei'er asked with concern.
"No, I feel good." I replied with a smile.
"That's good. The doctor said you will be discharged from the hospital in a while. Let's go out and play together then!" Wei'er suggested.
"Okay, I'm looking forward to it!" I nodded happily.
"And Sister Pei'er said you can do some moderate exercise. It's time for dinner now, so let's go out for dinner! You haven't had a proper meal out since you came to Snow Star. Today I'll take you to a restaurant. Sister Pei'er is off work now, so let's go together!" Wei'er said enthusiastically.
I asked hesitantly, "Can I leave the hospital?" After all, I had lived here for a while and was a little unfamiliar with the outside world.
Wei'er replied with a smile: "Sure, go change your clothes quickly, we'll go out to eat, and then we'll take you back to the hospital." Hearing her say that, I nodded with relief, then went to find a set of clothes and changed in the bathroom.
When I walked out of the bathroom, I found Wei'er and Sister Pei'er waiting for me. Wei'er came up to me, looked at me carefully, and then gently pulled my clothes and said with concern: "Sui Sui, have you lost some weight? Your clothes are a little loose."
I looked down at my clothes and saw they were indeed a bit looser than before. I smiled and replied, "I feel that, too." After arriving in Interstellar, my body had changed, as I gradually adapted to my new lifestyle due to changes in diet and environment. Clothes that once fit me perfectly were now slightly looser, but this actually made me feel more comfortable.
Sister Pei'er also came over, looked at me and said, "It seems that you have recovered well recently, but you still need to pay attention to balanced nutrition." I nodded gratefully and said I would pay attention to it. Then, the three of us walked out of the hospital together, ready to enjoy a delicious dinner.
But after I'm discharged from the hospital, I still have to work hard to lose weight. After all, my body couldn't handle it before because of hormone problems. Now that I don't even have that excuse, I should lose weight even more! Not only for my own health, but also so that I can wear those beautiful dresses!
We walked into a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Soothing music played inside the restaurant, making people feel relaxed and happy. Soft lighting created a romantic and warm atmosphere.
After we sat down, Wei'er and Sister Pei'er ordered a table full of delicious food. I looked at the various dishes on the menu with great anticipation. Every dish looked delicious and made my taste buds start to stir.
Soon, the delicious dishes arrived, and we savored them while engaging in a joyful conversation. Topics ranged from daily life to interstellar anecdotes, and laughter flowed. We shared our experiences and feelings, feeling as if time had stood still.
Just as we were enjoying our meal, a commotion erupted from the table next to us. The noise grew louder, attracting the attention of everyone nearby. Curious, I looked over and saw a man shouting angrily at the waiter. His expression was furious, his tone harsh, and he seemed deeply dissatisfied with the service.
Wei'er and Sister Pei'er also noticed the situation over there. We smiled at each other and decided to move to a quieter seat. After all, such noise would affect our mood for dining. So we moved to a corner by the window, away from the noisy sounds.
The view outside the window was breathtaking: a starry sky, the city lights ablaze. We quietly admired this beautiful nightscape, savoring the tranquility and beauty. Meanwhile, Wei'er and Sister Pei'er began discussing the mysteries of the universe, and I, lost in their conversation, imagined distant planets and unknown worlds.
By the end of dinner, we had enjoyed a truly enjoyable conversation. Despite a few minor hiccups, our mood remained undimmed. We left the restaurant happily, feeling fulfilled and excited for the future as we embarked on a new journey.
After dinner, we strolled back to the hospital. Snow Star, ablaze with lights at night, was breathtakingly beautiful, like a dazzling pearl set in the universe. I savored the gentle breeze caressing my face, feeling incredibly comfortable. This dining out not only brought me a long-lost sense of freedom and joy, but also made me cherish my friends even more.
After dinner, we felt a bit full, so we decided to take a walk back to the hospital to help digest the food. As we walked, we saw a fabric shop on the side of the road. It suddenly occurred to me that I'd always wanted to make some handicrafts, but I never had the time to buy the materials. So, I dragged Wei'er and the others into the shop and picked out some beautiful fabrics and needlework. The fabrics came in a dazzling array of colors and patterns. I picked out a few that I liked and imagined what kind of small items I could make with them. Then, we wandered around for a while longer and bought some other things we needed. Finally, we returned to the hospital with a lot of goodies.
As soon as I entered the ward, I eagerly laid out my fabric and needle and thread on the table and began planning my creations. I imagined using the fabric to create cute little bags, handkerchiefs, or decorative items. These thoughts filled me with joy, and I looked forward to creating my own little creations.
However, as I approached the bedside, fatigue suddenly overwhelmed me. I'd been tense all morning, overly relaxed in the afternoon, and then had been out again. While my body had recovered well, my strength hadn't returned to its original state. The day's mental torment had left me feeling drowsy, so I simply lay down on the bed. Looking up at the ceiling, I felt my body gradually relax, and my thoughts drifted away. Recalling every detail of the day, I was filled with emotion. While I know my hospital stay has been somewhat inconvenient, it has also taught me gratitude and strength. I look forward to life after discharge, confident that it will be even better.
