The Bully President and the Serious Wife

Xu Lu had no filming tasks today. She was exhausted from the heavy filming in the past few days and felt overwhelmed. She decided to go home and rest for the whole day.

When they got to the apartment building, Xu Lu told Xiao Liu to go home and she could carry her own luggage.

Coming out of the elevator, she heard the hum of an electric drill, which made her head hurt, as if the drill was boring into her brain.

Xu Lu thought it was Jin Xuechuan who made the noise, but after taking a few steps, she realized something was wrong.

She quickened her pace and ran to the door, noticing it was ajar. The drilling noise was coming from her own house!

She tossed her duffel bag aside, pushed the door open, and rushed inside.

The loud bang she made opening the door made everyone inside turn and look at her.

Xu Lu glanced around the room and was shocked. Her things were scattered everywhere, and the six or seven people inside looked like ordinary renovation workers, not thieves.

She gritted her teeth. “This is my house! Who asked you to come in? Get out!”

The workers looked at each other in astonishment.

“Miss, we’re just doing our job. Someone hired us to do the repairs for him. He’s the boss. He has the key.”

Xu Lu frowned. Miss Mei paid the rent for a whole year.

It’s been less than a month. Even if the person wants to terminate the lease, he can’t do so without calling them. Something must have happened.

She asked coldly. “Who’s the boss? Let him come out.”

A voice called out from behind Xu Lu. "It's me!"

“These people are trespassing. Get them out immediately and make them pay for all the damages.”

A staff member at the property realized the situation was tricky. “Ms. Xu. He’s the boss. The unit now belongs to…Mr. Xie.”

Xu Lu turned around and stared straight into Xie Zhenting's eyes.

Then he turned to the workers and said, "If everything is finished ahead of time, I will double your wages."

Xie Zhenting frowned. “How humble. Isn’t that what you taught me?”

“You better be careful.”

Xu Lu walked away with a contemptuous smile.

She was in no mood to argue with Xie Zhenting. She was too tired. She needed to rest. Once she rested well, she would be able to deal with that man!

When I reached the elevator, the doors were already open.

The elevator door opened. Xie Zhenting tightened his grip, holding her in place. He pinched her chin and said, “I believe you. I can see you’re torturing me.”

Jin Xuechuan finally recovered from his stupor. He took off his mask and walked over. "Thank you, President. Such a strong approach doesn't seem necessary."

Xie Zhenting's eyes swept over Jin Xuechuan.

“My woman is none of your business. It’s between her and me.”

Xu Lu lowered her head and felt a little dizzy. She shouted, "Who is your woman?"

Xie Zhenting slapped Xu Lu's butt: "Shut up. You're pregnant with our child and you still dare to say no?"

Xu Lu almost wanted to vomit blood.
