I listened to my sister's words today.

Chapter 8 Magical Blood and Milk Powder

The car sped along, and it was unknown how long it had been going before it suddenly stopped without warning. Then, the trunk slowly opened, and Jiang Ling reached out, ready to take the little creature out. But to her surprise, the seemingly fragile little creature actually pressed its hands against the front of the car, putting on a show of stubborn resistance. Faced with this situation, Jiang Ling didn't think much, but quickly grabbed a pair of cold, hard handcuffs from her side and took the little creature directly to the basement.

Jiang Ling gave a sudden, powerful push, shoving Yun Yiruo into the room without warning. Before she could react, the door slammed shut. The room was pitch black, without even a faint light. Bewildered, the little creature scrambled to a corner, crouched down, and wrapped itself tightly in its nine fluffy, soft tails. Within this furry ball, she felt utterly alone and helpless, tears welling up like a dam, soaking the surrounding fur.

Perhaps due to the intense exercise and the lack of food at lunch, her stomach began to cramp. The little creature struggled to poke its head out from the gap between its tails, pleading in a tearful voice, "Can you please give me the milk powder in my bag... My stomach hurts... Sister... Sister... Jiang Ling..." She called out over and over, but only silence answered her. The prolonged shouting gradually drained her strength, and she finally gave up, wanting to conserve her energy.

Meanwhile, in the office above, Jiang Ling sat at her computer desk, her eyes fixed on the surveillance footage. However, she wasn't in a hurry, but rather appeared calm and composed. She held a newly delivered blood report in her hands, her eyes intently reading the data. It was astonishing that just this small tube of blood contained such immense power, capable of saving countless lives! It possessed powerful healing abilities and was compatible with all blood types. In other words, while this miraculous blood couldn't repair itself, it could be transfused into other patients, curing a variety of ailments.

Inside the city-center research lab of GA Biopharmaceuticals, the atmosphere was tense. Elderly staff gathered anxiously around the phone, hoping to obtain more blood samples from CEO Jiang Ling. Jiang Ling, a renowned corporate leader, responded coldly to these requests: "If you covet my possessions, your families will be the subjects of the lab's next project."

This statement was like a bucket of cold water, instantly extinguishing everyone's enthusiasm. They were well aware of Jiang Ling's methods and influence, and no one dared to doubt his words. At GA Biopharmaceuticals, Jiang Ling's words were absolute orders, and no company in the world dared to go against GA.

Jiang Ling's gaze shifted to the computer screen, where a white furry ball huddled in a corner. She called her staff and ordered them to bring Yun Yiruo's bag from her room. Inside was a can of milk powder. Jiang Ling inspected the packaging and found it perfectly clean, with nothing unusual.

Opening the can of milk powder, a burst of fragrance filled her nose. Curious, Jiang Ling took out a small spoonful and walked to a nearby lab bench to analyze the ingredients. Not long after, the results came in, shocking Jiang Ling. This milk powder contained an extremely rich nutritional content, and yet it had no side effects at all. It was simply impossible.

When she returned to the basement, the little girl was curled up in the furry ball formed by her nine tails, almost speechless with agony. She silently cursed the abominable system, "You're going too far! You've cut corners to this extent! It's unbearable!" However, the system seemed to have completely ignored her complaints, responding calmly, "My energy is still low, so I need to return to replenish it." As soon as the words fell, it disappeared, leaving Yun Yiruo in a state of panic, crying out, "Don't go! Please, please save me, take me away from this place!" But no matter how hard she begged, she received no response...

Time ticked by, and just as Yun Yiruo was feeling hopeless, the basement door suddenly swung open again. Jiang Ling walked in, carrying a cup of freshly prepared milk powder. She headed straight for the furry creature in the corner. Without hesitation, she reached out and forcefully pried apart the tightly tangled tails. Then, a small creature, its face covered in sweat and expression of agony, appeared before her. Seeing this, Jiang Ling quickly whispered, "Don't be afraid, little one. Drink some quickly." Then, she gently held the bottle to the little creature's lips.

Yun Yiruo, already ravenous, couldn't care less. She grabbed the bottle and eagerly began sucking, making gulp after gulp. As the sweet, delicious milk flowed into her stomach, her body, tense from the pain, gradually relaxed, and her complexion regained some color.

Seeing that she had finally finished her milk, she suddenly reached out, tightly grasped the little girl's chubby, round cheeks, and twisted them to face her. Then, she quickly raised her other hand and ruthlessly forced open the little girl's tightly closed mouth, then expertly flicked her small tongue to the side. After doing these movements, she reached out and gently stroked the sharp little canine tooth on the side of the little girl's mouth, while fiercely warning: "Listen up! If you dare to bite me again in the future, I will definitely pull out your tooth myself without hesitation! Do you understand? And if you try to escape next time, I will definitely break your wings!"

Hearing these threats, Yun Yiru trembled with fear and nodded repeatedly, indicating that she fully understood and dared not disobey. After all, she didn't want to become a toothless old woman! So, in extreme fear and reluctance, she could only obediently take Jiang Ling's hand and, with heavy and slow steps, follow him out of the basement that terrified her.
