Lin Ziyu stood there quietly, lost in deep thought. His heart was filled with conflict and confusion, as if shrouded in a fog, unable to find a way out. He didn't know how to deal with the current situation, nor did he know where the future would lead. At this moment, he could only silently ponder all this, hoping to find an answer to the mystery in his heart.

"Fifth Grandpa, I'll go back first." Lin Ziyu said softly.

"Go ahead." Lin Yaochen responded.

After Lin Ziyu left, Fu'an asked, "Fifth Master, why don't you explain to Young Master Ziyu the relationship between the three clans?"

"Fu'an, whether it is the human race, the orc race or the sea race, the strong are respected." Lin Yaochen said lightly.

Fu'an nodded and said, yes, as long as the Lin family is strong, Young Master Ziyu will be treated preferentially wherever he goes.

Lin Ziyu walked, his mind on his own, his mood growing increasingly unhappy. He had originally intended to ask Fifth Grandpa about the dispute between the three clans, but Fifth Grandpa easily changed the subject, preventing him from getting the answer he wanted.

Lin Ziyu slowly opened the door and walked into the room with his head lowered.

"I'm back." A pleasant voice came, with a hint of tenderness and concern.

Hearing the sound, Lin Ziyu looked up.

"Long Yan, when did you come?" Lin Ziyu asked with a hint of surprise in his tone.

Long Yan replied in a low and gentle voice: “Just when you left the room to find Master Lin.”

Lin Ziyu softly said "Oh," then slowly walked to the table and sat down, head bowed, without saying a word. Long Yan keenly noticed his low mood, so he walked over to him with gentle steps and asked in a soft and concerned voice, "What's wrong? Haven't you made up your mind yet?"

Lin Ziyu raised his head with dull eyes. After looking at Long Yan, he shook his head helplessly and sighed. He didn't want to talk and didn't know how to say it.

Long Yan lowered his voice again, and with a hint of worry and uneasiness, he asked cautiously: "Zi Yu, are you really going to give up on our relationship like this? Don't you want me anymore?"

Hearing this, Lin Ziyu turned his head abruptly, with a look of astonishment on his face, as if he couldn't believe his ears. He stared straight at Long Yan, wondering how he could say such a thing.

Then he turned around and said in a calm tone: "Long Yan, it's not that I want to give up. Is there trust between us? Long Yan, from the time we met until now, I have not hidden anything from you." He thought in his mind except that he had traveled through time.

A trace of pain flashed in Lin Ziyu's eyes, and he continued, "I always thought that we trusted each other, but what about you? Have you ever thought about me when you do anything? Have you ever thought about my feelings? At the beginning, you didn't tell me your identity, and I understood. I didn't think about being with you either. After I decided to be with you, when I wanted to get to know you, you left for something and said goodbye to me in a hurry." After saying that, Lin Ziyu showed a self-deprecating smile.

"Lin Ziyu, listen..." Long Yan said in a deep voice, his voice carrying a hint of firmness and tenderness, as if to convey his feelings to Lin Ziyu. "I, Long Yan, only love you in this life." His eyes were focused and affectionate, staring at Lin Ziyu closely, as if he wanted to see through his eyes to his innermost thoughts.

Lin Ziyu stared at Long Yan, his eyes filled with doubt and uncertainty. He asked softly, "Can I believe this?" This question was both a question to Long Yan and an exploration of his own inner feelings.

Long Yan did not answer Lin Ziyu's question, but stepped forward and hugged him tightly. Long Yan's embrace was warm and powerful, allowing Lin Ziyu to feel his sincerity and determination.

Long Yan whispered, "Do you know what a dragon's companionship contract means?" A firm tone lingered in his voice. "Let me tell you, there are three types of dragon companionship contracts: the cyan standard companionship contract, the purple soulmate contract, and the golden life-and-death companionship contract. Do you know which one ours is?"

Lin Ziyu listened to Long Yan's words quietly, and couldn't help but think that the color of the contract between them was golden.

Lin Ziyu raised his head in surprise and looked at Long Yan, his eyes full of shock, and muttered to himself: "Gold...gold? But, we clearly signed the contract by accident?" His tone was full of doubts, as if he couldn't believe what he heard.

Long Yan nodded, looking at Lin Ziyu firmly, and said, "Yes, I don't understand why either. Lin Ziyu, the golden companionship contract is the highest level of companionship contract in the dragon clan. It represents eternal commitment and a vow of never leaving each other."

Lin Ziyu listened quietly to Long Yan's words, his mood somewhat complicated. He didn't know how to deal with this sudden news, nor did he know what kind of feelings Long Yan had for him. He wondered if Long Yan really cared about him, or was just with him because of the contract.

Long Yan seemed to see through Lin Ziyu's thoughts. He took a deep breath and continued, "Lin Ziyu, I didn't have any thoughts about you at the beginning, but as time went by and we got along, slowly, I couldn't help but think of you in my heart. After I recovered from my injury, I planned to leave, but I couldn't let you go." His voice was low and magnetic, with a hint of imperceptible tenderness.

Lin Ziyu's heartbeat quickened. He looked at Long Yan, trying to find the answer in his eyes. However, Long Yan's eyes were so deep and mysterious that he couldn't see through their meaning. He could only wait silently for Long Yan to continue speaking.

"Lin Ziyu, are you willing to stay with me for the rest of my life? No matter how many storms lie ahead, no matter how the world changes, are you willing to walk through every sunrise and sunset with me?" Long Yan's voice was low and firm, his eyes were as calm as water, but revealed an irresistible power.

Lin Ziyu listened quietly, feeling deeply moved. He whispered, "Long Yan, I am willing to stay with you forever."

When Long Yan heard Lin Ziyu's words, the corners of his mouth curled up slightly, revealing a relieved smile. He hugged Lin Ziyu tightly, feeling his warmth and heartbeat. This hug was tighter than ever before, as if he wanted to melt the other person into his body.

"I really want to hold a wedding with you right now and let you receive the baptism of the Dragon Clan's Holy Land." Long Yan whispered in Lin Ziyu's ear.

Lin Ziyu moved his head slightly because Long Yan was talking in his ear and he felt his ears itchy and uncomfortable. He looked at Long Yan in confusion, saw the desire in his eyes, and felt the changes in his body.

Lin Ziyu pushed Long Yan away and lowered his head shyly. He said, "I'm tired." He quickly hid in bed and pretended to sleep.

Long Yan smiled, walked to the bed and lay down, hugged Lin Ziyu and said, "Ziyu, don't move." There was a hint of warning in his tone.

Lin Ziyu hummed twice and then stopped moving. He fell asleep unknowingly. Long Yan looked at Lin Ziyu sleeping peacefully in his arms, his heart filled with happiness and satisfaction. He gently kissed Lin Ziyu's forehead, then closed his eyes and fell asleep.
