Chapter 26: Choice in the Illusion

Lu Ling'er and Gu Yichen walked side by side in the misty forest of the fantasy world. The air around them was filled with an eerie sense of silence. Although they had passed the initial challenge, the road ahead was still confusing.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, the road suddenly forked, leading to two completely different scenes. The left path led to a bustling market, while the right path led to a desolate valley, where the cold wind howled and seemed particularly gloomy.

Lu Linger frowned, thinking to herself, "What's going on here? A fork in the road, it seems we have to make a choice."

As he became more determined, the whispers in the cave gradually dissipated, and Gu Yichen felt his body and mind lighten, as if he had broken free from some invisible constraints.

At this moment, a ray of light suddenly appeared at the entrance of the cave, as if guiding him forward. Gu Yichen followed the light without hesitation and walked into the cave, facing an unknown fate.

Two completely different paths, yet leading to the same destination. When Lu Ling'er and Gu Yichen met again, they had already passed through their respective illusions and had become more resilient in their hearts.
