Ramon felt that he was almost forgetting the fragrance and his sense of smell was disappearing. What was even more urgent was that his lunch break was approaching.
He covered his nose and ran out of the store. The clerk took out a plate of coffee beans and said, "Smell this, it will smell great."
He could only smell the coffee beans next to him again. After several minutes, he felt better. He smelled a few more scents and felt that they were both similar and different. He still didn't know what the scent was. Finally, he could only prepare to leave in embarrassment.
"If you've got something that smells like that, you should be able to clearly tell what it is," the clerk called out as Ramon left.
Ramon silently memorized it in his heart. As soon as he returned to the lord's mansion, he saw Miriam at the door and turned around and wanted to run.
"Ramon!" Milian knew that the task had not been accomplished when he saw Ramon with empty hands.
"Here I come," Ramon said, gritted his teeth and walked forward. "There are so many scents. I feel like I'm losing my nose. The clerk said if anyone gets a whiff of that scent on them, they'll know what it is."
Miriam could only think of another way. She thought that the nobles would be familiar with spices, or at least be able to remember or identify them.
"I'll go look for it. Please go again tonight."
Ramon felt sick. He didn't see Miriam getting angry or blaming him, and he found it abnormal.
"Why are you standing there? Go get to work."
It feels right!
Ramon ran into the office and started taking care of things.
The clock gradually pushed forward to night. Ramon looked at the handkerchief that Miriam handed to him and quickly took it.
Tia watched the scene from afar, rubbing the lime with her fingers, looking like she was enjoying the show.
Miriam urged Ramon to take the incense ash and go to the spice shop quickly. After pushing the person away, he was about to find Tia, but saw Tia looking at him with a mischievous face.
When she thought back to what had just happened, she knew that Tia had misunderstood.
"Master, don't worry. I will never fall in love with any man."
"Okay, okay, it's okay." Tia had a smile in her eyes, and it was obvious that she didn't believe it.
Seeing that Tia still refused to believe it, Milian raised his hand and was about to swear.
"I, Miriam, hereby pay my respects to the goddess Natalie Coughlin..."
"Okay, okay, I believe you. Don't say those things." Tia didn't expect Miriam to be so serious. "But what were you two doing so mysteriously just now?"
"Nothing. Tell him to buy something else." Miriam's eyes were a little evasive.
"Okay, okay." Tia didn't want to delve into it too much and went back to the office to continue processing things.
With the incense ash, Ramon quickly brought back the black rose aromatherapy. "You don't know that when I took the incense ash to the clerk, the clerk thought I was a pervert."
Ramon handed the aromatherapy in his hand to Miriam, "But I can't tell anyone that this is something the lord likes. My lifelong reputation..."
Milian recalled Tia's mischievous look and was reluctant to contact Ramon. "Put your things there."
"No way? When I was out, the store clerk thought I was a pervert, and now you're back you still think I'm a pervert. You asked me to buy this thing."
Ramon felt that he had no words to express his grievances. He worked so diligently, but was still treated like this.
"Why have you become so nagging?" Besides her father, the man who left the deepest impression on Milian was only the manager of Henk's dessert shop, and neither of them had such a personality.
Ramon was angry and didn't want to talk. He put the things down and went back to deal with his own business.
For three consecutive days, Tia was busy dealing with things and had no time to take care of the work at Bell's Restaurant.
Finally, on the fourth day, Tia finished all the work she could handle, and postponed the remaining things that could not be handled to the afternoon.
She would either write a letter back and ask Joel to provide a solution, or look through the relevant data herself to find a solution to the problem.
But her top priority now was to quickly resolve the issue at Bell's Restaurant, so she started taking out paper and pen to write and draw.
Fortunately, there is modern ready-made experience and high-end restaurants around for comparison, so it is quite simple to draw class divisions.
She reset the decoration drawings and wrote new menus, intending to provide the nobles with some different dishes and a more upscale environment.
I originally just wanted to come up with an idea in the morning, but I didn't expect that I couldn't help but deal with these things quickly. I was busy until the evening, and even at noon I just had a quick meal.
"My lord, what are you doing writing and drawing all day long?" Ramon moved closer to Miriam and leaned forward to see what was on the drawing paper in Tia's hand.
"Mind your own business. Have you finished dealing with all your things?" Milian took several steps back to create some distance between himself and Ramon.
"I noticed that you seem to be very resistant to my approach lately. Why?" Ramon turned his head back and looked at Miriam.
"Men and women should not touch each other, stay away from me." Milian saw that the tea in Tia's hand had gone cold, so he ran to make a pot of hot tea.
Ramon was standing there in a daze, muttering to himself, "What the hell? You're being so serious, you don't think I'm interested in her, do you?"
Ramon turned his head to look at Miriam who was pouring tea, and then sneered again.
Ramon is a proper nobleman, how could he possibly fall for a commoner?
He looked at Miriam with a critical eye. Miriam did not have skin as white as snow, nor did she have a slim figure. Her facial features were only ordinary. Moreover, she often got angry with him and had a bad temper. He just did other things.
How could he possibly fall for a woman like this?
Miriam, who was being talked about, felt like sneezing, but she held it back in front of Tia.
"Master, please be careful. Ramon has noticed that you are dealing with other things and has become curious." Milian whispered while bending over.
Tia looked up at Ramon and saw his critical and scrutinizing gaze. She raised her eyebrows slightly.
"Ramon!"
Ramon was startled by the sudden sound and quickly collected his thoughts. "What are your orders, Lord?"
"What were you looking at just now?" Tia said seriously with a sullen face.
"Millian!" Ramon subconsciously told the truth after what happened before, but he regretted it after he said it.
"No, no, no, that's not what I meant. I just...felt like Miriam has been acting strangely lately."
