As night fell, the sky above Star Academy was obscured by thick clouds, hiding the stars. Only scattered flames flickered in the darkness, like demonic eyes, peering down upon this once sacred place of learning. Inside the academy, the tranquil night was shattered by a sudden catastrophe. Flames raged like a raging dragon, devouring everything, illuminating the night sky like daylight, yet also reflecting the fear and despair within the hearts of the people.

"Everyone, remain calm!" Yun Yi's voice pierced through the chaos and clamor, firm and powerful, like a beacon in a storm, guiding those lost. Clad in silver armor and holding a longsword, he stood atop the academy's tower, his gaze piercing the surrounding sea of fire and the panicked crowd.

Under Yun Yi's command, the students gradually restored order. Rescue teams weaved through the sea of flames and smoke, doing their utmost to move the injured students to a safe area. Their faces were covered in dust and sweat, but their eyes gleamed with an unyielding spirit.

"Hurry, there are still students trapped here!" A rescuer shouted, his voice filled with anxiety and determination. Disregarding their own safety, they rushed into the sea of fire again and again, pulling lives back from the brink of death.

The defense team stood in full battle formation, wearing heavy armor and holding sharp blades, standing at the main entrance of the academy, vigilantly gazing around. There was no fear on their faces, only a firm commitment to duty and a desire for victory.

"Lord Yun Yi, we must strengthen our defenses. The Shadow Council could launch a more violent attack at any moment," a defense captain ran over to Yun Yi and reported in a low voice. His voice was low, but every word revealed an unquestionable resolve.

Yun Yi nodded, his eyes darting into the distance. "Immediately activate all defense mechanisms at the academy. Notify all teachers and students who are able to fight to prepare for battle." His voice was calm and powerful, as if he had everything under control.

At that moment, a dark figure emerged from the thick smoke like a ghost, heading straight for Yun Yi. It was a Shadow Council agent, clad in tight black clothing, his face hidden beneath a hood, revealing only a pair of eyes gleaming with a faint green light. He held a gleaming dagger, clearly heading for Yun Yi.

"Hmph, Yun Yi, your time of death has come!" The spy's voice was hoarse and cold, as if it came from the depths of the underworld, carrying a heart-pounding chill.

However, Yun Yi merely smiled faintly, remaining motionless. He gently swung his sword, its tip tracing a brilliant arc through the air, like the brightest meteor in the night sky. The sword's light instantly pierced the night sky, striking the dagger in the spy's hand with uncanny precision, sending it careening away. The spy's expression changed drastically, and before he could react, the ensuing sword light engulfed him like a violent storm, ultimately dissipating in a wisp of black smoke.

"Is this the strength of your Shadow Council? You're far too vulnerable." Yun Yi's voice was cold and contemptuous, as if the previous blow was a piece of cake for him. His eyes revealed a deep disdain and contempt for the Shadow Council.

The leaders of the Academy Alliance rushed to the scene, all of them shocked by Yun Yi's immense strength. The Vice Dean clenched his fists, his eyes filled with anger and worry. "Yun Yi, we must prepare for the worst. The Shadow Council has clearly come prepared this time."

Yun Yi nodded, his eyes penetrating. "Indeed, the Shadow Council appears to have gained control of some unknown power this time. We must proceed with caution. Immediately activate the academy's defensive formations and dispatch an elite team to investigate the Shadow Council's new movements."

Following the Vice-President's orders, the academy suddenly became bustling with activity. The activated defensive formations illuminated the night sky, forming a series of solid barriers that isolated the academy from the outside world. The elite team silently vanished into the night, beginning their reconnaissance mission.

Yun Yi stood high above, gazing at the coexistence of chaos and order within the academy. His heart was filled with worry and determination. He knew the Shadow Council's counterattack would not end easily; they had to prepare for a long battle.

His voice echoed through the night sky like the beating of a war drum, inspiring the fighting spirit in everyone. Also, notify the other factions in the Academy Alliance for reinforcements!"

As Yun Yi's order was issued, the entire Xingchen Academy erupted in excitement. People rushed out of hiding, weapons in hand, ready for the impending decisive battle.
