Legacy: Miracle

Chapter 231 The Dilemma After the Storm

The expedition team was like a leaf drifting in the storm, being mercilessly torn apart. Finally, under Feng Wuhen's leadership, they overcame numerous obstacles and found a relatively safe corner of the valley. Surrounded by towering peaks, it seemed like a safe haven specially prepared for them by nature.

The team members collapsed to the ground, some sitting and some lying, breathing heavily. Their faces and bodies were marked by the traces of the storm. Some had deep wounds on their arms, the blood had already coagulated into a dark red; others were as pale as paper due to the long hours of running and the tension.

"Huh... finally safe..." Yun Yi leaned against a large rock and breathed a sigh of relief. He looked up at the sky and saw that the dark clouds were still rolling, but the momentum of the storm had clearly weakened.

"How's everyone? Is anyone injured?" Arya stood up and checked the injuries of the team members one by one. Her eyes were full of concern and worry, and she held the healing bottle tightly in her hand, ready to treat the injured at any time.

"It hurts a little here..." A team member pointed to his leg and groaned in pain. Arya immediately squatted down and carefully treated his wound.

"Do we have enough medicine?" Kevin frowned as he counted the supplies. Their medicine and food had suffered varying degrees of damage during the storm, and the situation was not optimistic.

"It's barely enough, but we must find more supplies as soon as possible." Arya replied while bandaging the wound. She knew that in this unknown valley, they faced more challenges and unknowns.

"Feng Wuhen, do you think it's safe here?" Kevin looked at Feng Wuhen, his eyes flashing with questioning light. He knew that Feng Wuhen's perception of spiritual power was more acute than anyone else, and his judgment was crucial.

Feng Wuhen closed his eyes and sensed for a moment, then slowly opened them, a trace of solemnity flashing in his eyes: "The fluctuations of spiritual energy here are a little abnormal, and it seems to hide some unknown danger. But we have no choice now, we can only rest here first."

Hearing Feng Wuhen's words, the team members all showed worried expressions on their faces. However, they also understood that the current situation did not allow them to be picky.

"Don't worry, everyone. With Feng Wuhen here, we'll definitely get through this." Yun Yi stood up, dusted himself off, and tried to cheer up the team members. "Let's set up tents first and let the wounded rest. Then, we'll explore this valley together to find a way out and supplies."

Yun Yi's words were like a warm current flowing into the hearts of the team members. They cheered up and began to work together. Some set up tents, some cared for the wounded, and some were responsible for cleaning up the surrounding debris and preparing for the next life.

As night fell, the valley was completely silent. Only the occasional rustle of the wind outside the tent seemed to betray the world's ruthlessness and indifference. The team members gathered around the campfire, roasting their meager food and sharing their thoughts and feelings.

"This storm was so terrible..." one team member said with lingering fear, "I almost thought I couldn't go back."

"Yes, thanks to Feng Wuhen, Yun Yi and the others..." another team member echoed, his eyes filled with gratitude and admiration, "If it weren't for them, we would have been buried in the storm long ago."

"Don't say that..." Feng Wuhen waved his hand and said modestly, "We are a team, and everyone is an indispensable part. Only by working together can we overcome all difficulties."

Feng Wuhen's words filled the team members' hearts with warmth and strength. They knew that although the road ahead was still unknown and full of challenges, as long as they united as one and moved forward courageously, nothing could stop them.

"By the way, Feng Wuhen..." Kevin suddenly remembered something and looked at Feng Wuhen, "You said before that the spiritual energy fluctuations here are abnormal. Is there any danger?"

Feng Wuhen pondered for a moment, then said solemnly, "I'm not sure either. But based on my perception, the spiritual energy fluctuations here are indeed different from the ordinary. We must be careful to avoid triggering any unknown mechanisms or traps."

"What should we do then?" Arya asked worriedly. She knew that in their current state, if they encountered any danger again, the consequences would be disastrous.

"Tomorrow morning, Yun Yi and I will go out and investigate." Feng Wuhen looked at Yun Yi, and they smiled at each other. "We will try our best to be cautious and ensure everyone's safety."

"Okay, then you must be careful." Kevin nodded. He understood that this was the best solution at the moment. "We will wait here for you to come back."

As the night deepened, the team members gradually fell asleep. Only Feng Wuhen and Yun Yi remained sitting by the campfire, whispering about tomorrow's exploration plan. Their eyes gleamed with determination, as if no matter what awaited them, they would bravely move forward without retreat.

"Yun Yi, do you think we can find a way out this time?" Feng Wuhen asked softly. Although he was full of confidence, he was also a little nervous.

"Of course we can," Yun Yi replied without hesitation. "As long as we unite as one and move forward courageously, nothing can stop us. I believe in you, and I believe in our team."

Feng Wuhen smiled slightly upon hearing this. He looked up at the stars in the night sky, his heart filled with anticipation and longing for the future. "Yes, as long as we are together, nothing is impossible. Tomorrow, let us uncover the mystery of this valley together!"
