Legacy: Miracle

Chapter 229 New Danger

The tense and delicate atmosphere within the valley was suddenly replaced by a sense of oppression. The sky seemed stained with ink, thick with dark clouds, layer upon layer, as if threatening to swallow the entire valley. The wind no longer blew gently, but instead carried a biting chill and a sharp spiritual power, wantonly weaving through every corner of the valley.

"What...what's going on?" Arya's voice trembled slightly. She looked up at the swirling dark clouds, a flicker of unease in her eyes. Her fingers gently stroked the hilt of her sword. As if sensing its owner's emotions, the spiritual energy within it began to fluctuate slightly, emitting a faint glow.

"Spiritual Storm!" Kevin's voice was low and rapid. He quickly looked around, trying to find a trace of shelter. "Everyone, hurry! Find a place to hide. This storm is not something we can easily withstand!"

Yun Yi's brow furrowed as he searched the valley, only to find steep cliffs and exposed rocks, with no place to hide. "Feng Wuhen," he asked anxiously, turning to look at Feng Wuhen standing beside him. "You're most familiar with this valley. Is there any place to take refuge?"

Feng Wuhen's brows knitted together. He shook his head, his eyes filled with solemnity. "There's no place in this valley to hide from the spiritual storm. Moreover, the intensity of this storm... is far beyond our imagination."

As soon as he finished speaking, a dazzling flash of lightning suddenly streaked across the sky, followed by a deafening roar of thunder that seemed to rip the entire valley apart. The spiritual power storm, like a raging beast, finally bared its fangs.

"Everyone, gather together and form a defensive formation!" Yun Yi shouted loudly. He quickly mobilized the spiritual power in his body, and a huge spiritual shield slowly formed above his head, enveloping the members of the expedition team. However, this shield seemed so fragile in the face of the storm. The howling wind brought with it sharp spiritual blades, like razor-sharp blades, constantly cutting the shield.

"Crack!" With a crisp sound, a tiny crack appeared on the shield. "This won't work!" Arya cried anxiously, her sword swung like a dragon, slashing at an approaching spiritual blade. However, the spiritual blade only deviated slightly and continued to charge at the shield.

"We have to get out of here!" Kevin also joined the battle, his hands quickly forming seals, and spiritual energy bullets rained down like raindrops, trying to repel the raging storm. However, the storm seemed to have infinite power, and the spiritual energy bullets were just a drop in the ocean in front of it.

Feng Wuhen took a deep breath, and his eyes suddenly brightened, as if two flames were burning in them. He slowly raised his right hand and gently waved it towards the sky. Instantly, a powerful spiritual energy wave emanated from his hand, resonating wonderfully with the spiritual energy storm in the sky.

"Follow me!" Feng Wuhen shouted, his figure vanishing in an instant like a flash of lightning. The members of the expedition team followed closely behind him, and under Feng Wuhen's guidance, they struggled through the storm. The wind howled, and spiritual blades followed them like shadows, but they seemed to be pulled by an invisible force, miraculously avoiding all danger.

"Everyone be careful!" Yun Yi's voice echoed through the team. He was always alert to the surrounding movements, fearing any unexpected situation. "Follow Feng Wuhen closely, he is our only hope!"

Arya gripped her sword tightly, her eyes firm and resolute. She knew this storm was a test for all of them, and only by uniting as one could they overcome it. "Don't panic, everyone! Maintain formation!" she shouted, trying to calm the group.

Led by Feng Wuhen, the team marched forward with difficulty. Every step was filled with uncertainty and danger, but they never stopped. Because they knew that only by moving forward could they find hope for survival.

"Feng Wuhen, are you sure this road can lead us out?" Kevin's voice was a little weak in the strong wind, but his eyes were full of trust. He knew that Feng Wuhen was the one who knew this valley best among them and was their only support.

Feng Wuhen didn't look back, but walked forward resolutely. "Believe me, this road will definitely lead us out of this damn place!" His voice echoed in the wind, full of strength and determination.

The members of the expedition team followed Feng Wuhen closely, their hearts filled with hope and courage. They knew that as long as they united as one, nothing could stop them from moving forward.

"Everyone, be careful!" Feng Wuhen suddenly shouted. He suddenly stopped and stood in front of the team. Not far ahead, a huge spiritual blade was roaring towards them, as if it was going to split the entire team in two.

"Get out of the way!" Yun Yi shouted, and he quickly mobilized his spiritual power, trying to repel the spiritual blade. However, the spiritual blade seemed to have a spirit and nimbly dodged his attack.

"Don't panic!" Feng Wuhen said solemnly. He quickly formed a seal, and a powerful wave of spiritual energy emanated from his hands. Upon contact with this force, the spiritual blade suddenly changed direction and flew to the side.

"That was a close call!" Arya breathed a sigh of relief, her eyes filled with admiration as she looked at Feng Wuhen. She knew that if Feng Wuhen hadn't intervened in time, they would have been killed by that spiritual blade.
