"Wow, it's a water monster!" Aiden shouted happily.

The water monsters, laughing and joking, rushed towards their boat, trying to pull them in. Lin Yi and Aiden frantically drew their weapons, ready to fight. But just then, the light crystal shone with a brilliant light, scaring the water monsters away in the blink of an eye.

"Wow, this crystal can really protect us." Lin Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

After much effort, they finally reached the island in the lake. Once ashore, they found themselves in a peaceful and tranquil place. The trees around them were lush green, and birds were chirping in the branches.

"Is this the Temple of Souls?" Leah looked around curiously.

"That's right, little one." The scholar's voice came from behind, "But to enter the temple, you have to solve a puzzle."

Lin Yi, Leah, and Aiden followed the scholar to the temple gate, where they saw it densely engraved with complex symbols and patterns.
