As the first rays of morning light shone across the continent of Aesera, Lin Yi and Leah had already embarked on a new journey. They passed the edge of town and entered an unknown territory. As Lin Yi delved deeper into the tome, he felt his power grow. He began experimenting with combining the magic in the book with his own, creating new magical abilities. Leah was also drawn to the fighting techniques in the book and began applying them in combat, further refining her swordsmanship.

However, their good fortune didn't last long, as their actions attracted the attention of those with ill intentions. One night, a group of mysterious men in black suddenly attacked their camp. Lin Yi and Liya were forced to fight back, utilizing the temple's terrain and their newly acquired combat skills to engage in a fierce battle with the men in black.

During the battle, Lin Yi discovered that the men in black seemed very interested in the tome. He realized that the book might be related to the great secrets of the Ethira continent, so he and Leah decided to protect the book and prevent it from falling into the hands of evil people.
