Zerg Survival Record

Chapter 4 Discharge

The two insects that came to take care of Lan Yin looked like human men in their twenties. They were young, slender, and like green bamboos. They were not the strong men over two meters tall that Lan Yin had imagined.

This was really a relief. It was because Lan Yin thought he had gigantism and didn't like looking up at others. He got cervical spondylosis at a young age.

Besides, people have always been patient with beautiful things. Even if Lan Yin hates every creature equally, he will still have normal likes and dislikes.

"I'm fine." Lan Yin couldn't be sarcastic anymore and told the truth: "No one would have thought that the table was so fragile. I broke it with just a little force."

The two guard insects looked at each other and became even more silent.

They cleaned up the debris and moved back to a table that was similar to the previous one.

Lan Yin suspected that they were doing wholesale business, so she couldn't help but ask, "I don't have to pay for it, right?"

If he really wanted compensation, he could only sell blood. After all, he was a penniless pauper now.

He was an expert at silencing people, but the nurse who had spoken to him before still said, "Sir, you don't have to pay."

"That's good." Lan Yin thought about it and realized that the Zerg couldn't be so stingy, and he was also useful to the Zerg.

I just don't know what its use is. Unknown things are always difficult to grasp, so it's normal to feel uneasy.

Lan Yin really didn't like this kind of emotion, and didn't want to put herself at a disadvantage.

He is not competitive, but he will never allow himself to be in a passive position.

With this in mind, Lan Yin sent the two bugs away and began to take a nap.

If he follows the normal procedure, he should check his body with various instruments and get a check on whether his body is in good condition or not.

But he had refused the meaningless blood draw before, so no one came to disturb him until he fell asleep, whether on purpose or out of fear.

When he woke up, Calvin was already waiting for him in the living room.

Lan Yin had to admit that the appearance of these transformed insects was very superior no matter how you looked at it. No wonder so many of his fellow Blue Star compatriots fell in love with them at first sight and kept pestering them.

But Lan Yin still thinks he is more handsome.

As soon as Calvin saw him coming, he stood up and said, "Good afternoon, sir."

Lan Yin couldn't be rude, so he nodded and said, "Good afternoon, Adjutant Calvin."

After the two sat down, they didn't say any more polite words and got straight to the point.

Calvin said, "Your personal information has been entered into this optical computer, and some permissions have been opened. You will have unimpeded access to the planet Yalandi."

"As for the books you want to read, you can download them from here."

He gave Lan Yin a light computer, which was more delicate and compact than any Lan Yin had ever seen.

Lan Yin was not in a hurry to open it and look, but instead asked him: "Then can I leave here?"

"Of course," Calvin replied.

Before he came, he had already learned about the blood drawing incident and felt a little unhappy.

You should know that Lan Yin is a bug sent by their Sixth Legion, and all his expenses are borne by the Sixth Legion.

It can be said that what Lan Yin owed was the Sixth Legion, not the Research Institute.

In order to prevent some confused bugs from doing something wrong, it is imperative to move Lan Yin to another place.

Lan Yin breathed a sigh of relief. It was a good thing that he could have something like a light computer as an ID and leave this damn place.

If those guys who want to draw his blood are unwilling to give up and insist on having his blood, then they will definitely cause trouble.

As an outsider, no matter what, without a foundation, it is difficult to move forward.

Lan Yin didn't believe that if a conflict really occurred, the forces represented by Calvin would really help. It would be good enough if they didn't take advantage of the situation.

"That's great. I don't like the atmosphere of this place. It's too depressing and doesn't make me happy at all."

Lan Yin said, then stood up and asked impatiently, "Can we leave now?"

Calvin was stunned, probably because he didn't expect Lan Yin to dislike this place so much.

In fact, it was one thing for Lan Yin to have his blood coveted, but what was more important was that he didn't like this place. It was too quiet and there was no breath of life, which made Lan Yin feel very uncomfortable.

"If you want..."

Calvin said this and stood up as well.

He called two nurses over and said to one of them, "Go tell the dean that I have taken the gentleman away."

The other party nodded, turned and left.

Lan Yin looked curious and asked, "Are they your subordinates?"

The two caregivers were taciturn and had cold expressions. There was always something strange about them when they were taking care of him. They didn't seem like they were graduates from specialized schools, but rather like they were temporarily assigned to this task.

They stood straight and acted decisively, which made Lan Yin suspect that they were soldiers.

Calvin had nothing to hide and said, "They are medics."

What he didn't say was that after sending Lan Yin to the research institute, he would leave two medics behind to take care of him.

With them watching, Lan Yin's imagined blood draw did not happen. After all, his body could not bear it at the time, and only a small amount of blood was drawn for testing. Otherwise, it would be difficult to arrange a specific course of treatment, and no one would know what his genetic arrangement was.

After he woke up, the bugs thought he was easy to fool and could be deceived by any excuse, so they came to draw his blood under the pretext of examination.

Even if Lan Yin didn't react in time to refuse, the two medics who knew the truth would have reminded him and even helped him block it.

"No wonder." Lan Yin muttered, then asked Calvin where he could live.

Since this was a last-minute decision, Calvin thought for a moment and said, "I have a few houses near the Legion's garrison. I'll show you some later."

According to Lan Yin's physical condition, going to the hospital was the best option, but Calvin had a hunch that Lan Yin would not be happy.

He had read Lan Yin's physical report and naturally knew that his condition had stabilized and his recovery ability was not much worse than that of a female insect, so he just needed to rest assured.

If they insisted on keeping him in the hospital under the pretext of doing it for his own good, then what they wanted would be in jeopardy. Even if Lan Yin finally agreed, they would still worry that Lan Yin would feel resentful and do something about it.

That's good intentions with bad results.

Lan Yin took a shower, changed into the clothes Calvin brought him, and left the institute with him.

The defense outside is very tight, with a guard post almost every ten steps. Most of the soldiers are tall and strong. It seems that they can knock down three Lan Yins with their fists as big as sandbags, or kick Lan Yin's head off with a jump.

But Lan Yin still underestimated them. After all, this was the Zerg world. They could transform into insect form and fight in the universe. It was not impossible for them to tear armor and warships apart with their bare hands.

Although he had expected it, Lan Yin still felt complicated when he saw the hover car.

In particular, Calvin explained to him, "Your body hasn't recovered yet and can't withstand the turbulence of the airship. For now, I can only use the hovercraft to take you."

Lan Yin shook his head and said, "Let's leave!"

Calvin said no more and opened the back door for Lan Yin.

After Lan Yin got in, she saw him about to get in the driver's seat and quickly called out, "You come in and sit too."

The Zerg youth with smoky gray eyes paused and glanced at his subordinates behind him.

The subordinate, who was one of the medical soldiers, got a signal from his superior and sat in the driver's seat.

When Lan Yin saw Calvin come in, he sat down next to him to make room for him. Then he took out his computer and said, "Can you teach me how to operate it?"

It would be a waste of time to research it by yourself. If you accidentally break it, how can Lan Yin, who is penniless, have the nerve to ask for another one? Even if he does, it is unknown whether others will give it to him.
