Chapter 9: Meeting Kael'thas's Father
Alvin had been a member of the Ten Thousand Year Alliance when he played the game, and had never been to Silvermoon City, so he was very much looking forward to this trip.
The first path we passed was the Elders' Trail, which was lined with tall silver-leaf trees. Magical light flickered between the treetops, as if countless stars were dancing.
The trail is paved with smooth white marble, and each slab is carved with exquisite patterns, making it look particularly gorgeous.
Continue forward and you will arrive at the Garden Market.
This is the largest trading area in Silvermoon City. There are all kinds of shops and stalls on both sides of the street, and the dazzling array of goods is dazzling.
"The goods here are things I haven't seen in Stratholme!"
Alvin sighed.
Caponia smiled and said, "The merchants in Silvermoon City are very shrewd and talented. Their goods are not only of high quality but also reasonably priced."
Alvin nodded, and they continued forward, arriving at the Royal Trading District.
This is another important trading area in Silvermoon City. The buildings are more magnificent and the streets are bustling with people coming and going, making it seem extremely busy.
The Xingyuan sisters seemed to be well-known people in the city. Many people in the city knew them and stopped to salute them. The two of them also returned the salutes like aristocratic ladies.
"She's such a good pretender. Just now she was a female Tyrannosaurus shouting for war and killing, but now she's a good girl when she gets home."
"Here we are."
After passing through the Royal Trade District, we arrived at the Sun Chaser Royal Court.
This is the royal area of Silvermoon City, where the architectural style is even more magnificent.
The towering towers and magnificent palaces sparkled in the sun, like magnificent pagodas. The entrance was guarded by many fully armed Quel'dorei shield-bearing warriors, all wearing gorgeous golden armor.
"This is the Sun Chaser Court."
Caponia introduced,
"This is the heart of Silvermoon City and the pride of our Quel'dorei."
Finally, under the watchful eyes of the guards, the three arrived at the Sunfury Tower. This towering tower is the palace of Silvermoon City and the residence of King Anasterian Sunstrider.
The outer walls of the tower are inlaid with countless magic crystals, emitting a soft light, making it look particularly mysterious.
"go in."
Solanlian quickly communicated with the messenger at the door and was soon told that the king was waiting for everyone in the throne room.
Alvin nodded and followed them into the Sunfury Tower.
The decoration inside the tower is even more gorgeous, with exquisite murals and flags hanging on the walls.
The three continued forward and finally arrived at the king's hall.
Anasterian Sunstrider was sitting on the throne, listening to reports from several officials. His eyes were sharp, and he was obviously a very prestigious leader.
"Your Majesty, we are back."
Solanlian said respectfully, and saluted the king together with Calpurnia, and Alvin followed suit.
The king raised his head, his long golden hair falling from his ears, and his soft gaze fell on them.
"Welcome, Solanlian, Calpurnia, and this human friend."
Looking at Solanlian wearing a torn shirt, Caponia was wrapped in a priest's robe.
The king asked in surprise, "Girls of the Starwish family, what news do you bring me? And who is this human friend?"
Alvin bowed respectfully, his heart filled with awe. This was the first time he had seen a famous figure in Warcraft history!
He is also Kael'thas's father!
The king did not know what would happen to his son and his people.
The king of Quel'dorei in front of him was already over a thousand years old, but time had not left too many traces on his face. He looked like a kind middle-aged man, wise and amiable.
"Your Majesty, I am Elwen Priest, a priest from Lordaeron."
The king nodded, a hint of approval in his eyes.
"Mr. Priest, you speak Quel'dorei very well. I'm afraid it's the best I've ever seen among the humans. Thank you for your hard work."
"Now, please tell me about your experiences and where Zul'jin went."
Solanlian and Caponia began to describe their experiences in Zul'Aman in detail, while Alvin stood quietly by and listened attentively.
When Caponia mentioned that Alvin used "mind control", the king and the nobles who were listening in the throne room looked around in surprise. They had never heard of such incredible magic.
"Respected Duke Marand, may I ask if this spell exists in the priest's spells?"
Foreign country turned its head and asked a graceful and elegant female elf next to it.
The female elf, wearing a blue robe, slowly walked out of the crowd.
"Your Majesty, in my more than 1000 years of life, I have never heard of any record of this spell."
"Oh? What is this?"
The king turned to Alvin with a hint of doubt and asked.
"Mind control is a spell that can temporarily control another person's mind. Through this spell, I can enter the target's consciousness and control their behavior and language."
Anasterian frowned slightly, clearly surprised by the spell.
"That sounds amazing. How did you learn this spell?"
Alvin smiled and said, "Actually, I didn't learn this spell myself. I stumbled upon it during a meditation session. I stumbled upon the fact that by concentrating my mind and thoughts and chanting a spell, I can temporarily enter another person's consciousness and control their behavior."
Anastarion nodded.
"All spells did not exist originally. They were all created by geniuses. And you, Mr. Irwin Priest, may be a genius in this area."
"Thank you for your compliment, Your Majesty. I just came across this spell by chance; it's nothing special."
"Alvin also knows a magic called Mind Vision! He can use it to share the vision of other creatures!"
Caponia quickly added fuel to the fire, as if she was afraid that others didn't know how powerful Alvin was.
"This spell is also quite magical! He determined the direction of Zul'Aman through an eagle!"
"Oh?"
There was a commotion in the King's Hall. All the Quel'dorei here were old guys who had lived for thousands of years. Moreover, due to the influence of the Sunwell, the elves had a natural affinity for magic that was beyond ordinary people. Therefore, their understanding of magic far exceeded that of any other country in the world. They knew how difficult it was to develop a kind of magic from scratch.
You know, the group of human mages in Dalaran were originally taught by Quel'dorei mages!
Although, due to the advantage of huge population, a magical genius often emerges every once in a while.
It’s a pity that human lifespan is too short. After finally cultivating to the level of a great master, one is already very old.
Alvin felt a headache. This Caponia spoke too fast and blurted out everything without him noticing!
I glared at her, but she was puffing out her chest and looking around proudly, like a dragon eagle that had won a battle.
Seeing Alvin staring at her, she gave him a thumbs up without knowing what was going on!
"Your Majesty, that was something I came up with by chance. It's not a powerful spell."
"There's no need to be modest, Mr. Priest. The ability to create new spells is a talent in itself. You should be proud of it."
"Thank you for your encouragement, Your Majesty. I will continue to work hard to make greater contributions to Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas, and I will always be ready to strive for the realization of the Four Transformations."
Anastari didn't actually understand, but in order to show his erudition, he nodded with a look of satisfaction.
"I am sure you will, Mr. Priest. Now, tell me about your experiences in Zul'Aman."
Elvin took a deep breath and began to describe in detail what he had seen in Zul'Aman, describing in detail how he and Caponia used mind control and sheep transformation to sneak into the troll camp and successfully rescued Solanlian.
