Akalissa stretched out her huge dragon wings and continued to fly with everyone on her shoulders.

After two days and one night of sleepless journey, at dusk on the second day, when the setting sun dyed the sky a gorgeous purple-red, a shining golden line finally appeared on the distant horizon - the sea.

The moist and slightly salty sea breeze blew towards us, dispelling the dryness and dust of the inland.

"According to the scheduled time and speed, our fleet should have arrived in this sea area."

Shandris leaned on her hands and looked out at the sparkling sea in the distance. The night elves' super long-range vision allowed her to find her fleet in the first time.

As expected by Shantis, after Akalitras flew a short distance along the coastline, a spectacular scene came into view.

Several Kaldorei warships with elegant shapes and exuding an ancient and mysterious atmosphere, like cheetahs on the sea, surrounded a small island isolated overseas.

These night elf warships are a perfect combination of works of art and weapons of war.

The slender hull is made of magically treated moonwood and has a purple sheen.

The prow is carved into the shape of a night saber leopard or a horned hippogryph, and is lifelike.

The crescent-shaped purple sails were painted with the holy symbol of Elune, fluttering in the sea breeze.

On the deck of the ship, one could vaguely see crossbows flashing with arcane energy and sentinels wearing silver armor and with sharp eyes.

The small island surrounded by the fleet looked gloomy and dangerous.

It stands alone in the sea west of the continent of Feralas, like an abandoned fortress.

The island is covered in an unnaturally dense, dark green jungle, with layers of vegetation stacked up so thickly that it's almost impossible to see what's inside.

The beaches and reef areas at the edge of the island were littered with hastily erected obstacles - crude wooden chevaux de frise, iron chains entangled with thorns, and even the wreckage of some damaged ships, obviously intended to prevent the Kaldorei from landing.

The Kaldorei soldiers on the warships also quickly discovered the conspicuous red dragon in the sky.

When they saw the figure standing on the dragon's back, especially the iconic long braid and upright posture, the tense atmosphere instantly turned into cheers.

Many of the sentries waved their arms enthusiastically in greeting their general.

Akalitraza lowered its altitude and approached the air not far from the mast of the largest flagship. A red light flashed around it, and its huge dragon body quickly shrank and turned into the form of a red-haired girl.

At the same time, Alvin waved his hands skillfully, and several soft golden lights enveloped the falling people. The levitation technique made them land on the broad deck of the flagship as light and steady as feathers.

A female Kaldorei commander with a slender figure and a scar on her face immediately came forward. She had long dark purple hair tied into a neat battle braid and gave Shandris a standard military salute.

"General Feathermoon! I am Fleet Commander Lainara Nightbreeze. We have received the message from Lady Tyrande and you. We knew you would come to support us, but we didn't expect you to come so quickly!"

Her voice was clear and powerful, with a military air of competence.

Shandris returned the greeting and responded tersely, "We didn't expect the schedule to be so tight. Captain Lenara, what is the current situation? Please report in detail."

Lenara's expression straightened as she reported quickly, "General, based on the intelligence we've gathered since arriving and previous reports, Cho'gall and his Twilight's Hammer orcs were initially attacked at sea by Queen Azshara's naga forces, forcing them to flee to this island. Before our fleet arrived and formed a siege, the naga forces appear to have already inflicted considerable damage on them, and they voluntarily withdrew upon our arrival."

Captain Lenara continued.

"However, during the brief period of confusion while we were conducting tactical reconnaissance and deployment and attempting to make contact with the Naga, a team of approximately a dozen elite orcs, boarding a hidden speedboat, broke through the outer security and successfully landed on the coast of Feralas."

She pointed toward the mainland, her tone tinged with self-blame. "I immediately dispatched a team of sentinels in pursuit. We caught up with them at the entrance to Dire Maul and engaged in a fierce exchange of fire. But these orcs clearly didn't want to be held back by us. They fought and retreated, eventually taking refuge deep within Dire Maul. Given that it was an absolutely forbidden area, my soldiers didn't dare venture in. They could only establish a blockade around the perimeter and then withdraw, prioritizing the primary mission of sealing off the island and clearing out the remaining orcs."

"Dire Maul is a forbidden area?"

Alvin looked at Shandris. Although he had heard the name, he knew little about the specific reason.

Shandris nodded, her brow furrowing as she explained to Alwyn, "Dire Maul was once called Eldre'Thalas. It was a city founded in ancient times by a group of highborne elven nobles who survived the Sundering."

She sighed,

"I believe you know everything that happened before and after the Big Bang, but there are always some who refuse to give up. In order to maintain their reliance on magic after losing the Well of Eternity, this group of people conducted a series of dangerous and taboo experiments, which ultimately led to a catastrophe. The city was devoured by crazy magic and twisted monsters. The Highborne elves became terrifying ghosts after their death, and continue to wander the streets and alleys of that cursed city. Any living being who sets foot there may be corrupted by the mad whispers within, or torn apart by those twisted guardians. Therefore, thousands of years ago, it was sealed by the joint order of the Archdruid and the Priestess, and listed as an absolute forbidden area, forbidding any member of the tribe to approach."

Her words made the atmosphere on the deck even more solemn. The danger of Dire Maul was far beyond that of an ordinary enemy stronghold.

Captain Lenara looked at Shandris, awaiting the final decision. "General, what should we do now? Should we concentrate our forces on conquering the island first, or..."

Shandris pondered for a moment, her sharp eyes sweeping over Alwyn and the looming outline of Dire Maul on the distant coastline of Feralas.

"Give the orders, General." Alvin winked at Shandris.

Shandris nodded, quickly making a decision.

"Divide into two groups."

"The main fleet will continue to blockade and eliminate the remaining Twilight Hammer forces on the island, ensuring they can no longer pose a threat and collecting any valuable intelligence."

"At the same time, assemble an elite team, led by me personally, and immediately enter Dire Maul. We must catch up with and destroy the fleeing orc detachment. We must not let them find whatever they want in that cursed place, no matter what it is! We must not let them desecrate that long-silent ruin, and we must not let any danger within it be leaked!"

"What is the composition of the elite team?"

Captain Lenara asked.

"Alvin, Green Shadow, and Akalitrassa, four of us will be enough."

"Do you need support? There are more than a dozen of them, and among them is a powerful two-headed ogre."

"Two-headed ogre?"

Alvin immediately perked up when he heard Lenara's words.

"It could be Gugaer! He's come out in person! This is our chance. If we defeat him completely here, many problems will be solved!"
