The cold wind was still biting high in the sky, but it brought with it the unique salty and moist smell of the ocean.

Akalitrasza steadily lowered her altitude along the wide river valley in the east of Ashenvale, which rushed eastward like a huge emerald crack, and glided into a completely different world - the Azshara region.

Alvin looked down at the scene gradually unfolding below. Even though he already knew the outline of this place, the shock of being there in person still made him gasp and involuntarily clutch his dragon scales.

"This... is Azshara?" he muttered to himself, his astonishment clearly audible.

In his inherent impression, the territory of the night elves was always built with towering ancient trees, entwined vines, and buildings built on giant trees.

For example, the Teldrassil-style architecture is full of natural rhythm.

However, the scene before me completely overturned this stereotyped imagination.

On the west side, the rolling mountains covered with dark green primeval forests stand majestically like the uplifted spine of the earth, forming a solid land barrier for this area.

At the foot of the mountains, the mighty river rushing from the Gray Valley merges into the sea. Silt is deposited at the wide river mouth, forming a slightly turbid delta wetland.

But the most jaw-dropping thing is the magnificent scenery in the east!

A perfect crescent-shaped bay gently embraces the eastern coastline.

On the inner side of the crescent, what caught everyone's attention were the city ruins stretching along the long coastline.

They were not a few isolated ruins, nor were they the remains of a village or a town.

It was the skeleton of a city.

The wreckage of a dead civilization on a breathtakingly vast scale.

Its scope is so vast that, viewed from the air, it appears to cover an area even larger than the area covered by the entire World Tree, Teldrassil.

A small part of the relatively intact urban area still stubbornly clings to the coastal highlands, while a larger part has permanently sunk into the embrace of the shallow sea, immersed in the azure water and gray-yellow mudflats.

The remains of buildings immersed in the seawater form a bizarre underwater world.

The huge cracked stone pillars are like the masts of a sunken ship, slanting into the water, covered with thick, colorful coral reefs and seaweed.

The once magnificent palace dome has now become a paradise for fish, with countless small fish gleaming with silver light swimming and playing in it.

Huge shadows swam underwater, giant lobsters as big as small boats, waving their huge claws and rampaging over collapsed arches and shell-paved streets.

"But isn't that strange? If you hated Queen Azshara so much, why did you name this land after her?"

Alvin turned and asked.

Upon hearing this, Shandris and the green shadow sitting behind Alvin exchanged a strange look. Shandris' lips moved, and Alvin could tell from her cute lips that she meant "What stupid thing is this guy doing again?"

"Sometimes you are really puzzling. You know many ancient secrets that even the Archdruid may not know. You seem to have a unique understanding of dragons, demons, and even the Old Gods. But..."

She paused and emphasized her tone.

"When it comes to some of the most basic and obvious historical knowledge, you act like a rookie!"

Alvin felt a pang of shame, secretly complaining: "I'm so ashamed. When I played the game, I was only focused on completing dungeons and completing quests to get equipment. I skipped the background stories of the maps. How could I remember the details outside the main storyline so clearly..."

Shantis didn't delve into it further. After complaining, she continued to explain:

"This land, this sunken city, its first and most glorious name was 'Gin-Azshari' - meaning 'Glory of Azshara'. She is the shining jewel of the ancient night elf empire."

Her eyes swept across the endless expanse of wreckage below, and she sighed.

"Look at her now. Even though she's so broken and fallen, you can still see from this magnificent skeleton and those giant stone pillars that still stand, her former splendor and magnificence, which dominated Azeroth."

"However, everything ended in that devastating catastrophe. The explosion of the Well of Eternity tore the earth apart, and endless waters swallowed up its core. The surviving Kaldorei were forced to leave their homeland, and this cursed ruin was regarded by us as a place of eternal pain and shame, and we no longer want to mention it."

Her voice turned cold, filled with deep hatred.

"But later, our sentinels discovered that the elven nobles who followed Azshara into the abyss had become twisted! They had transformed into horrific half-human, half-snake monsters covered in scales—the naga!"

"It was these abominable naga who reoccupied this ruin! It was they who renamed this ruined city 'Azshara' in memory of the banshee who dragged them into eternal damnation!"

Shandris' tone was full of contempt.

"So, we, the night elves, continue to use this name, not out of respect for that traitor, but to remember one thing—this is the lair of the Fallen and their deep-sea monsters! It is the embodiment of Azshara's evil legacy!"

She pointed to the relatively intact ruins on the coastline below:

"The area near us, still on land, is what we call the Ruins of Eldarath. It was the former port area and part of the outer city of the Jin-Azsari."

Then, she pointed to the huge underwater ruins half-submerged in the sea in the distance.

"As for that area deep inside Crescent Bay, most of which is submerged in the shallow sea... we call it Storm Bay."

She shook her head slightly.

"It's... extremely dangerous there, filled with unpredictable violent weather and strange energy turbulence. Only one of the bravest and luckiest Sentinel sisters ever explored deeply and returned alive. She reported that the sea seemed to be shrouded in an eternal curse, with clear skies torn apart in an instant, unleashing devastating storms and thunder for no apparent reason. Therefore, the name serves as both a description and a warning. We have rarely organized any exploration of the core sunken area."

Alvin nodded slowly, his doubts resolved.

"So that's how it is. There's actually such a connection."

He whispered, his gaze once again directed towards the sunken city that shone with shattered light in the sunlight.

"Storm Bay? Where's the blue dragon Azuregos? Shandris, do you have any clues about the possible location of his lair? After all, he's our main target on this trip."

Shandris's expression returned to her usual calm and competent demeanor. She shook her head frankly, "I'm sorry, Alvin. It's been a long time since I've personally set foot in this dangerous area. The Blue Dragon Lord's whereabouts are secretive, and his lair will not be easily exposed. However, we are not alone here."

She leaned down slightly, approaching Akalitassa's forehead and neck, and whispered clear instructions in a low voice: "Akalitassa, please fly to the southeast, to the higher sea cliff area near the foot of the mountain range. Do you see the camp with the watchtower? Land there."

The little red dragon let out a short and powerful roar to show that it understood. It adjusted the angle of its huge wings, drew a graceful arc, and glided towards the direction indicated by Shandris.

Shandris sat up straight, turned around and looked at Alvin, her face returning to the solemn expression she had when she first met Alvin.

"In order to block the Naga in the deep sea and prevent them from using these ruins as a springboard to erode inland, we established an outpost here, stationed with the most elite sentinel troops and druids. There are no peaceful villages or tranquil woodlands here..."

"Welcome to the front, Alvin."

Her silver eyes were as sharp as knives, sweeping across the increasingly approaching camp with obvious fortifications below, and the vaguely visible naga figure slithering like a venomous snake on the sea in the distance.

"This is the place where the eternal flames of war between the Kaldorei and the Deep Sea Cursed intersect—the Eldaras Line!"
