Putting aside the fact that Alvin's team is preparing to set off for Azshara, the perspective shifts to the sea not far from the west coast of Kalimdor.

The cold, salty sea breeze howled across the deck of the Fury of the Tides. This three-masted gunboat, the pride of Kul Tiras, now looked like an underground spider that had just crawled out of a mine, dark and dirty.

Its blue flag with a golden anchor, which once symbolized the alliance's maritime hegemony, still fluttered at the top of the mainmast, ironically proclaiming its false identity.

There was no one on the deck, or rather, no living sailors.

Instead, there are some hideous demon guards.

These demons from the Twisting Nether were clumsily manipulating the cables, their heavy bodies leaving charred dents in the finely crafted oak decks, and their rough movements made the elegant warship groan under the strain.

The sea lion statue on the bow, which symbolizes the indomitable will of Kul Tiras, had one eye smashed and stared blankly at the gray sea ahead.

This warship once belonged to the son of the Kul Tiran Admiral. During the Second War, the Kul Tiran navy was attacked by the Horde's allies, the black dragonspawn of Deathwing.

Several important warships were sunk and countless brave sailors died.

The once luxurious captain's room was now filled with a pungent smell mixed with orc sweat and demon stench.

Behind the huge mahogany sailing table sits the true master of this ship - the cannibal magician Gul'gall.

This ogre magician with two hideous heads had a huge body that almost filled the specially made seat.

His skin, covered with thick keratin and coarse hair, shone in the dim whale oil lamp. The four cloudy but sharp eyes on his two heads scanned the silent adjutants in front of him.

The head on the left, "Gu", has a sinister look in his eyes, as if calculating something, while the head on the right, "Gar", has an impatient and violent expression on his face.

The one reporting was an orc warlock named Rogkrik Shadowember, wearing tattered robes and with sickly green skin.

His bony fingers stroked a fel crystal that emitted an ominous green light, his voice hoarse and tired:

"Lord Cho'gall, the whispers of the Twisting Nether bring bad news. I've confirmed through my contracted imp that we've lost contact with the two elite reconnaissance teams we sent to the ancient ruins submerged in the sea to the north and the snowy mountain pass."

He paused, sensing the sudden rise in tension in the room.

"Their summons—those hellhounds and succubi—have returned to the Twisting Nether, which means their summoners have been utterly destroyed. Silence, no alarm was sent back."

"This is impossible!"

A violent roar exploded from an orc warrior as tall as an iron tower and with scars all over his face, Urgo Skullcrusher, who was also Gudan's most loyal bodyguard.

He took a sudden step forward, his steel boots leaving cracks in the teak floor.

"Those weaklings in the Alliance have no idea we've set foot on this wild continent! How could they have the power to silently wipe out our strongest squad? Your little brat must be lying! Or maybe you, a cowardly warlock, are mistaken!"

Urgo's saliva almost sprayed on Roglic's face, and his eyes were burning with bloodthirsty fighting spirit.

The muscles on Roglic's withered face twitched, and his eyes glowed with fel green light. He stared back at Ulgo fearlessly:

"Fool! Demons may be evil, but they never lie about the truth of the contract! The power lurking in those ruins and snow-capped mountains is far beyond the imagination of a barbarian like you who only knows how to swing an axe!"

"I've said it before! This continent is even more ancient than our homeland, Draenor! Here slumbers beings more bizarre than demons and more primitive than the elements! Any thought of disrespecting this land and its creatures is pushing us into the abyss of destruction!"

Urgo sneered, full of contempt:

"Ha! Listen! 'Stranger than a demon'? 'Primal than the elements'? Roglic, have you lost your mind to the fel energy, or have you been frightened by this damned jungle?"

He looked around exaggeratedly at the other silent orc officers.

"I see you're missing your days as a shaman in Nagrand? Are you tempted to listen to the feeble 'Voice of the Earth' again? Don't forget, it was Master Cho'gall and the Twilight's Hammer that gave you power! True power!"

He slapped his plate-armored chest hard, making a dull thud.

"Fuck! You idiot with a brain full of muscles!"

Roglic screamed, dangerous fel sparks dancing between his fingers.

"You don't understand what we're facing! It's a silent, bone-deep terror!"

The two men were like enraged beasts, roaring, accusing each other, and spitting in the narrow captain's room.

Other orc officers stepped forward and tried to pull the two apart, but their whispered persuasions seemed pale and powerless in the fierce quarrel.

"enough!!!"

A roar like a thunderous explosion burst out from both heads of Gugall at the same time. The huge ogre stood up suddenly, and his right fist, which was comparable to a battering ram, smashed down on the heavy mahogany navigation table with violent force!

"Boom - click!"

The solid oak tabletop shattered like a fragile biscuit.

Wood chips, broken navigation instruments, scattered nautical charts and cups flew everywhere, and the wood chips hit the faces of the surrounding orcs hard. The unlucky guy screamed and squatted down with his hands covering his face.

All the arguments suddenly ceased. Ulgo and Rogric froze in place, their faces pale as if they were kali birds being strangled. The other orcs retreated in fear, silent as a mouse, not daring to breathe.

The demon guards were guarding the door, and they also lowered their ferocious heads.

The four eyes of Gugall's two heads burned with cold anger as they scanned his silent men.

The "gu" on the left has a low sound:

"Roglic is right to be cautious."

He spoke slowly, broken wood chips falling from his fists.

"The great being that guides us across the Endless Sea and brings true 'Twilight' lurks deep within the vast and scorching desert to the south."

His eyes seemed to penetrate the cabin and look towards the distant south.

"Reaching there and completing communication with God is our supreme mission! Before that, any unnecessary exposure and conflict is a blasphemy against the oracle!"

The "Gar" head on the right made an even more violent sound, spit flying everywhere:

"But! What Urgo said is also true!"

He pointed a huge finger at the empty wooden barrel in the corner that had once been filled with bacon and hard bread, and at several tilted water bags. "Gentlemen! Look at our situation! The last time we had meat was three days ago! The last drop of fresh water was licked yesterday!"

He slapped his shrunken belly angrily, making a muffled sound like a drum.

"And the meat is rotten! The water is rotten!"

"If you keep drifting on the sea like a headless chicken, the next thing I'm going to smash with my fists won't be the table, but some unfortunate soul's head, just to see if there's anything inside that can quench his thirst!"

He opened his fang-filled mouth with a ferocious smile.

"Then we'll have no choice but to drink our own urine! Do you want to taste that?!"

The "Gu" on the left head took over the conversation:

"Therefore, the current situation forces us to change our strategy. We must immediately find a safe place to stay! Replenish food and fresh water, let the soldiers recover their strength, and at the same time..."

There was a gleam in his eyes.

"Find out the truth about this coast and see if there are any 'strange ruins' nearby that are worth exploring and may be related to our true god. Keep a low profile, but be sure to gain something."

As if fate had heard his plea, at this moment, the heavy wooden door of the captain's room was thrown open, and a demon guard with a wet body and burning skin rushed in clumsily, roaring a report in Abyssal Language.

"There's an island ahead...?!"

An orc warlock who was somewhat fluent in Demon language quickly translated.
