Alvin gasped.

Recalling the scene I had just seen in the Blue Dragon Mage's spiritual world, the surging ocean, the cobalt blue hills, the breathtakingly beautiful yet completely destructive blue forest, and the fel energy rain that fell from the sky, burning everything...

He described to Green Shadow what he saw truthfully.

"The blue forest?"

Lu Ying was stunned when she heard this, with disbelief written all over her pretty face.

"Is there such a place in Azeroth? There's no record of it in the Emerald Dream! I've never heard of it!"

As a druid, her knowledge of the natural world far exceeded that of ordinary people, but the scene Alvin described was completely beyond her knowledge.

Alvin rubbed his still aching temple and smiled bitterly. "That scene was absolutely real. Its authenticity suggests it's been seared deep into her consciousness. This must be a crucial place deep within her memory, perhaps even her hometown."

He looked at the still unresponsive female mage and went over the geographical map of Azeroth that he knew in his mind.

That blue forest seemed a bit like the Dragonbone Wasteland and also a bit like the blue dragon habitat on the Broken Isles, but Alvin couldn't be sure with just that brief glance.

"It seems that only when she wakes up can she give us the answer."

Just then, a burst of hurried footsteps came from the depths of the cave. It was Akalitrasa and Shantis returning.

The little red dragon walked in front, her always energetic face full of excitement at this moment.

In her arms, she held two dragon eggs as big as oval buckets tightly in a slightly funny posture.

Shandris followed closely behind, her posture appearing much more relaxed and elegant, but she also carefully embraced the other two.

"Brother Alvin! We found four dragon eggs!"

Akalitrassa said excitedly, "There are only four here. No wonder there are so few blue dragons!"

"The blue dragonflight was once betrayed by a black dragon, suffering heavy casualties and nearly being annihilated. After that battle, I heard that the blue dragon king, Malygos, has been mentally unstable ever since. That's why blue dragons are so rare. And precisely because of this, every blue dragon egg is so important. We must bring the eggs to the blue dragonflight."

Akalitasa was surprised: "So this kind of thing has happened!"

Alvin nodded.

"Fortunately, the Dragon King's meeting is only a day away. We can go back to Everlook to rest and take the dragon egg to Moonglade early tomorrow morning!"

Four dragon eggs emitted a soft and mysterious ice-blue glow in the dim cave.

They are similar in size and have a perfect streamlined oval shape.

The eggshell was not smooth, but covered with a layer of fine, strange protrusions like condensed ice crystals. Alvin touched it and it was icy cold, yet warm like jade.

"Indeed, apart from these precious dragon eggs, the nest is completely empty. There's not even a decent straw mat. The incubation environment for blue dragons is truly rudimentary."

Shantis carefully adjusted the way she held the egg, fearing it would fall.

She gently placed the dragon egg in her arms on a relatively flat ground, her movements as gentle as if she were treating fragile porcelain.

"The only adult blue dragons here are probably the one who died at the door and her."

She looked up at Alvin and Green Shadow, her eyes swept over the female mage who was still standing there, and finally fell on Alvin's face.

"How are you guys doing? Alvin, you don't look well."

Alvin was surprised at Shandris's agility. He stood up with the help of Green Shadow and brushed off the dust on his body.

"Don't worry, it's okay. Since there's nothing else to do here, let's go back to Everlook Town!"

Alvin said in a deep voice,

"Take the dragon egg and...her."

He pointed at the female mage.

No one objected, and Green Shadow gently took the Blue Dragon Mage's cold hand - the latter did not resist at all, but was guided obediently, her empty eyes still drifting towards Alvin from time to time.

The group walked out in silence along the way they came, their footsteps echoing in the empty cave.

When they walked out of the cave, the huge body of the sacrificed adult male blue dragon was still lying quietly on the ice, like a sleeping glacier.

The silver-blue scales reflected a cold luster in the faint light, and the coagulated blood formed a layer of deep red ice under the body. The huge head tilted weakly to one side, and the once majestic dragon eyes now only had empty deathly silence.

Alvin stopped and looked solemn.

He sighed, signaled his companions to wait, and walked alone to the blue dragon's huge head, knelt on one knee, and gently pressed his hands on the dragon's forehead scales, which were as cold as ten thousand year old black ice, and closed his eyes.

Low prayers echoed in the silent ice cave, seemingly carrying the power to soothe the soul.

"Great holy light, illuminate the lost soul. Child of magic, may your body return to ice and snow, your soul to the stars. May the dawn tear through the long night, guide you to break free from your bonds, and find rest in eternity."

As the prayer fell, soft holy light flowed out from Alvin's palm, like a warm stream, slowly pouring into the blue dragon's cold body.

Wherever the light passed, the frozen wounds seemed to be gently smoothed out, and the ferocious posture of the blue dragon seemed to become more peaceful.

"Rest in peace, fearless being."

Alvin whispered softly, standing up.

Akalitasa's tears were already flowing.

As a dragonborn, she could feel the pain.

She took a deep breath, walked to the open space in the center of the valley, and her body began to change dramatically.

A fiery red light emerged, and the petite figure expanded, stretched, and was covered with hard red scales.

With a low dragon roar, a huge red dragon full of power and burning breath suddenly appeared in front of everyone.

Her crimson scales shone like burning embers in the snow.

The little red dragon lowered its huge head and let out a low, ancient-rhythmic rumbling sound from the depths of its throat. Those were syllables in the dragon language that expressed mourning and farewell.

Then, she suddenly spread out her huge red wings that were big enough to cover half of the valley, and swung them vigorously towards the snow around her!

Huh-boom!

The flapping of the dragon's wings was like two huge blowers, sweeping up the snow and ice dust on the ground, forming an extremely powerful updraft.

In an instant, the thick snow covering the surrounding rock walls rushed down like a collapsing white waterfall!

A large amount of snow was melted and evaporated by the hot cyclone stirred up by the dragon's wings, and then quickly condensed again in the cold air, turning into a blizzard of astonishing scale.

The sky was filled with pure white snowflakes, mixed with glittering ice crystals lifted by the air currents, falling like goose feathers, gently yet swiftly covering the huge body of the blue dragon.

One layer, two layers... the blue dragon's body gradually disappeared under the pure white, and finally formed a solemn and majestic ice and snow tomb.

Only the huge outline was faintly visible in the wind and snow.

"Let this guardian of ice sleep forever in the ice and snow he loves."

Alvin's voice was particularly clear in the wind and snow.
