Chapter 48: Going to Tarren Mill to attend your own wedding? ?

Alvin handed the bracelet to Akalitasa, and she took it excitedly and put it on her wrist.

The bracelet looked especially beautiful on her wrist, the shine of the gemstones accentuating her smile, making it appear even brighter.

"Very beautiful!" Alvin said happily, patting her shoulder gently.

"I'm glad you like it. Now let's go back and pack our bags. We'll set off for Tarren Mill when Jim comes back."

Originally, Alvin wanted to pack up his things and quietly leave Sepulcher in Jim's carriage.

He didn't want to disturb the townspeople's daily lives, nor did he want them to feel sad about his departure.

However, the loudmouthed Jim let the cat out of the bag, causing the townspeople to block the road in three layers when they left.

Everyone took out gifts to give to Alvin.

Some people handed over fresh bread, some brought fragrant bacon, and some took out small accessories they made by themselves.

Alvin looked at these thoughtful gifts and felt both moved and helpless. The townspeople's kindness was the most precious, but he could not take these items away.

Finally, Alvin reluctantly decided to pack up all the food and give it to Akalitasa, without taking any gold, silver or money.

Akalitasa took the food with a happy smile on her face.

Just then, Lord Silverlaine also arrived.

He was wearing a gorgeous suit and had a warm smile on his face.

"Elvin," Lord Silverlaine stepped forward.

"You are a hero to our town and we will never forget what you did."

Alvin smiled and nodded, "Thank you, Lord. I just did what I should do."

"Please wait a moment,"

Lord Silverlaine pulled a small box from his bosom and opened it, revealing an exquisite silver badge engraved with the emblem of Silverpine Forest.

He approached Alvin and put it on his chest with his own hands.

"This is the Silverpine Forest Warrior's Medal. It's worthy only of the strongest warriors, and you are such a warrior."

Alvin was a little touched, he realized the preciousness of this.

"Thank you, my Lord. This means a lot to me."

Lord Silverlaine clapped his hands again and said with a smile, "Alvin, these gold coins are a small token of our town's appreciation. I hope you can accept them as travel expenses."

The waiter brought in a heavy box.

Alvin looked at the box of gold coins with a smile, but shook his head firmly.

"Thank you for your kindness, my lord, but I cannot accept these gold coins."

Lord Silverlaine frowned, clearly troubled. "Then is there anything else I can do for you?"

Alvin thought for a moment, took out two exquisite wooden boxes from his luggage, and carefully handed them to the lord.

"My Lord, if possible, I hope you can send someone to deliver these two wooden boxes to the Starwish family in Silvermoon City."

"Just tell them it's from Alvin Priest."

Lord Silvalene took the wooden box with a wicked smile on his face and a cunning gleam in his eyes.

"I understand what you mean, Mr. Irwin Priest! No problem, I will definitely arrange for it to be properly delivered."

He patted Alvin on the back and laughed.

"Our Holy Light spokesperson is a man of character, very much to my liking, hahahaha!"

Alvin also smiled awkwardly, feeling relieved.

These two wooden boxes contain his promises, given to the girls far away in Silvermoon City, and also express his thoughts and blessings for them.

The time of departure finally arrived, and Alvin, Akalitrassa and Jim set out on their journey to Tarren Mill.

The carriage moved slowly forward in the morning light. Alvin looked back at the town and waved goodbye to everyone in the distance.

Lord Silverlaine and the townspeople remained standing, watching them leave.

I also hope that this young hero will create more miracles in his future adventures.

Alvin solemnly put the badge away and looked back at Akalitraza.

The girl was taking a piece of bacon out of the bag and preparing to finish it. When she saw Alvin, she nodded to him solemnly.

The carriage moved slowly forward in the morning light. The road was boring, but Jim was in high spirits.

Perhaps because it was a rare occasion for him to travel with others, he enthusiastically told Alvin about some of the situations in Tarren Mill.

Tarren Mill is located in the middle of Hillsbrad Foothills, bordering the Alterac Mountains to the north and the Alliance's Southshore to the south.

Jim said, "This place is a major transportation hub, so commerce is very developed. Even though the town is small, there are many wealthy people here. I heard that the wealthy people here started out as orchard owners, and then got lucky and discovered iron ore at the foot of the mountain. Many people have made fortunes from these businesses."

Alvin nodded and listened carefully to Jim's story.

"By the way, speaking of the mayor of Tarren Mill, his name is Skarlock Baccio. People like to call him Captain because he served in the army when he was young. In the previous orc war, he took the initiative to recruit the young men in the town to pursue the orc army."

As the two were talking, the carriage passed through Silverpine Forest unknowingly.

Suddenly, the view opened up, and what came into view was no longer the gray of the Silver Pine Forest, but a vibrant green hill.

The sun shines on the hills, the grass is dotted with colorful wildflowers, and the mountains in the distance are rolling, the scenery is picturesque.

"Wow!" Akalitasa's eyes sparkled with excitement. She threw away the bacon in her hand and stood up from the cargo box at the back.

She placed her hands on Alvin's shoulders and looked around excitedly.

A breeze blew against the moving carriage, and Akalitasa's long red hair was blown into disarray by the wind.

She casually threw her long hair back, and her thick hair fluttered in the wind, shining like a flame of red in the sun, looking particularly charming.

Alvin laughed and said, "Ha, even our Akali has stopped eating to enjoy the scenery? Do you think the green environment is comfortable? Come on, let's shout in this vibrant green world!"

Akalitraza nodded and took a deep breath.

The roar of "Roar, roar, roar" began to resound throughout the wilderness...

The roar shook the entire world and startled the birds in the bushes...

The roar frightened Jim so much that he dropped the reins and almost fell off the carriage.

He stared at the red-haired girl in surprise with wide eyes.

Alvin laughed heartily, patted Akali Tasha on the shoulder, and said, "This is our Akali Tasha! This is our free spirit!"

"Could you please warn me before you yell next time? I don't want to be frightened and fall off the carriage again!"

Jim finally stabilized the carriage, took a breath, and said with an awkward smile: "Of course I'm not a coward, it's just a little sudden!"

Just as they were immersed in the beautiful scenery, a group of people rushed over from the road ahead and blocked their way forward.

Everyone who came was dressed in formal attire, some held flags, and others carried drums, flutes, and harps.

"Excuse me, is this the carriage of Mr. El Priest, the honorable miracle priest, the spokesperson of the Holy Light, and the savior of Silverpine Forest?"

The leading gentleman came over and stood beside the carriage and asked.

Alvin smiled slightly and nodded: "Excuse me, who are you?"

The gentleman bowed slightly.

"We are Tarren Mill's wedding procession, and we have come specially to greet you. Upon hearing that you were coming, we specially prepared this welcoming ceremony to take you to Tarren Mill for the wedding."

"Thank you so much for the warm welcome. We're so excited to be here...what?! A wedding?!"
