The morning mist flowed through the branches of the Gray Valley Forest. As Alvin hurried on his way, he looked up at the layers of green sky.

The branches of thousand-year-old trees weave into an emerald network in the sky, and the hanging glowing vines are like an inverted galaxy.

Some kind of flying monkey with iridescent scales flew through the treetops, dropping blueberry cores that hit him right on the forehead.

"The night elves do take good care of their forests."

Alvin turned around and said to the little red dragon, "The forests on the eastern continent are indeed a bit overdeveloped. Many of the deep forests have become bandit or werewolf camps. Even in Stranglethorn Vale, if you casually throw a Shadow Charge into the forest, it will hurt a few goblins from the Venture Capital Company."

Akalitassa didn't know what the venture capital company her brother Alvin was talking about was, but this forest was indeed more magnificent and more primitive than any forest she had ever seen before.

As they skirted a pond bubbling with magical fireflies, the spiral staircase of Maestra's Watch came into view.

At the end of the stairs, a towering watchtower stood among the giant trees, and defensive runes in Kaldorei script appeared on the edge of the tower.

Then, a clear eagle whistle sounded through the sky, and several nimble figures came down the stairs.

The man was also riding a black Night Blade Leopard, and he was very fast. He soon arrived in front of Shantis and others.

The leading captain was also a female Kaldorei, her dark blue skin matching the forest's appearance was revealed under her leather armor, and she carried a longbow with an owl-like edge on her back.

"May the stars guide your path, General. Sentinel Luana comes at your call."

Luana bowed in greeting, and the sentries behind her also bowed their heads in greeting.

Shandris nodded.

"Luyana, how is the situation in Astranaar?"

"Priestess Meisena is currently presiding over the work in Astrana. Everything was normal when I left."

Luana glanced around at Shandris's team, a look of curiosity on her face. "Where's Captain Arya?"

"We split into two groups. Arya led the men to the Temple of Aessina."

Shandris pursed her lips and whispered, "The enemy attacked the Temple of Aessina and took the Moonstone."

"what?!"

Luyana's expression changed drastically. "Were those cultists mentioned in the letter responsible?"

Shandris nodded.

"Alright, Commander, what are your instructions? Team Luyana is at your disposal."

Shantis quickly explained the situation to Luyana and the others, and Luyana quickly learned that Shantis and her group's destination was a treehouse in the forest.

"Astranaar is safe and sound. It seems the enemy has indeed taken a detour. We have a great chance now. Let's keep going and try to reach the treehouse in the forest before those cultists! Our straight route will be shorter in terms of distance!"

At Shandris's command, the two teams merged into one and moved forward again.

The reunited sentinels were soon surprised to find that following their familiar comrades were two humans, a man and a woman.

The female human had beautiful red hair and didn't talk much. She seemed to have no interest in anything other than the human male.

The human male was wearing a priest's robe and carrying an exaggerated staff on his back. He always seemed to have a smile on his face.

Shandris quickly noticed all this.

There are very few other races in Teldrassil. This is because the Kaldorei love nature and tranquility, and the noisy and boisterous humans and dwarves are not compatible with them by nature.

Another thing is that the elves don’t like races that cut down trees. They find it hard to understand why humans cut down trees to build houses. Wouldn’t it be better to just live in the trees?

"His name is Elwen Priest, a human from the eastern continent, seemingly from a kingdom called Lordaeron."

"I see......"

Luana nodded and looked at the legendary human male curiously.

The people who came to Astranaar from Darnassus to transport supplies in the morning also mentioned that a human priest came to the territory of the Kaldorei in strange flying equipment, but they did not expect that he was already deeply involved in the mission.

Alvin was no longer surprised by such curious looks. When he saw someone looking at him, he would grin and give what he thought was a very cool smile, and then he would look at the scenery in the valley by himself.

Until they saw a crystal clear lake with an island in the middle. On the island were obviously some night elf-style buildings, and their road was separated from the lake by two suspension bridges, connecting directly to the island.

"This is Astranaar, the largest Kaldorei stronghold in Ashenvale."

Shandris whispered to Alvin, "The residents here rarely see humans. Please don't behave disrespectfully."

"With you here, I wouldn't dare to be rude even if I wanted to."

Alvin grumbled under his breath, earning a huge eye roll from Shandris in return.

"I'm Luana. I've brought General Shandris Feathermoon's troops. We're heading through Astranaar to the Forest Trees. Please lower the drawbridge!"

Luyana's Moon Blade Leopard took the lead and came to the front of the suspension bridge. Vine-like energy veins suddenly emerged on the bridge. These bridges seemed to have life, and were woven from ironwood roots stimulated by druid magic.

Astranaar's guards spotted the huntress and quickly lowered the drawbridge.

As the drawbridge was fully lowered, Alvin and Akalitrasza followed the main force into the night elf stronghold in Ashenvale. Only then did Astranaar's true form emerge from the mist.

The whole city looks like a star that has fallen in the center of the lake. Although the town is not big, hotels, shops, and military facilities are scattered throughout the town.

On a higher place on the island, there is a small Moon Temple. Its dome is inlaid with a strange gem. The gem emits a faint white light, illuminating the entire town.

"Shandris!"

A woman in a moon-white robe stood at the door of the temple, waving to the large army while running down the hillside in a panic.

"Meisena! We need to get to the treehouse in the forest as soon as possible! You don't have to come and see us off!"

Shandris shouted, it seemed like they were old acquaintances.

The priestess ran breathlessly, "Shandis! Wait, wait for me! I have news to tell you!"

Seeing this, Shandris had no choice but to let the troops go ahead. She stopped her mount, signaled to Alvin to follow her, and then turned and ran towards the priestess.

"What is it? Can't you wait until I get back?"

"Ha ha......."

Meisena had a common problem among elven priests, which was that her physical fitness was really poor. The poor female priest was sweating profusely, and she held her waist and gasped for a long time before she recovered.

"This is the news from the tree dwellings in the forest. The tree elves said that one of their sisters encountered some strange people while patrolling the forest. The sister was seriously injured, but she eventually escaped from these villains. They want to ask for our support!"

Shandris was shocked and looked at Alvin.

"These guys are really fast! Luckily the tree demons were alerted in advance. If the tree dwelling in the forest is attacked by surprise, it would be very dangerous. Without further delay, we should set out to support them as soon as possible!"

Shantis had wanted to leave a long time ago, but she was still a little worried.

"But...those weird tentacles drive men crazy...I think it's best if you stay here."

"Don't worry, I won't go crazy. Even if I do, I'll just attack you. You just need to knock me out."

Alvin laughed out loud, thinking that the real Old God in his dagger didn't drive him crazy, so how could he watch himself being controlled by the minions of other Old Gods?

Shandris blushed and threw an uppercut straight at Alvin's stomach.

Alvin dodged sideways lightly.

"Why are you hitting me now? I haven't attacked you yet. If you hit me, I'm really going to hit you!"

After saying that, he laughed loudly and drove the Night Blade Leopard to chase the main force.

"Damn humans!"

Shandris cursed, then looked at the stunned priestess and realized that she had lost her composure.

"Meisena, I'm leaving too. Thank you for the news! I'm leaving!"

"Oh, oh! Be safe!"

The priestess finally recovered from her shock. Was this human man the miracle priest that those people from Darnassus had talked about?

As far as I can remember, Shantis Yuyue has never had such an intimate relationship with a man...

Looking at Shandris chasing Alvin, Meisena was still surprised.
