Princess Promotion

Chapter 33 Duke

A few days later, at the gate of the Duke's Mansion.

Li Yinhan had arrived in Yan State and had escaped danger when he sent a letter back to his father and brother.

But in order to investigate the spies and for Yao Chuguang's safety, it is safer to stay outside.

But unexpectedly, Yao Chuguang and his companions stayed for a whole month, and these dukes of the Kingdom of Heaven stretched their necks every day waiting for Yao Chuguang to come back.

In the next few days, I received several letters from home every day, trying to urge the Milky Way to pass.

Li Yinhan had just knocked on the door. After the doorman opened the door, he asked the servant to go and announce that he had brought the princess back.

When the servant saw Yao Chuguang behind him, he nodded and ran in to inform the Duke.

Yao Chuguang was a little curious. Li Yinhan was returning home, not visiting someone else's house, so why did he need a servant to inform him?

Yao Chuguang: "Why don't you just go in?"

Li Yinhan: "My father repeatedly told me in the letter that he would pick you up at the door in person. If I bring you in without permission, he will beat me."

Although Yao Chuguang felt it was a bit strange, he didn't say anything and just waited.

Not long after, Li Yinhan saw his mighty and unyielding father running towards him with red eyes.

Since he was a child, his father always had a stern face towards him and believed that beatings make good sons.

This trip actually made his father so worried. It seemed that his father knew the difficulties of his trip and cared so much that his eyes were red.

When Li Yinhan was thinking about what expression to use to deal with this fatherly love, the Duke had already run up to Li Yinhan and raised his hand towards Li Yinhan.

Li Yinhan was a little excited. Was his father going to hug him?

Li Yinhan was just about to stretch out his hands, but unexpectedly the Duke changed the direction of his hand and slapped Li Yinhan directly on the shoulder with such force that he almost knocked Li Yinhan to the ground.

The Duke said, "You little brat, I told you to tell me when you'll be back so I can wait for our Ah Chu at the door."

The Duke grew angrier as he spoke: "It would have been fine if you didn't tell me the time in advance, but you even made our Ah Chu wait at the door. If he gets a cold from the cold wind, you'll be in trouble."

Not feeling satisfied, he punched Li Yinhan twice, making the blows sound loudly.

Yao Chuguang was so frightened that he hurried out and separated the father and son. When the Duke faced Yao Chuguang, the fierce expression on his face froze and instantly became gentle.

Yao Chuguang looked at the Duke who was as strong as a mountain in front of him. His eyes were red and he looked a little ferocious due to excessive excitement. If there was no cry in his voice, outsiders would think he was fighting with his enemy.

Yao Chuguang said in a comforting voice: "Uncle, you see Ah Chu has returned unharmed. You should be happy."

The Duke then raised his tearful eyes and looked at Yao Chuguang carefully from head to toe.

Yao Chuguang really couldn't bear the sight of this tough guy crying, so he quickly said that he hadn't had a good rest for a while and was a little tired.

Upon hearing this, the Duke quickly pulled Yao Chuguang up and walked into the inner mansion, introducing excitedly as they walked: "A Chu, this is a precious item that your uncle found especially for you..."

Li Yinhan looked at the back of Yao Chuguang who was welcomed into the mansion by everyone, and stretched out a trembling hand. Did they forget that there was someone...

However, until everyone's backs disappeared, no one noticed Li Yinhan, who was standing alone at the door leading a horse.

Li Yinhan waited for a while, and finally had no choice but to accept the fact that he had been forgotten by everyone.

Li Yinhan was about to go in alone when he saw a servant hurriedly running out of the house. Li Yinhan was finally a little comforted that there was still someone who remembered him, and this servant was quite smart.

The servant didn't even look up as he crossed Li Yinhan's path, muttering to himself as he ran, "Go and inform the young master as soon as possible!"

Li Yinhan...he was indeed forgotten.
